The Fighting Arena
Iron Fist City
"Sir Alfred, is there a specific place you want to go." Voiced a young girl.
"No, I'm just walking around and sightseeing. Do you have something in mind?" I asked while I surveyed the city as I was walking down the streets.
After I informed the Ice Queen that I wanted to tour the city a little, she appointed one of her subordinate to accompany me and show me around. Apparently, she's kind of busy preparing for an auction.
"Well, I was thinking of showing you the fighting arena. The final fight is today." Said the young girl with a hint of anticipations in her voice.
The girl's name was Su Ling and she was an 8th rank wind mage. She was taking care of the Jade Auction house branch In Iron Fist City. She seemed to be in her late twenties. Even though her Beauty wasn't comparable to the Ice Queen, but she was still able to cause the downfall of a small city.
"Is that so, it seems like you are a big fan of this fighting arena."
"Well, lead the way then."
Just like that, Su Ling and I were making our way to the fighting arena. The streets in Iron Fist City were very wide, about like twenty meters wide with shop fronts lining on both sides of the streets. Even though there were shops on each side of the streets, the city lacked the prosperous atmosphere and the bustling atmosphere found in big cities such as Silver Moon city and others. Also, Unlike the East part of the city where the Jade Auction house was located as well as the residence of the Ice Queen, most doors and walls of these house fronts of the North part of the city bore fighting scars from blades, swords and others weapons and even some splatters of blood.
"Little girl, why is this north part of the city is so different from the East part?" I asked while walking around with both of my hands behind my back like an old man. The East part of the city seemed to be cleaner and livelier compared to the north part.
Due to my old appearance, I acted and sound like an old grandpa. Especially today, where I was wearing a white robe with wide sleeves which projected a sage-like Master image. Lowering my head and looking at my Taoist outfit, I couldn't help but smile in satisfaction. I can't believe that I have to go around to act and behave like an old grandpa in front other people due to my old appearance while I was only nineteen years old.
"It's because the East part of the city is under the Ice Queen's control, and people don't dare to come and cause trouble in the Eastern part of the city because of that. The city is divided into four part right now. The Eastern district, the Northern district, the Western district and the Southern district. The three other districts always fights and plot against one another in order to swallow each other's district. The Eastern district is the safest and the cleanest of them all as it is under the control of the Ice Queen." Answered Su Ling with a hint of respect and worship in her voice, especially when she mentioned the name of the Ice Queen.
"I see."
As I was strolling along the streets, looking around, people in the streets were also looking at me with curiosities in their eyes. But soon, these curiosities turned into fear when they caught sight of Su Ling by my side.
'It seems like this Su Ling is a well-known character within the city.' I thought to myself because these people clearly couldn't see through my power, which means, it wasn't me they were afraid of.
As I was walking into the streets, I came on contact with a crowd of people, flowing to one destination point which was the Iron Fist City fighting arena which was located in the city's square.
Su Ling and I walked patiently, following a crowd of people in into the city's square direction. Half an hour later, we finally made to the city square.
The City Square was very big , and in the middle of was an arena where five tall battle stages were erected as well as a viewer guest platform. The outer edge of the battle arena was also heavily guarded by some soldiers barricading the crowd from getting too close to the stages. However, some of the soldiers were wearing different uniforms with different insignia as if they were part of different organizations. The city's square was already filled with people by the time we got there.
'No wonder I couldn't find a lot of people in the streets as well as in the eastern part of the city, they all came here.' I thought to myself as I looked the crowd of people surrounding the fighting arena.
"This place is so crowded," I Said
Not only this place was crowded, from my observation, the majority of those people within the crowd or the residents of this city emanated a strong killing aura and a heavy stench of blood, it's like I was back to the magical beast forest all over again. Most them seemed like a bunch of untamed wild beasts and exuded a feral temperament. No doubt, this place was filled with evil people, and those who survived in a city such as this were no easy character. Even Su Ling who was next to me was emanating a slight killing aura as well despite trying her best to hide it. After my transformation, my senses have become a thousand times keener, which means, it almost impossible to hide a killing aura or a blood scent away from me, no matter how faint it was.
"Because today it's the final fight, almost all the residents of the city come to watch the fight. It's like festival for them, that's why the city's square is so crowded Sir Alfred. But we won't stay here amongst those people, we have a reserved seat on the guest platform." Answered Su Ling as she was leading the way to the guest platform where the high-level character in the city was seated.
In less than a few minutes, we arrived at the so-called guest platform. It was more like a small tall building in front of the fighting arena. We had to take a flight of steps like stairs till we made it to the top where there were four impressive-looking grand seats and a nice view of battle stages below. The platform was heavily guarded as well, however as soon as the soldiers saw Su Ling, they let us pass smoothly without any problem.
Three of those seats were already taken, there was a beautiful yet icy woman seating on one plus two other well-built middle-aged men on the others.
"The Ice Queen sends her regard esteemed district lords. She is currently busy at the moment preparing for the next auction and couldn't make it. I'm here to watch the final fight on her behalf." Said Su ling to the three Person seating as she cups her fist to them in order to show her respect.
"Just in time, welcome Miss Su Ling, the fight is about to begin. We know that the Ice Queen is a busy woman, unlike us freeloaders." Said the middle-aged in the corner seat. He had a huge sword scars on his face and I could sense a heavy bloodlust from him as well a wild killing aura. This man must have killed thousands of people to possess such a heavy killing aura around him.
"Thank you, Western district Lord." Answered Su Ling respectfully.
"Sir Alfred, please have a seat." Said, Su Ling, as she offered me the empty seat.
As soon as these words came out of her mouth, the three district lords shifted their gazes towards me. Before, they didn't pay much attention to me as though I was some sort of servant. But now, after Su ling offered me the empty seat, they all become curious. You have to understand these four impressive-grand seats represent power and influence, only the four district Lords' are worthy of seating on them. Even Su Ling isn't qualified to seat in one of them but because of the Ice Queen, they have to give her face and let her seat in one of them. Nonetheless, the other three District Lord's didn't say anything. They are not stupid and brainless, they know that the ice queen wouldn't send Su Ling to accompany and give a tour the city to some nobody or a weakling. Which means, this old man must have a high status or he was ridiculously strong even though they can't feel an ounce of battle qi from him. Also, they didn't dare to ask any questions to him or Su ling because they know that something was best not to ask unless the person in question took the initiative.
I took a quick glance at the tree districts Lord's.
'Observe' I thought myself and suddenly three blue screens pop up on top of each of their heads.

