"Brother Mu! Boss! I found some people we could auction off! One is a young lad and the other one is an old guy " Said Yang Gu to the two people. "Oh? Good job finding them mister Gu" said their Leader. Yang Mu turned to look at the two figures and noticed something shining on the neck of the young lad. It was at this moment Yang Mu rejoiced. "Aha! It seems that we've hit our luck this time! I can see a shining amulet in that young man!" Yang Mu cheered after spotting the amulet on Xiao Long. "Yi? That's definitely our chance! Let's go boys!" Said their leader hurriedly. The group of people who were discussing are human traffickers! They auction people for slavery to gain profit. It was not a surprise since this was a world that came from madness.

It was a matter of time before they have spotted someone to auction with. As their sight could see far and wide. Also, it's not a surprise if people's senses were strengthened in this era. But never did they knew that they were about to unleash an formidable foe.

"They're coming! I could sense them! We can either face them or hide. You do it according to your plan, I'll just follow" God of Sloth told Xiao Long to do as he pleased this time, he would not meddle with what will happen to Xiao Long as he was trying to test Xiao Long's abilities. Also, God of Sloth was really curious on how Xiao Long would handle this kind of situation.

"Alright, first let's hide!" Xiao Long told God of Sloth to hide. They moved from their original place and went off to find a place somewhere that could let them hide. It was a little bit sandy from where they left off. So Xiao Long took a branch from a bush to erase their tracks and keep their footsteps from being trailed. There was not a single clue left for the thugs to follow. After walking a little while, Xiao Long have found a large tree filled with vines hanging from the top of the arm-like branches that dropped and spread to the ground. "!!! I can save more time with this!" Xiao Long was delighted upon seeing the vines. "What? How does a vine make you that much happy?" God of Sloth seriously asked. Until he suddenly had an idea "W..wait, y..you have a vine fetish don't you?" God of Sloth pointed his index finger at Xiao Long. "No you idiot! I'm going to lay a trap for this one!" Xiao Long blatantly denied. "Oh. So does this mean you're not going to use your powers?" God of Sloth only teased Xiao Long . Though it left him curious as to why Xiao Long still wouldn't use his powers to confront his enemy.

"Before I tell you that, let me show you a few tricks of mine" Xiao Long gave out a good laugh and replied with confidence. Xiao Long didn't sit idly by and started to pull the vines one by one until the strain from pulling tore the vines mid-way. He then searched and found two trees that is only three feet apart from each other. Xiao Long spared no effort and began climbing one of the tree. By finding a branch that is large enough, he tied the vine and went onto the other tree. And just like previously, he tied the vine firmly into it, making it look like a swing. Xiao Long then found a medium size boulder that is one meter in diameter. It was not far from the two trees and so he push-rolled the boulder so it can be tied up on the vines. He then made a make-shift lifter throwing a vine from a nearby branch so he could lift the boulder. Xiao Long tried raising the boulder with great effort, as he barely pulled through. Using the last vine he collected as a lifting device, he went to climb another tree not too far off the front of the swing. Standing the large branch from the other tree, he jumped with the vine and used his wait to pull the boulder high up in the air at 30ft. Finally he tied the end of the vine just like an easy loose knot on the same tree he was on. With only a soft pull, it will quickly release it. , he went back and got a smaller vine to make it as the trigger. Now he can easily trigger this trap with ease. "Hah.. hah.. This will do" Xiao Long felt really tired from climbing and rushing down the trees and finally hanging the boulder to a fixed place. After the trap was finished, he covered the two trees with bushes on their roots on the sides only leaving the middle section the only path open. Not so far off from where Xiao Long was making the trap, the group of three had arrived at the place where Xiao Long and the old man was last seen.

"Boss, they're not here anymore! " Yang Gu announced. " Hm judging by the time that we had come here, they must've noticed us! But they shouldn't be far off from here. Scatter around boys! Don't fret, they're just commoners after all!" The leader Ju Ge ordered the two. Soon they scattered around the forest in pursuit of their soon-to-be victims. It was not a moment long ago, Xiao Long have already finished his trap and he was only waiting for his pursuers to show himself.

