The Warriors of the Elemental World
It was the first day of the New Year and snowfall last night had enveloped the Sea and Mountain Village. Walking through the village one could smell different aromas wafting out of the houses. The families in the village were preparing for the new year's dinner. At the Tianshang residence, 6 people were sitting around the dining table eating dinner. Grandma Ming and Ming Yue had been invited over for dinner since Tianshang Fenghuang was to be mentored by Grandma Ming.
Tianshang Long finished his dinner as quickly as possible and rushed to his room. He was now three years old and could access the ComLink. He tapped on the gem embedded in the ring and a blue screen was projected from the ring. There were various menus on the screen. Most of them were highlighted in gray and they could not be opened. Tianshang Long found the library option and tapped on it. The first book on the list was: The Warriors of the Elemental World.
He clicked the download option.
In Tianshang Long's mental energy sea, a figure could be seen sitting in the lotus position. The figure was very faint and was flickering like a candle in the wind, about to go out at any time. After wearing the ring given by Grandma Ming his mental energy sea was suppressed. He could not form a mental energy form after that. Moreover controlling a single mental energy stand was very difficult for him just after the suppression. After three years under the suppression of the ring, he could only control 5 mental energy stand. It felt like swimming in a river with weights tied to one's feet. He had kept practicing in hopes of surprising Grandma Ming.
Aaron's [In case you forgot he's the new A.I.] illusionary figure came into view and he said in his robotic voice, "Master there is an inflow of information, should it be allowed in your mental energy sea?"
"Yes, scan and analyze it. Compile the useful data. Also, there will be more incoming information. Do the same for that information. Do it as soon as possible."
"Yes, master", replied Aaron.
Tianshang Long exited his mental energy sea and then browsed through the library. There were only a few books available in the library.
The books were as follows:
1. The Warriors of the Elemental World
2. The Beasts of the Elemental World (Vol 1 & 2)
3. The Herbs of the Elemental World (Vol 1 & 2)
4. The Clans of the Elemental World
5. The History of the Elemental World.
6. The Sacred and Divine Physiques of the Elemental World.
Tianshang Long downloaded all the books. Aaron then notified that it would take 1 hour to analyze and compile the data. Tianshang left his room to spend more time with his parents and his sister. He knew that his sister would go away for training. He did not understand why Grandma Ming said to him what she said. He felt that he would find all the answers in an hour.

Inside Tianshang Long's mental energy sea, an eye-shaped object was pulsating with green light. Suddenly the light dimmed as a dragon-shaped figure became visible. The figure shivered as a voice rang out in his mind, "You'll guide him, don't have any other thought unless you want to die..."
The voice was of the A.I. Rachel.

An hour passed quickly and Tianshang Long entered his room once again, unaware of the changes in his mental sea. He sits in the lotus position and enters his mental energy sea again. Floating above the sea, a figure became visible once again. Tianshang Long's 21-year-old body with spectacles on looked every bit the scientist he was in his previous life. Aaron's illusionary figure became visible again and he bowed to Tianshang Long and said, " Master, the information has been compiled. Do you want the data to be transferred directly to your mind?"
A bit confused he asks Aaron, "What do you mean by transferring the data to my mind?"
"Master, if the data is transferred to your mind, you don't need to read and remember it. It will forever be in your mind as memories and you can access it directly", replied Aaron respectfully.
Understanding this Tianshang Long was filled with happiness. It was like having an eidetic memory.
"You can begin the transfer", said Tianhang Long excitedly.
Commencing transfer...
Transfer complete...
Tianshang Long felt that his head would explode as he realized that the amount of information was too much for his mind. By the time he could panic and do something about him he lost his consciousness.

The dragon-shaped figure looked up through Tianshang Long's mental energy sea and sighed ruefully. He cursed his fate to be stuck inside such a weird mental energy sea and then transformed from a dragon to human shape figure. The human figure was dressed in black robe whose border was embroidered with golden-red lightening. The dragon transformed into an old man who had long white hair and beard.
He flew through the mental sea and saw the flickering figure of Tianshang Long. Tianshang Long had a painful expression on his face though he was not conscious. Seeing this the old man frowned, and touched Tianshang Long's forehead with a pointy finger.
He shook his head after touching Tianshang's forehead.
He muttered, "First I was sealed by that scary looking eye and now I have to take care of this kid whose mental energy sea is going to collapse at any moment. What shitty luck."
Sighing again, the old man touched Tianshang Long's forehead again. His finger was surrounded by a black and golden-red light mixed in a spiral.

