Training Part 2

Xia Tian staggeringly walked towards his tent, it is the first time in his life fighting like this, using all of his energy, every part of his body is aching and even walking is being difficult for him, but there is an unknown sense of satisfaction after completing the training.

He went inside his tent and collapsed on the floor. After some unknown time he woke up from his sleep, he can feel every muscle in his body is twitching, since his childhood, he never pushed his body to its utmost limits, it is pitch dark inside the tent, he gritted his teeth and took out a crystal lamp and lighted it.

The inside of the tent is very simple, there is some place for him to sleep and the remaining place is used for placing his things. As he glanced around the tent with his crystal lamp he found a new set of training outfit, some medicines, and ten spirit stones. The spirit stones are for killing the magical beast in the training and can be used for his cultivation.

He took the medicines and applied it to his wounds, he bandaged his arm which is deeply wounded. This is the second time he got such serious injury after he escaped from the silver hoofed rhino. After properly applying medicine to all his wounds he sat cross-legged and by closing his eyes he thought about the whole battle he experienced today.

Today's training enabled him to get the clear understanding about his cultivation method and martial techniques, he is now clear that only by fighting he will be able to fastly understand the principles underlying in the cultivation method.

'grr grr'

Xia Tian stomach growled indicating that it is very hungry, he glanced around the tent to see if food also provided to him just as medicines are provided, but to his disappointment, there is nothing in the tent. He did not bring the scorpion meat as he felt nauseating just by seeing the green blood it had, thinking about eating the scorpion all the hair in his body stood on its end.

After a moment he heard some sounds from outside, he curiously went outside to see what Shen Xue is doing as she is the only person other than him here.

Shen Xue is bringing some dried wooden sticks from the forest to roast the wolf meat that she obtained by killing today, in training. She did not suffer any major wounds in the training with magical beasts today, there are only some severe rashes and she applied provided medicine on it, seeing Xia Tian walking over she waved her hand and smiled at him.

" it seems you also had it easy today, how was your battle experience"

Xia Tian dumbfounded at Shen Xue words and replied. "what easy, I thought I almost met god Yama in the hell today"

Shen Xue is puzzled by Xia Tian reply, she can clearly see only a single deep wound on him. She asked bewilderedly, "it is clear from your wounds that you did not experience real life and death battle today, which and how many beasts did you fight in the training today"

"I killed ten level one silver hooked black armored scorpions today," Xia Tian said proudly.

Seeing his proud expression Shen Xue laughed and said, "don't become complacent with your achievements, it is only beginning today and I don't think it is real life and death training, be prepared you may have to face tougher enemies than today in the following days."

"What!!! Today itself I thought I will die due to exhaustion and my muscles are still aching now."

"if your standing alright now, itself is showing that it is not life and death training, from what I know in real life and death training if you fight with all your strength you will just leave with a single thread of life, at the end of training. Today is just to asses your combat level, depending on it your enemies will be changed and difficulty will be increasing as your strength progress."

"what the hell is this training!!!" Xia Tian yelled loudly expressing his indignation.

"okay, you can yell after eating, come roast this wolf meat, I will go and bring the more dry wood," said Shen Xue laughingly.

Xia Tain with his dispirited expression went started cooking wolf meat. They both ate the wolf meat to their heart's content and as it is a level three beast it is very delicious.

While eating Xia Tian asked Shen Xue, "What about you, how many wolfs did you kill today?"

"I killed twenty-five level three black armored wolfs" Shen Xue replied casually.

Xia Tian lips twitched as heard the number, he never thought she would kill those many wolves whose strength is comparable to the fifth level of the nascent soul realm in a single day.

"Do you not fear death? You seem not at all perturbed by this training method"

"I do fear death, but only by life and death experience you can attain breakthroughs in the cultivation realm much faster"

"why do you want to improve your cultivation realm and strength that urgently, you can take it slowly and can also improve it by cultivating daily"

"if you want to protect your loved ones strength is important and also only if you have sufficient strength your words will be given some respect"

Xia Tian became silent for some time by Shen Xue words and retorted saying

"how you will be able to protect your loved ones if you die here?"

"it is better to die than not able to protect the ones you love and lead a tormenting life of revenge"

"what will happen to the ones you love after you die, did you not think about that?"

"it is their problem after I die, they have to survive somehow, I will die at peace thinking that I protected them till then"

Xia Tian did not have any words to push argument in his favor and he kept thinking what to say in order to counter it.

