NIOH VS AQRABUAMELU

Aqrabuamelu was the strongest sovereign of all the monsters on Atala world. He always enjoyed good battles and challenges. His only pursuit in life is to reach apex level in cultivation. For that he spent most of his time in seclusion rather than fighting other sovereign monsters to extend his domain and influence.

But for the first time in ages, he felt his battle intent rising after seeing Gundahar easily dealing with Dahaka. He was completely sure that he has to spend a lot of energy to defeat Dahaka, but what surprised him was the other human, who used just a simple fist to neutralize Dahaka breathe attack, with seemingly no effort at all.

It completely shattered his knowledge of humans. Aqrabuamelu never met any humans in his life, but memories about humans and various races were passed down through genes from his mother Tiamat. From the memories, it was clear that the monsters were 3 to 4 times powerful than the same level human cultivators. But here, these two humans are totally defying his logic by easily overpowering one of the sovereign ruler monster.

When he was searching for the answers in his memories, he learnt about special bloodlines and Unique cultivation techniques among human cultivators, which will help them fight on par with the monsters. He was completely sure that these humans also possess special bloodline or a strong cultivation techniques. If he can get his hands on them, then he will be one step closer to apex level.

So he was completely prepared to give away his share of spoils from the war, to get his hands on these humans. He was no fool, as he can understand to some extent the thoughts of his fellow monsters sovereigns. But he was confident that he can save at least one of the human leaders from his allies. If they still try to kill them all, then he will not hesitate to kill one or two of them as a warning to the others. Afterall strength reigns supreme on this world.

After forming a temporary alliance and moving towards the battlefield, he was surprised at the tactics of the humans. They started to bend the laws of nature to their own convenience and took care of Angila, Surale, Selkie and Kishi forces. Even before reaching the battlefield, they lost about 20% of their forces.

Again they didn't follow the similar pattern of attacking both him and La Guita Xica, but concentrated only on La Guita Xica. It is apparent that they want to clearly take out one of the strongest sovereign ruler monsters before the battle escalates.

He is in a dilemma now, whether she should help out La Guita Xica or press on to the humans side and increase his chances of capturing the humans. But he was scared to make that move, as he can't fight both of the human cultivators at the same time. From what he observed during the battle, he could tell that both the female cultivators are also strong, as they were able to attack their enemies from so far.

So his best option is to save La Guita Xica and help him take out the two dragons, while they are far away from their masters and without any soldiers backing them up.

With his thoughts organised, he ordered his subordinates to continue towards the battlefield, but they are only permitted to attack when all the forces of other sovereigns also surround them from all sides, while he will personally go and assist La Guita Xica.

He started to quickly make his way towards La Guita Xica and he was just a few minutes away from reaching him. It is at this time, when he was caught off guard in no man's land. The third golden dragon of the humans appeared in front of him.

Now he can't rescue La Guita Xica or escape back to his forces unless he deals with this golden dragon.

"I don't know why you came out of your way to rescue your green snake friend, but you provided us with a golden opportunity to end this war quickly with less casualties between both the sides."- Nioh

Aqrabuamelu was completely cursing himself for losing his cool and failed to read the enemies moves. If he is defeated or captured, then the war is almost in the favor of humans. He don't know how strong this golden dragon is, but he will surely defeat it and survive. As long as he present on the battlefield, it is enough to maintain the morale of his troops who easily outnumber the humans.

"Don't you think it is a cowardly way to ambush me like this, when I am all alone?"- Aqrabuamelu

Aqrabuamelu started to contact the nearest sovereign monster Angila with his soul sense to cover him, just in case of any unexpected result. Angila was the perfect ally to him at the moment as he has very good stealth abilities and strong soul attacks. All he needs to do is attack the golden dragon from the shadows and he will finish him off.

Angila is cowardly in nature but he can't reject the request from Aqrabuamelu as he is stronger than them all and they also currently needs his strength to take care of the humans. So he could only lead a part of his soldiers and move towards the direction of the battlefield.

Nioh clearly knew that this scorpion is trying to stall for time, but he was completely ok with it. He could easily take care of this monster before any reinforcements arrive here.

"First this is not an ambush, as I didn't attack you yet. Second we both are alone here, far from our allies. So it is also not a cowardly way, as we can easily determine the victor among us with the oldest way, strength."- Nioh

Aqrabuamelu just took out a bone sword from his back, which is made from the bones of a sovereign level monster. Nioh also activated his armor, covering all of his weak spots.

