The Legendary Nosebleed

Chapter 9: Edited

*Continuation of Flashback*

Badump. Badump.

This time, a thousand, no, a million arrows struck Kevin's heart!

That smile was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen in his whole life. It was even better than the first because now, she only had him in his eyes.

It was absolutely not an exaggeration to say that he would play that scene a million times if he had recorded that extremely alluring and destructive smile on his phone. Sadly, he could only record it in his memory, because that smile only lasted for merely a second.

But as a genius, his photographic memory, that all people were envious of, was enough for him to remember this moment forever in his heart.

[This, my friends, was stupidity at its finest.]

Badump. Badump.

After several minutes of staring, he finally cursed inwardly.

"Damn."

That cupid was working way too damn hard for his own good.

When will his heart stop beating?

The non-stop pounding of his heart made it seem like it would die from overworking soon. Every time he saw her, it was not an exaggeration to say that his heart would explode! At this rate, his heart would literally stop beating, making him end up dead before he even knew it!

He had to make sure his heart was intact if he wanted to live on his dream of taking her as his wife!

[This, my friends, was also stupidity at its finest.]

A man's code of honor and pride was to definitely be the best in the eyes of their beloved.

Forgetting his code of honor and pride in front of the girl he loved, he hastily pulled his hands away from indecently embracing her and used them to cover his entire face that was totally red like a tomato.

Of course, he never realized the nosebleed that seeped through his hands.

Currently, what an outsider would see were two fifteen-year-olds flirting while lying on the bed in a very indecent position. Upon first glance, Kevin was definitely not the one taking advantage of her for both of his hands were covering his entire face. Instead, the one taking advantage would be the girl currently holding his manhood without even realizing it.

[Ah, stupidity at its finest.]

Meanwhile, the girl immediately detected that obvious hint of blood and wondered.

"Why is there blood on you?"

Either it was from his hands or his face. His hands didn't have any injury, so it must be from the face. Maybe it was from a pimple. But his face was flawless! So the only other option was a nosebleed or something more.

Instead of being worried, it was more accurate to say that she was filled with interest in this new discovery. Her gaze upon him was now brimming with curiosity.

Because of her 'job,' she did not feel disgusted with his bloody face at all. Instead, she loved the scent of blood, only if it were not hers. It meant a lot of things, but to her, it meant victory.

However, she did not want to offend him. So, she subconsciously wiped away that rude expression and became genuinely worried, internally wondering what on earth had happened to her poker face.

Fortunately, Kevin was too busy covering his entire tomato face out of embarrassment to even notice her change in expression or hear her obvious question.

With a swipe of her free hand (because the other was still mindlessly holding onto his manhood), the girl gently pulled his hands away from his face and stared at him with great concentration.

From her point of view, she could see a young handsome man blushing like a tomato with blood all over his face.

Yep, she was right. It was a nosebleed.

Meanwhile, her tender actions made Kevin's gaze upon her soften by a hundredfold, his heart bursting out with glee.

This was a very excellent development between the two of them, he thought.

"I'm alright. No worry," He gave her a reassuring smile and secretly looked forward to his vision coming to life sooner rather than later.

[Ah, what a wonderful misunderstanding.]

Being so lost in his thoughts, Kevin never noticed the girl's disappointed face.

"Too bad... It's just a regular nosebleed..." She silently thought to herself, feeling idiotic for thinking it was something more like an unknown disease.

Wait... What was she thinking in front of the person who she owed her life to?! Of course, it's good, not bad! Erase! Change!

Fortunately for her, Kevin did not notice the expressions plainly written on her face.

Now that she canceled her previous thoughts, she felt genuinely worried. The blood that flowed from his nose was just too much. Kevin's calm and serene expression was not reassuring at all.

She had to pay back her savior, and now would be one of the best times she could!

With no intention of letting go of his forgotten manhood, she used her free hand to wipe away the blood, without even using a handkerchief or any sort of cloth. If she did use a cloth, she would have more things to wash, which was tiring.

And so, she used her hand.

If others saw this, their minds would explode from confusion.

In their perspectives, they would see a man lying on the bed with his hands slightly hanging on the air and a girl, beside the man, holding on to his rod with one hand, while wiping away the blood on his cheeks and nose with her other hand.

When she rubbed her soft and small hands at his face, he felt like an old man who had lived his life to the fullest. He could just die at this moment and he would have no regrets.

[Stupidity at its finest is now back in business.]

No, wait! He would. He still had a future with her, so he absolutely cannot die now!

The girl did not know what he was thinking. She just continued to rub his face with her hands until there was no blood left on his face but the stains from wiping the blood off.

She was ignorant of the fact that if someone else had touched him this way, Kevin, being a perfect gentleman, would reveal a deadly smile all the while immediately heading for the restroom to wash the dirty fingerprints off. This showed yet another similarity between the brothers. Kevin was certainly the clean type who absolutely hated any kind of mess or even a speck of dirt, just like Kyle.

Of course, the hand she used to wipe away the blood from his face had been wiped again underneath Kevin's blazer, and he never noticed it at all.

Even if he noticed, he would happily see it as a gesture of love and affection. He would never get angry, because her touch, for him, was sweeter than honey and more precious than gold.

As a matter of fact, he would even go all the way to keep his blazer as a memento and souvenir in remembrance of this day.

[Ah, stupidity at its...]

Saying something like that was no exaggeration, because, three years later, the girl never knew that the entire uniform he wore the first time he met her was now kept in a fancy expensive wooden box underneath his bed.

[... Finest.] A soft voice concluded.

After the girl had finished cleaning his face, Kevin strengthened his resolution and vowed to possess the girl beside him!

Failure was absolutely not an option!

[Good.]

With a charming and seductive handsome smile on his face somewhat blood-stained face, Kevin immediately returned to the cool gentleman he once was, without a hint of blush, and sweetly said, "Sweetheart, if you want to thank me, answer my question."
