Kicked Him Out Of The Room

He looked like he wanted to say something, but couldn't other than look at me with sad eyes.

"Sigh, Zhao Ling, I can't believe you've already seduced another man."

"What do you mean by that?"

"Your a fox. Sigh, who cares... Anyways, I'll go to your place when you leave the temple. Make sure you take off your mask. It doesn't work with the toxins. Anyways, I'll take my leave now."

"Understood. Your Highness, are you excited to see my real face?"

"I am, but I'm worried. Worried that something may go wrong."

I knew exactly why he worried, but in order to calm him down, I hugged him and said, "As long as you are protecting me, I'll be safe. Don't worry."

"Alright. I'll protect you with my life."

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

When the sun was high in sky, I finally woke up.

"Sister, you finally woke up. How was your meeting with the master?"

With a sad smile, "It was good."

"Is something wrong? Sister, you're not speaking in the same tone you always do."

"Hao'er, when we go back, don't be scared of me, please?"

"What is sister talking about? Why would I be scared? Nobody has been nicer to me than sister."

Knocks were heard on the door and then it opened.

"Your Highness, what are you doing here?"

"I made a promise to protect you with my life, I to accomplish it."

"Eh? There's no need to do it now. Liuxian hasn't began my curing process yet."

"You don't understand me at all... I want to spend more time with you."

"Your Highness..." What am I suppose to do? Should I accept it or should I not? If I do, I would be getting hurt by the curse, if I don't I would hate myself. "Well, since you can't officially start until we are back to the mansion, you have to protect me discreetly only for now. Shao, the prince has to accompany Madam on her morning walk, send him to Madam."

"Um..."

I shouldn't have asked his servant... I pushed Prince Wu out of my room and told him, "You're not allowed to visit me until the day we go back, do you understand? If you dare to visit me, you are never going to be able to see my face again until the day I get this stupid curse out."

Ling'er, why are you so uncaring of me? Are you trying to turn me into Buddha?

Zhao Ling who ignorant of the prince's thoughts closed the doors on him and left to the temple's garden. Naturally knowing that it was Liuxian who designed this, it was indefinitely going to be beautiful.

I reached the garden and saw that Prince Wu was already there accompanied by his best friend, while Madam was chatting away with her best friend, Madam Shu. I had no one to hang out with until I saw Ling Rui following Madam Ling. It seems like another battle is happening here. Well, let's just see what she has in store.

"Hmph, I can't believe they actually allowed such lowly creatures here. Does the Wu family not know any tradition at all? They are going to marry my Ling'er, yet they actually dare to bring their concubines here."

"Mom, stop it. Your embarrassing me by saying that. I have no problems with it. I can use this chance to get along better with the other people I'm going to live with."

Sigh, thank goodness Madam Ling has a daughter who knows how to think or else I would have made her so much more embarrassed than what she did right now.

Why is Ling Rui going to talk to me first? Wait, I just remembered, she said I was someone trustworthy.

"Concubine Xiu, I'm Ling Rui, you can call me Sis Rui though. We are going to be in one family after all."

"Call me Sis Xiu, instead. I'm not used to those honorifics with someone who I'm going to be close with."

"Hehe... So we're considered friends already?"

"If you want it to. It would be nice to have someone I can trust in and speak comfortably, even if it is my husband's wife."

"You have such a high tolerance."

"Not at all, I just find that you are someone very trusting. I have no friend other than Hao'er at the mansion, so it's great to make new friends."

"What are you doing here? Is Sis Xiu also taking a short walk?"

"Yes, the master of this temple surely knows how to live peacefully. I've always been in love with the architect of his gardens."

"You must know the master of this garden to be able to say such things. Nobody has seen his face before and nobody even knew that it was him who designed this garden until you said it now."

"Ah... I forgot. Hehe... I guess when you know someone closely, you tend to forget that not all people knows that person."

"So, you do?"

"Yes. I just met him yesterday. I had a request to ask of him, that's why you saw me in the praying hall."

"Wait, that man was the master of this temple?"

"Yes."

"I didn't even make a connection! I thought he was a friend or relative of yours!"

"No, that's not it. He is my friend, but also my personal doctor. My master hired him to take care of my sickness."

"Sis Xiu, you have a sickness? Is it a disease or is it poisoning?"

"Hehe, don't worry, it's already gone."

"Then, what did you request of him yesterday?"

"I asked him to find a way for me to make contact to me master. I want to learn something that only my master knows of."

"What is it?"

"I want to learn the ability of floating in air and breathing underwater. My master is a god, so I'm sure, he knows these things. What is Sis Rui doing here?"

"Haha... Mom thought it was a good idea for me and the prince to chat up, so she dragged me here. But I quite like talking to you instead."

"I wonder if you can chat up to the prince. It doesn't seem like he wants to make any conversation with anybody right now."

We looked over to where Prince Wu was and saw that he was glaring at us. Specifically, he was glaring at me, but I would never admit that. I had made him angry yesterday and just this morning, too. He probably wants to lock me up in a cage or something right now. Just thinking about it made her want to laugh.

Zhao Ling's thoughts weren't far too off the chart. She was right. But unfortunately, she'll go back to this thought and never laugh again,

Ling'er just you wait. The day that we come back, you won't be able to go outside at all. You'll be stuck in my house and in my room.
