Can't I Die Normally?

"Name?"

Jun raised an eyebrow. His name was printed in big bold letters on the application form, but this man still had to ask him his name? Was his name...that normal? Well, Jun wanted to live normally so there was no other way but have a normal name.

His family was a normal family from the countryside, and it was normal for the children to go study in the city, and normally they will come back and manage the farm. What was the use of studying in the city then? Jun didn't know what went on in the village elderly's minds...but hey, if it was normal, then it must be nice right?

"Mie, Mie Jun," he answered, and the man inputted the name into the computer.

"Sorry Mr. Mie, but your name is not in the database," the receptionist shook his head, "Are you sure you're really an applicant for this university?"

Jun had gotten a Bachelor's Degree, and he wanted to take a Master's Degree. Well, his parents did say that it was fine to go and study more. Not like whatever he studied would be used in the farm. The farms in the village was also quite easy to take care of. Mie Jun had done it for years before he left the village.

"I am an applicant," Jun replied, "My name is Mie Jun."

"But there's no Jun in the database, I have to disappoint you Mr. Mie," the receptionist said, shooing Jun away. Jun felt like it was normal. When he applied for the Bachelor's Degree, the same thing happened during his application.

"Mr. Receptionist," Jun spoke up, "are you sure you typed my name correctly?"

The receptionist felt insulted as he turned the monitor around and pointed at the screen, "This is how your name is written right? I know I'll never be wr-"

"No, it's the wrong Jun," Jun pointed, "My name is written like this." Jun took a small piece of paper and a pen before writing his name on it and showed it to the receptionist. The receptionist blushed in shame as he typed in the correct name.

"You're still not here," the receptionist turned smug.

"Oh, I applied for Master's Degree, not Bachelor's degree," Jun quicly said. The receptionist immediately labeled Jun as 'shameless'. His eyes burning with rage as he changed the database to the Master's Degree database.

"Yes-yes, Mr. Mie, you're in," the receptionist wanted Jun to quickly go away, "You applied for the Enterpreneur Department?"

"Correct," Jun nodded.

"Okay..., then your building is building D, and your teacher is Mr. Yu," the receptionist gave him a card, "until your student identification card's here, this is your identification card. Your points will be kept in here."

Jun nodded and silently left the main building. He carefully kept his card in his breastpocket as he walked towards building D. When he applied for his Bachelor's Degree, he was also sent to building D. All average talents were sent to building D-F. For him to be located to building D meant that he's the cream of the crop...in the average section.

Well, it was normal. His teacher from his Bachelor's Degree was also was Mr. Yu's brother, also called Mr. Yu, but with a junior at the back. The two brothers taught subjects very similar to each other. They were really two peas in a pod.

Scratch that, Mr. Yu's thin while Mr. Yu Junior was more pudgy than his elder brother!

Arriving at building D, he suddenly saw a bug. And annoying bug.

"Hey-hey-hey~ If it isn't the little country boy Jun~," the bug said, "You're sent to building D again~ How nice~"

Jun merely glanced at him.

This was...normal...

"Hey you! Don't ignore me!" the bug grabbed Jun's shoulder, "You didn't hear you cow dung? I got located at building B!"

'Cow dung?' Jun thought as he sniffed his sleeves, 'weird, I remember taking a shower before I went back to the city.'

"You pig mud! Listen to me!" the bug grabbed the back of Jun's head, "Get over here now! Hey you stupid chicken feces!"

Jun simply stared at the angry face of the bug, 'He really is stupid, he can't come up with an insulting name not related to poop.'

"You dog poop!"

'As I said.'

"Aaaargh! You're looking for death you cow dung!" the bug threw Jun across the hall. Honestly, the bug didn't mean to do that. He didn't want to be jailed for murder. The bug quickly ran towards Jun and checked his body. But Jun was simply 'normal', so he had no superpower or whatsoever.

In the end he died.

And when his soul was about to leave his body, he had a normal thought in his mind...

'Why can't I die normally? This is too flashy! I will be in the headlines tomorrow!'
