The Birth of a Ghost Overlord

Mian Tianyu and Liu Xiaodan didn't know if the master shaman had a hand in this transformation. Then again, as much as Mian Tianyu could blame himself for endangering Liu Xiaodan by failing to secure the ancient demon in its binds, Liu Xiaodan was so sure he didn't do anything. Mian Tianni would probably have more 'fault' in this, but the transcendent was steadfast in only naming one person responsible for this state.

That was why Liu Xiaodan just waved his hand. "Don't misunderstand, Detective. I do work with the Mian family because they know more about this industry and occultism in general. I was the one who realized everything that I have now. At first, it was just from saving myself from my own nightmares, but staying in Wangguan and Cherry Medical showed me that what I have… isn't inherently bad.