Shen Xue laughed seeing the serious thinking expression of Xia Tian and said, " I am fighting now not to protect someone but just for the thrill of it, I will feel immense sense of satisfaction after completing the training, breakthrough in cultivation is just a part of it and I have no pressure to improve my cultivation like you. The fact that you can't escape from this training won't change even if we argue about it till morning, just let it be and think only how to improve your strength and survive in this training"

Xia Tian let out a sigh and smiled at Shen Xue, "yes, you are right, I should concentrate on improving my strength and survive in this training."

They both went back to their tents after eating, in the following days, just as Shen Xue said training became much harder, on the third day Xia Tian collapsed on the floor just after teleporting to the platform his body drenched in blood. He got up at night and crawled towards his tent.

Days passed on as the cruel training continued, Shen Xue and Xia Tian meet once in three to five days to share their food and experience. After one month of bitter training, Xia Tian broke through to the sixth level of origin realm.

Xia Tian is quite excited after his breakthrough as he can use the crafted weapons after this, previously he is not able to easily kill the beast using his extraordinary cultivation method and battle technique due to his weapon limitation.

Now as he can use the crafted weapon his fighting strength also increased. But his joy lasted only for a single day. He killed easily all the magical beast by slashing at their weak points with his dagger and using his supreme heaven overwhelming glide technique but the day afterward the strength of the magical beasts in the training also greatly increased pushing his position to the normal.

After three months Xia Tian reached the ninth level of origin realm by perfectly tempering his muscles and bones through continuous battles. He is on the verge of breaking through to the vein opening realm.

If he cultivated without any battles, it would have surely taken him a lot of time to break through to the ninth level of origin realm but due to intensive training here, he is daily battered to the core, which enabled him to constantly temper his muscles and bones.

With constant battles the attitude of Xia Tian also began to change, now he is much more dashing than before, he did not cower to attack the magical beasts, he proactively went against them. Now he is not the Xia Tian who got reincarnated in this world from another world, his disposition is showing clear changes after three months of battle. Now he has a lot of self-confidence and not timid like before. He is gradually being integrated into this world where strength reigned supreme.

Today also Xia Tian teleported to the platform with his whole body soaked with blood which is a mixture of his blood and blood from the magical beasts. Unlike before he did not collapse on the floor but steadily walked towards the tent. But his flexibility and strength increased tremendously. He can fight three level nine origin realm magical beast without backing down simultaneously.

After cultivating for some time he took medicines and went towards the river to clean himself and applied medicines. He returned to his tent and changed into the new outfit and went to the center of the platform.

At the center of the platform, there are two big logs of wood to sit and with some dried wood piled in the middle, ready to roast the meat. It became common for Xia Tian and Shen Xue to meet every three days to share meat and their fighting experiences.

In the middle of this gruesome training, it is the only way for them to relax. They both bring the meat of the magical beast that they killed and deciding the meat which will be more delicious and talked about something while roasting and eating the meat. This also made their minds refresh and relax a bit.

Xia Tian also overcame his inferiority complex through continuous battle and began to make conversations with Shen Xue, they became good friends in these three months. After Shen Xue came they both ate the meat and returned to their rooms.

Today Xia Tian is adamant about breakthrough to the vein opening realm today, he just needs to open last of the twelve important acupoints which are behind his head. He has to be careful and should break through this acupoint by passing his profound qi through all the remaining eleven acupoints so it forms a complete cycle of circulation. By opening this acupoint he will able to open his profound vein.

A profound vein is present deep inside the body like nerves system it is spread all around the body like branches with its main branch at the center of the spinal cord. this veins are the basis for the martial cultivator to the store the qi and release it outside from the body.

The profound vein can also be called as meridians, before opening the vein opening realm the meridians are just used to circulate profound qi through all the body parts and thus completing the cultivation method. But after the vein opening realm, there will be a qualitative change in the meridians and them able to store the profound qi in the form of energy.

When this energy reaches its peak value after expanding veins to the maximum size one is able to form the sea of qi in his dantian which signifies the step of entering into the nascent soul realm.

The spiritual root is used in absorbing the energy from the surroundings but a profound vein is more important than spiritual root as it decides the nature of the body and the amount energy that can be stored in them. After vein opening realm profound vein becomes the basis of cultivation. There is a broad classification of profound veins and different rankings among them. The profound vein also defines the elemental affinity of the martial cultivator.

Xia Tian took a bunch of spirit stones into his hand and started absorbing the energy from them. He circulated profound qi all the way up to the twelfth acupoint and started attacking in order to open it. After one hour of rigorous absorbing of profound energy and attacking the twelfth acupoint it broke open giving a jolt to all the body of Xia Tian.