The inflow of the memory was like a cascading waterfall in Tianshang Long's mind. He could not control it in any way.
"F**k that stupid A.I.", cursed Tianshang Long.
Suddenly the memory inflow stopped. He felt the memories moving in slow motion. He realized that someone was helping him. He thought it was Grandma Ming and realizing that it was an opportunity and he immersed himself in those memories.

The old man withdrew his finger, his figure looked pale and a little blurry than before. He sighed with a sad look on his face. He sat down in a lotus position, keeping an eye Tianshang Long's mental figure. The painful look on his face had disappeared from his face.
Suddenly, the old man felt something and he looked under the surface of Tianshang's mental energy sea towards the eye-shaped object. His eyes brightened as a stream of dragon-shaped energy merged with his figure. His blurry figure became more solid than before. Realising this he bowed towards the eye-shaped object and the continued to watch over Tianshang Long's figure.

Inside Tianshang Long's mind, a stream of information was being embedded in form of memories.
The information was as follows:
1. The Warriors of the Elemental World.
There are three types of Warriors in the Elemental World.
>Body Refiners:
These warriors train their bodies to reach the epitome of the Martial Path. They use precious resources and minerals to refine their bodies.
The levels of the Martial Path of the Body Refiners are:
- Bronze Body Warrior
- Iron Body Warrior
- Jade Body Warrior
- Diamond Body Warrior
There was no mention of any further levels.
>Battle Warriors:
These warriors inhale the Battle Qi in the Elemental World and by the understanding of the Force they breakthrough to the next levels.
The levels of the Martial Path of the Battle Warriors are:
- Battle Soldier
- Battle Captain
- Battle Commander
- Battle General

>Elemental Warriors:
After the Awakening at the age of ten, 1 out of 100 children may have special meridians that help them cultivate the elemental energy. They cultivate by inhaling the elemental energy and understanding the elements of the Elemental World.
The levels of the Martial Path of the Elemental Warriors are:
- Elemental Foundation Stage
- Elemental Advanced Stage
- Elemental Professional Stage
- Elemental Master Stage.
There was no mention of any further stages.
There are special warriors that are both body refiners and elemental warriors. After their Awakening, they can refine their bodies with their elemental energy making them stronger than someone at the same level as them. Warriors with special body physique are all this type of cultivator.
There are special warriors which cultivate both the Battle Qi and Elemental energy. These warriors are called Dualists. Dualists are very rare in the Elemental World. They can boost their Battle Qi with their Elemental Energy.
There are special warriors who cultivate both the Battle Qi and Elemental Energy and also they refine their bodies. These warriors are known as Zeno Warriors.
The mental energy proficiency is divided on the basis of the number of mental energy strand which can be controlled.
> Basic Level 0-9 strands
> Intermediate level 10-49 strands
> Advanced level 50-199 strands
> Professional level 200-999 strands
Increasing the control over mental energy is very important as mental energy directs the Battle Qi and the Elemental energy inside a warrior.
Increasing mental energy sea using precious herbs and pills is also important.
Most importantly:
The children of the Elemental World start their training at the age of 3. The training from 3-10 years of age is used to build the foundation. The stronger the foundation the higher the new generation can progress in the Martial Path.
Tianshang Long after going through all this information felt that his world has turned upside down. He remembered that his sister has a Sacred Body and now he realized that she was destined to be a strong warrior. He realized that this also meant she could be in great danger as she progressed through the Martial Path.
He now realized why Grandma Ming said that he would become a burden on his sister. Tianshang Long knew now that to protect his sister he would have to step onto the Martial Path. He sighed, laughing at his thought of living peacefully in this world.
Tianshang Long was determined that he would make sure that his sister would not face any problems on her journey of the Martial Path.
He stopped thinking of the unnecessary stuff and immersed himself into absorbing those memories.