" Thank you little girl, this old man's bones are getting rusty and can't stand for far too long," I Said while seating in the empty seat shamelessly ignoring the gazes of the three district lords after checking their level of power. They weren't some weakling, two of the men were both 9th rank warrior while the woman was a fire mage. It was the first I met or seen a female fire mage. Nonetheless, they were all weaker than the Ice Queen as she was a 10th rank peak ice mage.
It only took a few seconds for the three district Lord's to regain their composure. Soon, an old man went up into the biggest battle stage and said.
"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Hell arena. Today is day that we have been waiting for the past two weeks, the final battle of the Hell competition which takes place every 2 years in Iron Fist city. The winner of this fight will win an 8th rank magical beast core as well 5000 gold coins. Without further ado, I invite the two finalists of the hell competitions to step up in the battle stage."
The audiences were cheering and making all sort of noises. People started to discuss the past fights of the two finalists and who they think will win the fight. All sort of dialogue was going on between the audiences.
Soon, a man made his way to the battle stage. He dressed in a simple black training clothe with a heavy armor covering his upper body. In his hand was a long silver sword. His body was emanating a strong aura as well as heavy killing intent.
'Observe' I secretly thought myself and a blue screen pop up on top of his head.

Suddenly, I heard a heavy stomp on the ground, sending a heavy sound and shaking the ground. The audiences fell into a dead silence. However, their eyes were filled with anticipations.
"Brother Chu, do you think that gorilla of yours can beat my fighter. After all, he doesn't possess an ounce of battle qi or mana but brute strength." Said Tian-mu with a hint of mockery in his voice.
"Hahahaha, we'll see about that." Said Chu Yang While laughing like a maniac.
Soon, an enormous figure entered into my line of sight making its way to the battle stage. The figure comes out the shadow was like a giant. His Height was at least ten feet tall. He had a heavy feature and wasn't ugly at all, however his skin was white as snow. His eyes were red as well his hair which hung loosely on his back. His upper body was naked and well built.

"Ohhh," I said in a low and surprise tone while looking at the huge guy making his way to the battle stage. This was one of the new ability awaken by the gamer's Godship after its rank went up. The world is filled with all kind of people that possess some rare bloodlines and abilities, dormant or awaken. The gamer's Godship let me know when I came in contact with one of those people.
"Info," I Said to myself in a low voice.
Suddenly a blue screen filled with information appeared in front me of this time.
