Thirteen Dimension Alliance

"I'm called Professor Lurk, I think you already know about it. What is your name?"

Hiro responded quickly, "I'm Hiro, nice to meet you, Professor."

"Nice to meet you too, Hiro. Now, we are going to start the lesson."

Hiro wasn't going to pay any attention to the lesson, as he had no interest.

He needs to earn more experience, so the options he was: killing wild animals or beating scumbags.

He didn't know if this world has monsters, if it has, it would be more convenient if the monsters were near this kingdom, this way, he could level up easily.

Opening his system, he went to check the things he wanted to unlock next. Then, upon remembering the voice from last night, he was a little scared. Who wouldn't be scared?

"Cough~ Is anybody here?" He actually was not waiting for any reply, he just casually asked to make sure nobody was there.

"Yes..."

Hearing the response, Hiro shivered. "Who...?"

"Look behind you." The deep voice came from right behind him.

Turning his head slowly with eyes closed, Hiro was trembling all over. Opening his eyes, he actually saw nothing. "Where are you!"

"Look above you now..." The voice sounded as if it was just playing with Hiro.

Looking up, Hiro didn't say anything again. At this moment, Hiro was not feeling scared, rage took control of his body. "Damn it! Come out, you bastard!"

"Okay." The voice said in a monotonous way.

"Okay... I can't see yo-" When Hiro looked in front of him, his heart almost stopped beating. A strange black thing was almost touching his nose. Hiro immediately jumped back and asked, "What the hell are you?!"

The black mass with tiny eyes was just looking at him, not answering.

"Why are you here?!" Hiro was ready to fight, even though he didn't know if the thing was here to fight or not.

Professor Lurk always gives his all in the lessons, he was respected and a hardworking man. But, when he sees someone no giving him the respect he wants, he turns into a different person.

Seeing that Hiro was sleeping in the first lesson, not giving him any respect at all, he was going mad.

"Cough! Hiro! Wake! Up!"

"Tell me, who are you!" Hiro was feeling very suspicious, how could this thing be inside the system, or is the system controlled by this thing?

"It's not the time for this, you should wake up."

"What are you sayi-" Suddenly, a loud noise came and Hiro felt as if his ears were going to explode. "What...!"

Hiro snapped out of his sleep just to see Professor Lurk in front of him with an angry face.

"Hiro! You shouldn't do this! When the class is over, come to my room, I need to discipline you!"

Now knowing what to do, Hiro didn't say anything, he just let it go.

Thinking about the thing inside the system, or should I say, inside himself, he was quite familiar with that voice, he just couldn't remember from where it is.

"Proceeding with our lesson, previously, I said that the Dimension Alliance has in total thirteen domains. We are, obviously, in one of them. But, this doesn't mean that we can actually go to the others domains."

Reaching this point, Hiro became more interested.

"The only people who can travel to other dimensions are the strongest and people from Glassi Country, as they are very near to the dimension edge." Professor Lurk paused for a second and then continued, "As we all know, this dimension is called the 'Glass Sword' dimension, its name came from the Glassi Country, they were the first to make contact with the other dimensions, this is why the name was set based on that country. The thirteen dimensions are the Horus Dimension, which is the one who started all this; The Junlai Dimension, the first dimension that made an alliance with the Horus Dimension; Then we have the Matrix Dimension, there's not much info about them, all I know is that they have advanced... things? I guess the word was technology; The fourth dimension is ours, the Glassi Dimension, I explained that before;"

"The fifth dimension is called Red Dust, it seems obvious, but the entire world is made of red dust; The sixth..."

Introducing the twelve dimensions, it was the time for the last one.

"The thirteenth dimension is called Earth, it's a mysterious domain. Earth joined the alliance a thousand years ago, but we've lost contact with them thirty years ago. No one knows what really happened, maybe that world was destroyed."

At this point, Hiro was utterly stunned.

"They know Earth?! So, I'm just in another dimension! If this is the case, I didn't die on Earth, but was actually transported to another planet!'

"Now, even though you all are currently learning magic, magic is not the only method to become... hmm... strong. In the other dimensions is said that people can fly without magic, they use the thing called technology. Other methods are always welcome. Some other dimensions can split mountains with the bare hands, without the use of magic, too."

The students became surprised.

"With the bare hands? They are just rumors, how can someone do this?"

"Yeah, and that thing about technology? It's bullshit!"

Everybody was discussing if the things Professor Lurk said were true or not, the only one who kept his silence was Hiro.

'If they talk about technology in this world without technology, it must be true. If so, I can go back to Earth!'

It's not that he didn't like this world, but the things he left in that world made him feel bad. His parents and friends were the most important thing to him, of course he would miss them.

"Well, enough of the Alliance. Now we are going to talk about..."

The things Professor Lurk said after that didn't catch Hiro's attention at all, the only thing he thought now was: 'How can I go back to Earth?'
