Steel Tempest

Heaven's Road, a game developed by Sentient Corp. A gaming corporation situated in the Philippines. They have created many popular games that captured the hearts of many gamers, like the "Steel Tempest, " which is said to be the greatest fps game in the history of gaming.

Heaven's Road features 7 races: Humans, Elves, Dwarves, Demonkind, Beastmen, Dragonkin, and Undead.

Each of these races have indistinct traits with each other, and has its own evolution tree, and unique evolution.

It also features many different classes that can't be counted on one, nor two hands. That does not include the subclasses.

But the most prominent feature of Heaven's Road is actual talking AI. Although it is not a technologically advanced virtual reality game, the AI inside Heaven's Road is extremely advanced, and can think and act like there's actually real players behind these AIs.

This is made possible by Sentient Corp.'s HEM, Human Emulation Machine that they developed solely for this game.

The game will be released next year, which will still be pretty far off.

He was pretty disappointed because Daniel thought that it will be released today, but was postponed due to 'development' reasons.

He knew that this day should be the release of the game because of insider news, that he somehow got his hands with.

Nobody knows how he got it.

...

After watching the broadcast, Daniel turned the tv off. He was feeling pretty angry, and was down because of the postponement of releasing the game of "Heaven's Road."

Furthermore, it was next year!

Good thing it was only the start of summer.

He turned his computer back on and launched "Steel Tempest."

A game that was developed by Sentient Corp. and can be called a revolutionary game in the gaming world. It combines the concept of an fps, and rpg.

The Steel Tempest is a free-world game that features guns, and technological cities. It heavily relies on the player's gaming skills and strategies. The map of Steel Tempest is extremely large, having over 500,000 square kilometers worth of in-game land.

It also features a leveling system that allows a player to level-up one's stats.

Explanation for different stats:

Vision - Increases the accuracy, and precision of the player's character (Or decreases the deviation of the bullets from the actual target path). This stat is the only one that has a maximum capacity, which is 300.

Speed - Increases the rate at which the character's player move at.

Awareness - Allows the player's character to predict the path of a bullet. The higher the stat, the faster the bullets that the character can predict.

Movement - Allows the player's character to move more fluidly. The higher the stat is, the more movement skills one acquire, like tumbling, and leap. A necessary skill.

Physique - Increases the health, and bullets that one can take.

Endurance - Make damage lesser. The higher the stat, the lesser the damage one takes, like a natural armor.

These 6 stats make up the stats composition of each character on the Steel Tempest world. Each level up gives one 5 SP (Stat Points), and 10 AP (Ability Points). The maximum level is 500. The maximum SP that an individual could get is 3,000, while the maximum AP is 7,500, of course that's counting the outside factors, not just the SP, and AP that an individual gets during leveling up.

As the Phantom God, Daniel's character of course is already at level 500. His stats composition were the following:

Name: Phantom God

Title: Supreme Overlord

Vision: 232

Speed: 989

Awareness: 511

Movement: 1068

Physique: 100

Endurance: 100

Level: 500

That's without the bonus stats that his equipment give him, and his title.

All of his equipment were in the 10th Level Tempest-Grade, which is the highest grade that a player could get.

The tiers are the following in ascending order:

Human-Grade

Machine-Grade

Storm-Grade

Tornado-Grade

Tsunami-Grade

Tempest-Grade

Each grade has 10 levels, and the disparity between grades are very large.

With the extra stats that Daniel's equipment and title in his character gives, he is extremely powerful. If it was added, his stats would look like this:

Name: Phantom God

Title: Supreme Overlord

Vision: 300

Speed: 10,989

Awareness: 3,511

Movement: 12,068

Physique: 6,100

Endurance: 6,100

Level: 500

He has the highest speed, and movement in the game. He is termed as the "Speed Demon, " and only wields a pair of Supreme Dark Destroyers, the strongest pair of pistols in the game.

Daniel was getting bored with this game, that's why he seldom plays it, but whenever he does, it would cause a commotion, and many top players would challenge him. The number 2 player in Steel Tempest, Fiery Hunter, always challenges him.

They already had over 100 matches, but Fiery Hunter never won at all, Phantom God always won, and that's with Daniel not using his 10th Level Tempest-Grade equipment.

...

JDaniel's character spawned in the spawn point of the very center of the Steel Tempest map. It was a city called Tempest City, and was where all the players at the top lives.

As an FPS, RPG, and free world game, the environment was extremely well designed to the point that nothing can compare to it. As previously stated, the Steel Tempest game was after all revolutionary, and is the current best game in the whole world.

Daniel's character looked astounding. It wore a black futuristic light armor, and glasses that also looked pretty futuristic. Daniel's character looked cool, and was slender. In its waists were a pair of technologically-advanced pistols, which is Daniel's signature weapons, the Supreme Dark Destroyers. Daniel's character also had a sniper rifle slot in its back, where he would equip his secondary weapon, the Phantom Hunter XII, which helps him assassinate.

Of course, Daniel could equip many other weapons, such as the Phantom Hunter XII or the Thunder Blitz, an extremely strong machine gun, with a high rate of fire, as his main weapons, but he just liked these pistols.

Daniel unequipped all of these surprisingly. Then his character's athletic body was revealed. It now only wore casual jeans, and a white t-shirt, and also sports shoes. All of his stats plummeted down. The only thing that he did not unequip was his pistols, the Supreme Dark Destroyers.

He wanted to hunt with a challenge for once!

Sorry for the delay of the release, I just released the first chapter of this novel at a bad time. It is the week before our quarterly exams, or the final exams on each quarter, and I was preparing. This week is our actual exams, and I only found a time slot to write it this day. It is pretty hectic, so I very much apologize to you readers. After the exams, I promise I'll release everyday, however, only 1,000 words each. Sorry for the short chapters.