Aqrabuamelu swung his bone sword in a vertical motion with his full strength, the slash easily tore through space and appeared in front of Nioh. Nioh dodged the attack by weaving to the left, while the slash continued on to split the land behind him into a huge gulf.

This time Aqra sent more than 10 powerful chops at him at a quick speed, but Nioh was easily able to evade all of them, while the slashes changed the terrain of the land.

Aqra started to feed close to 10% of his energy to the bone sword after which it started to emit painful roars, with the silhouette of Giant Elephant behind it. This sword is forged and refined from the bones of this giant elephant, who was killed by Aqra.

When some of the sovereign level monsters die, they leave a part of their will in their bones, hoping to pass on their legacy to their successors. But sadly the elephants bones were refined by the very monster who killed it. So it carries a lot of resentment towards him. It didn't want to help him, but the elephants will was easily suppressed by Aqra's energy. Now it started to roar in pain, as he became a tool for his enemy even after his death.

Aqra started to float higher into the skies, when he swung the bone sword downwards to Nioh, releasing thousands of sword energies towards him.

Each of the sword energy took the ethereal form of 500 m long and 10m wide sword, with sharp edge. It it lands on Nioh, even with his armor, he will suffer some injuries.

Nioh was completely infuriated at Aqrabuamelu for the first time, after seeing the silhouette of the giant elephant. It means he not only killed the elephant, but he also destroyed a powerful legacy of a monster.

Neo Dragons are brutal and ruthless in nature, but they always show respect towards their enemies after killing them. There is a rule among them, prohibiting them from using any remains of an untouched dead monster.

As the ethereal swords were about to hit Nioh, he unleashed a loud furious roar, releasing shockwave that destroyed the swords to billions of particles.

Soon he gathered lightning energy inside his mouth, compressing it to a huge spherical lightning ball and shot it towards Aqrabuamelu.

Aqra was completely terrified by the fury in Nioh's roar. As he witnessed him gathering lightning energy, he can't help but sweat bullets. If he took that attack head on, he will definitely suffer serious injuries, so he coated himself with layers of energy to reduce the amount of damage.

As soon as Nioh shot the lightning ball at Aqra, he tried to escape from the attack by dodging. But sadly Nioh controlled the lightning ball to always target Aqra. Even while Aqra tried his best to dodge the lightning ball, Nioh covered himself in purple lightning armor, increasing his defence, speed and attacking power.

For a second Aqra sensed Nioh building up his energy and turned to look at him, in doing so he was hit squarely in the back by lightning ball, which easily penetrated the wind barrier and exploded on him. The entire left torso of his body was bleeding while his body became numb, with lightning.

Nioh quickly reached him and swung his right claw at him, but Aqra was able to block the attack with his bone sword, but still ended up losing his left hand.

Nion tightly held onto Aqra's body with both of his claws, intending to show him live hell for desecrating the bodies of the dead. He followed it with a chomp on the back of Aqra black scorpion body, ripping apart major part of his flesh. Aqra tried to pierce Nioh's head with this tail, but it was easily deflected by Nioh's own tail.

Aqra struggled furiously to escape from Nioh's grasp, but he only ended up losing few more chunks of flesh from his body. Not having any way to defend the dragon's attacks with only one hand, he pierced himself with the bone sword, which came out from the other side and was about to pierce Nioh's Head.

Out of reflex he forgot about the armor covering his head and let go of Aqra. Who immediately retreated to a distance and started to heal his injuries, while removing the bone sword from his body.

But how could Nioh give his opponent the chance to recover after gaining the upper hand. So he immediately released lightning breathe attack at Aqra, blasting a huge hole on his chest and blowing up a large part of scorpion carapace and his tail in the process.

Aqra, who once reigned this Atala world as the strongest monster, now suffered the worst injuries in his life. What's making him even more mad is Nioh is not giving him a chance to recover from his serious injuries.

He seriously started to regret his decision to help La Guita Xica. But just when he started to lose hope, he received message from Angila, who already erased his presence and preparing his soul attack on Nioh.

Author's Note: First chapter of the day. While writing this chapter, my friend was beside me and he asked me a question. Why do majority of cultivators and monsters always leave their legacy in their bones, but not in their flesh? The answer is simple, bones survive for a longer time than flesh. I hope it clears the doubts of the readers who are not familiar with xianxia stories. Enjoy the read.
