Zhang Li, second young master of the great Zhang family. Unlike his reliable and strong elder brother or his bright and tomboyish younger sister. He can not feel the exterior Qi.
besides cultivating his body with his inner Qi he could only pursue knowledge.
hoping to find ways to contribute to his clan.
He shows no reaction, even when people express obvious disregard when he speaks.
He believes it can't be helped since he has no great achievements.
And decided not to voice his opinions until he does
so, he buried himself even more in his studies.
the always gentle, caring and lively youth now rarely leaves his room
Until he chanced upon a book. Called "knowledge through experience". wich while in a coma. letting him live and watch as dozens of different lives from their beginning to their ending, pass before him as a mere spectator. he witnessed the birth and death of the strongest to the weakest! commoners and kings! merchants and nobles!
Now, after witnessing so much, what kind of life will he pursue?
what will he do?
Just found/read this now. Very nice plot setting and world set up. While there were the normal amount of grammar mistakes writing in a non-native language often have, the story itself (setting, plot elements, world building, character development, cast, etc) is very solid and well built. The author gave a good sense of how/where the novel was going to go along with just the right amount of foreshadowing of both future and more immediate conflicts that could occur. Hope they come back to this at some point, but either way wanted to express appreciation for what has already been written.
I really enjoy this author’s writing, I truly hope they pick this tale back up. Even better if they could tie the world off somehow with that from Vengeance like Lust. The church in this could line up with the light sect etc.
