The Pontiff Visits.

The rock was very small, and Auryn immediately said, "Appraise".

Avery took the rock from Auryn's hands and crushed it before they turned over and proceeded to the school. Along the way, they found fifty such rocks and destroyed them.

Even though the system didn't know what it was yet, Auryn was sure it was for monitoring, they destroyed them and arrived at the school.

The guard laughed before he patted Avery on the back, and waved towards his sister.

"Any time you want to fight me Rabbit, let me know."

"See you later grandpa," Avery replied before they walked into the school.

The rock was in their mind all class, and by the time it was lunch they were both thinking about it still. They ate by themselves as the students stayed away in fear of slipping. They were traumatized by the battle on the first day and choose to keep away for a few days.

Finally, after ten or so days in the school, a few students approached the Twins. They had already time enough to search the island and destroy 500 of those rocks.

The technology on Ares four islands was powered by spirit stones, which stored the powers of heaven and earth. The system didn't detect any magic fluctuations, so it ruled out a lot of reasons.

Avery scooted over as classmate Elton sat by his side. He was feeling indignant and didn't want to be a part of Calvin's possie anymore. The two twins did well in class, so he courageously joined their lunch table.

"Why do you guy's seem so deep in thought?" He asked the twins and dropped his plate.

"We're just thinking about our lives..."

"You say we like you both can hear each other's-"

Auryn kicked her brother's foot and laughed. "Ha... what he means is we're just about to leave and talk about it together!"

Elton nodded his head and started eating his food. After a few minutes, they got to know Elton. He was a noble that lived on the 20th floor of the palace and wanted to be a Worm Lord. a cultivator who specializes in poison worms. He showed them his weapon was a taming type, so he needed a sponsor to purchase some from the Attenborough Airships, and tried to befriend Calvin. Unfortunately, Calvin wasn't the type to help others for no profit, and it peeved him to no end.

"Tsh, he won't be king for a few years. We'll help you," Auryn said as her brother stared down at a map of all the rock locations.

"Yup... see you later," Avery answered the wrong question, but nonetheless Elton smiled and then ran off with a giddy expression on his cheeks.

The Twins went home after that, and a few more days passed. They finally collected all the rocks on the island, and the system discovered a formation was built using those rocks. They had inadvertently destroyed that formation, and a man showed up at their door before school the next day.

"Ah... so you two are the ones," The Pontiff said surprising them and tossed a rock over towards Avery's hands. It was the same mysterious rock that they destroyed.

Auryn was still upstairs getting dressed, and he saw her fixing her hair in the mirror. She thought about her hair a lot and cared about her fingernails. Sometimes, she'd even walk over to him while he slept, and not minding his dreams, she would groom her brother.

"Uhm... is everything alright?"

The pontiff laughed and pat him on the back. "Yes, these were fake objects. Now, tell me, is your sister responsible, or was it you?"

Avery looked up imagining how nice it would be if his sister couldn't hear his thoughts. However, she ran out the door and swung her wet hair before she jumped into Avery's back.

"Oh... if it isn't the holy one," she said with a grin, "what is that you have in your hand?"

The pontiff laughed before he pointed at Avery finding out what he wanted. "The King will wish to see you, Avery. On the other hand, I'll be waiting for you Auryn." The pontiff walked off and smiled glad it wasn't Auryn, anyone but her.
