Dark Side

I was through the hallway, stopping in the middle of a corridor. I confusedly watched as the maid stood in front of a flat piece of wall, placing her hands on it. Surprisingly, as the maid pushed the wall, a double door materialized as it swung opened. I could not help but start sweating as I cannot understand why they must have all this tedious invisible doors. How do they even sense where they are?

Strolling into the rectangular chamber, I saw Lucy lying comfortably on a floating couch. She winked at me as she saw me walk in, lazily indicating for me to sit at a couch that floated up next to her couch. I went over and sat on the soft couch, and it felt like I was sitting on a couch that was anchored to the ground. I looked over at Lucy as my little brother got excited from remembering that exquisite artwork that he was able to admire last night. I watched Lucy wave her hands as trays of exquisite food floated up to us. I can't help but wonder what the point of the maid was.

"Eat, I shall be bringing you to a gathering soon," Lucy said in a lazy voice.

I put in effort to pull my sight away from the beauty as I distracted myself with the delicious food. I could not help but secretly steal glances at Lucy's petite mouth that was slowly nibbling away at the food, fantasizing the thought of her eating a certain sausage.

As if noticing my gaze, Lucy giggled then seductively said, "If you're obedient today, tonight I may give you a ... treat."

I could not help but get excited, frantically nodding as I ravished the food, hoping that night would come sooner so I could ravish the treat. After we finished eating, Lucy brought me out of the mansion, and we took the hover board to the spot we stepped out of the elevator from. We took the elevator that rose up from the smooth ground, and boarded the hover car once more as it zoomed away into the dark tunnel once more.

Once again, I was greeted by the sight of many traveling vehicles as the car came above ground once more. I'm surprised there isn't traffic at all, but I'm pretty sure it's regulated somehow as that was already something that was nearly possible back in my time. Although I tried to distract myself with the sight from outside, the warmth from the hand that was lecturing my little brother still caused me to pant. I tried my best to look away from those curious eyes of Lucy as she was getting to know my little brother more, but the beast was raging, and I knew I could not restrain myself any longer! Except, before I could get my hands on wonderland, straps appear once more, strapping my to my seat as I could only watch my little brother shiver as it is ready to release the knowledge gained by the lecture.

Unfortunately, Lucy was one of those teachers who like stopping at that climax of the lecture. She said that she doesn't want to dirty her car. Although I stared at the beautiful mouth that could engulf much knowledge, all I received was a 'you deserve it for being so rough last night'.

As my little brother slowly calmed down over time, the car finally entered one of the four pillars inside the dome. Then, we got off once again, and took an elevator upwards. I saw myself passing many identical stations that seemed to be launching large, grey pill-shaped vehicles into the transparent loop. The elevator stopped at a station at a high level as I noticed that this station was different than the others as the vehicle was colored pure white. Lucy pulled me over to one end of the vehicle as it opens upwards, revealing a small, rectangular room that came with a bar, sofas, and bed. We sat down as the door closed, then the vehicle shot off like a bullet, rendering blurry scenes outside; however, I was still able to sit stably as there were no inertia that offset my balance at all. Drinks naturally floated up to us on a platter when we ordered from the bar, and Lucy drank wine brewed by my little brother once more, comparing it to the wine brewed by the bar. Her naive thoughts could not help but excite my little brother over and over, but eventually we reached our destination.

We left the vehicle and took the elevator down again, but when I stepped out of the elevator this time, instead of a hover car station waiting, I saw that I was directly within the dome area. A hover board glided up to us as I shamelessly took the back seat, keeping the lady from falling off by having a firm grip on her body. As we flew into the air, I could not help not be surprised as instead of roads, I saw what seems to be layers of walls and domes, all surrounding a enormous metallic pyramid in the center. The metal walls would open up gaps as the hover board neared, granting us access into the deeper levels. As we got closer to the pyramid, I noticed large hover vans that seemed to be delivering humans to the pyramid, where they lined up in single file, entering a dark tunnel that seemed to head downwards. I could not help but become curious as to who they are as they looked very depressed, if not fearful, while some had a zealous look on their faces.

Noticing my curiosity, Lucy explained with a disdainful tone,"Oh, them? Those are the zealous believers of God who will be offered up as sacrifice."

"S-sacrifice?" I could not help but stutter.

"Mmhmm, our God needs sacrifices to use in holy experiments that would further enhance our lives and the world. So, every day, sacrifices would be chosen either randomly or by the Committee in order to fulfill the quota of 10,000 humans. Don't worry this number is split between the large population from many cities throughout the world, so it's very minuscule. Of course you should have no worries because as long as you obediently stay by my side, you shall not end up with them," Lucy replied with a smirk as she noticed my pale face.

"E-experiments? Where are they going? Will they come back?" I could not help but ask as cold sweat broke out on my back.

"Come back?" Lucy's mood dimmed, "Unfortunately, I do not know where they go, but I know that they never come back, my mother ... never did."

As the hover board brought us through a gap that opened on the pyramid, I could not help but hug the moody Lucy tighter to comfort her as I realized that this world along with its so called God is not as benevolent and dream-like as it seemed.