After a ony few breaths, a figure suddenly appeared. It was Yang Mu! As Yang Mu noticed a large tree filled with vines, he walked around it to inspect the tree. He spotted that the vines on the tree have been cut-off recently. As he was inspecting the vines, his gaze swept over his line of vision and there he noticed on the ground before him that there were a few footsteps leading at the towards back of the large tree. "Aha! I've found you!" Soon, Yang Mu phased his way to the vines circling his way around at the back."Go hide and hang on to this trigger for me!" Earlier on, Xaio Long instructed God of Sloth to hide from a nearby bush and grab-hold onto the trigger. Xiao Long purposely left a trail so that he could lead his pursuers in the direction that he wanted them to be.

It was not long Yang Mu appeared at the scene afterwards. He only found Xiao Long but never bothered with the old man. Since he knew Xiao Long was wearing an eye-catching amulet. " I've caught you now! Now don't you dare run!" Yang Mu yelled, he threatened Xiao Long as he brandish his scimitar towards him. Yang Mu gave off an aura of mixed killing intent and chilling luster. Seeing this kind of face, Xiao Long acted scared to the point that he look as if he was going to pee his pants soon.

"NOOOO! Please spare me! I don't want to die!!" As if Xiao Long was so afraid, he was running like a wimp with tail between his legs heading towards the narrow center of the two trees where his trap lines in wait. "Brat! I told you not to run! I'll cut your 'JJ' once I've caught you!" Yang Mu soon chased Xiao Long while throwing threats on him. Because Yang Mu was three levels above Xiao Long, he caught up sooner with Xiao Long's silhouette who was already at the center of the two trees. He rapidly tried to grab Xiao Long on his worn-out collar. Xiao Long heard Yang Mu's footsteps closing in. He quickly rolled out to his right and cried out "Pull it now!". God of Sloth heard his cry and soon pulled out the trigger...

"WHOOSH!" The boulder came rushing down swinging at a very fast pace! Accumulating it's acceleration in every second.

Yang Mu wasn't aware of what's coming. His gaze was solely focused on capturing Xiao Long. He was greedy enough to forget the clues and believe that Xiao Long was just an easy prey.

"I've caught yo-" Yang Mu halted what he was saying as he saw a rushing boulder appeared suddenly in front of him "Bang!" Yang Mu could've easily seen through the boulder but because he was so focused on Xiao Long, it was a moment too late! The boulder collided with him and crushed his abdomen! The strong impact threw Yang Mu ten meters away before hitting hard on the ground. Yang Mu's pupils have turned white due to the pain he felt. His body convulsed while he was laying on the ground. His blade flew not too far of a distance after Yang Mu lost his grip from the impact. Xiao Long soon stood up and can't help but give out a smirking smile at his victim. He quickly went and drew the scimitar from the ground.

It was at this moment, A figure suddenly appeared in front of Yang Mu. While clutching onto Yang Mu's scimitar, Xiao Long stared fiercely at poor Mu's convulsing figure and said "You're already dead!" Xiao Long shouted as he raised the scimitar and stabbed through Yang Mu's chest. "Splat!" Blood have splatted through Xiao Long's clothes. Even though Yang Mu was 3 layers above Xiao Long, it was not a matter of strength but toughness when it comes to receiving a stab from a sharp weapon. But Yang Mu couldn't possibly defend anymore and even he can still defend, what use will it be when it comes to blocking a scimitar with his bare hands? He's only at the fifth layer of Mortal Body Tier!

Yang Mu gasped in pain until he drew his last breath. Finally, Yang Mu have finally died. "Not bad brat, you actually have a few tricks on your sleeve!" God of Sloth had witnessed the scene and came out of hiding. He scanned with his gaze towards the blooded stains on Xiao Long and inwardly, he thought 'How could this brat still stay calm even when he killed someone?' God of Sloth couldn't help but get more curious about Xiao Long. While holding his chin, God of Sloth considered to himself that Xiao Long was not normie after all.
