The 2nd Contestant of the URSDG and the Arrival of The Demons

"Big brother!" As soon as Longwei appeared in the middle of the sky, he heard Sylvia's voice, which was filled with surprise and happiness.

Looking around, Longwei realized that he was not in the same position or the same place he was before he got involuntarily sucked into the void space, but a little further away from his initial position.

"Where did you disappear to big brother?" said Sylvia as she approached Longwei followed by Scarlet. They both displayed a relaxed smile when they realized that Longwei was okay.

"Sorry, I was just trying out my new teleportation skill," Said Longwei as he patted Sylvia's head as well as Scarlet's. He couldn't just tell them the whole truth yet, about the Universe's Ruler Selection Death Game as well the as void space that occupied his sea of consciousness; not because he did not trust them, but because it was not yet the right time which was why he came up with this bullshit lie.

"Teleportation Skill?!" both Sylvia and Scarlet cried out in surprise. You have to understand, teleportation wasn't something that a new Saint Master can accomplish, not even a Saint Sovereign. Only those who were at the peak of the Saint Ruler realm could accomplish such a task as they are close to breaking through to the Demi-God rank.

Even though each Saint possesses a Saint Spatial Domain, as well as being able to fly because they were able to break free from some of the restrictions of the world, they still couldn't teleport themselves or an object. Teleportation was the ability to move instantaneously from one location to another without physically occupying the space in between, which was impossible for a new Saint powerhouse.

It's true that each Saint powerhouse posses a Saint Spatial Domain which allowed them to manipulate space, but it wasn't as strong as to allow them to teleport. This Saint Spatial Domain was something unique to each Saint, and also contained the property of the magical element of that Saint Master within. It only allowed them to manipulate a little of the space around them, such as locking space around a weak opponent.

"Then how strong are you now?" asked Scarlet with a look of anticipation on her face.

For some reason, she felt like Longwei was a little different from before he disappeared, especially the look in his eyes. For example, an ordinary warrior has some sort of light in their eyes. However, after thousands of years of training and battle, the light has gone out of that person's eyes. What replaced it is a tranquil and unaffected eye which was proof of your power as well as your battle experience. It usually takes a minimum of thousands of years to reach that level, yet Longwei seemed to achieve such a state at such a young age. Not only that, even his aura seemed to be different.

Upon hearing Scarlet's question, Longwei displayed a strange smile on his face.

How much did his strength increase?

Even Longwei himself was at a loss. When he was at the Grand master rank and possessed more than six elements, he had a rough idea of his strength. However, after breaking through the Saint rank and unlocking the Mystic Lightning energy, which was the highest form of energy, he became more uncertain of the extent of his power. Even though he wasn't able to use a lot of it, it was still Mystic energy. He didn't know how powerful Mystic energy was, even in his previous past life, he had never reached that state before. So there's no way he could answer Scarlet's question.

"You'll see when we meet our guests," answered Longwei with a strange smile on his face.

Soon the other human Saint powerhouses caught up with them. Apparently, when Longwei disappeared, they all split up to go look for him within the forest on Scarlet's order.

"Brother Wei, you scared us when you suddenly disappeared like that," said Qin Nan with a worried looked on his face.

"Sorry brother Qin, let's resume our trip and meet our guests before they enter the Archaic continent mainland," said Longwei with a devilish smile on his face as he flew forward without giving Qin Nan and the others the chance to ask what happened.

At this moment, Longwei viewed the demons as his test subjects to test his power. Before he had his doubts, but after awakening, the true power of the Gamer's Godship as well as regaining all of his past memories, he was one hundred percent sure in contending with the demons and the other races. Not to mention, he was one of the contestants of the Universe's Ruler Selection Death Game, which gave him the right to rule or lord over this whole universe or died trying. Mere demons can't stop his footsteps on the path of becoming the Absolute Ruler. No matter how many skills and tricks they had, he only needed one thing to crush them all, which was absolute power.

Without any delay, the others also followed him, even though they were curious about what happened they did not dare to ask. Even Qin Nan, who seemed to be closer to Longwei than the rest of the human Saints did not ask because he knew there are some things that can't be asked, especially about the secret skills of an expert.

As the human Saints approached the endpoint of the Archaic continent, they started to get nervous. Even though they really wanted to protect their homeland as well as the human race against the demons and the other otherworldly beings, they were all afraid. No matter how hard they tried to mask their fear, their facial muscles betrayed them as the fear of the demons had already traveled through their veins and made it to their skin.

They didn't even know what the demons looked like not to mention their strength. It was like a blind man going to battle. Not only the sudden change caught them off guard and unprepared, but they also did not even have the chance to come up with any strategies or plans. All they could do was follow their instinct and hope for the best or for a miracle to happen.

"Don't be afraid, I am here. I won't let the demons turn the Archaic continent into their playground," Suddenly voiced Longwei who was paying attention to them in secret.

Out of all of them, only Longwei and the two dragons were calm. Longwei was so calm, he looked as though he was taking a stroll and the demon invaders did not faze him at all.

Looking at the calm and unaffected eyes of Longwei who was smiling at them, the three human Saints seemed to have regained their composure and their calmness. It was like Longwei's voice and words had the power to erase every single trace of fear and anxiety they had in their hearts. They didn't know how, but at this moment they felt like Longwei had the power to do the impossible and as long as he was in the Archaic continent, the demon race wouldn't be able to take a single step inside.

They did not say anything. They just smiled back at Longwei, but this time a trace of hope could be seen in their eyes as they continued to fly forward.

After more than twenty minutes of flying, they suddenly stopped in mid-air, including Longwei. Their eyes were locked on the three creatures that were flying towards them.

Flying towards them were three humongous beasts that were at least twenty meters long. The three of them looked identical to a black dragon, yet they did not possess the noble and oppressive aura of a dragon, not even that of a fallen dragon.

Seeing these three mountains like beast approaching them, the trace of hope that the three human Saints had because of Longwei's words disappeared instantly. Cold sweat dripped down their faces as they felt a chill run down their spine.

"Those are not dragons," voiced Scarlet with her cold voice as she broke the silence.

"I know," Answered Longwei calmly.

"Observe," Murmured Longwei as he was looking at the three approaching creatures.

Suddenly a blue screen popped up in from of him.

[Kougala demon beast: A shape-shifting demon beast whose sole purpose is transportation. Kougalas are rare demon beasts capable of changing into all sorts of forms. However, the size of the change is limited depending on their strength. The Kougala demon beasts don't possess any attack power but a strong skin and defense. However, their speed is on par with the avian demon beast. They are able to carry more than a thousand people within them.]

Seeing this information appear in front of him, Longwei already guessed the situation.

"It seems like the demons are inside of this mountain like a beast," Said Longwei. Even with his previous past life before earth, Longwei had never met such a demon beast before. The demons that he had met before could be counted on one hand. The reason for that was demons came from the Abyss Realm and it was almost impossible for a demon to leave that place to venture into the material or mortal plane.

After Longwei had received the qualifications to participate in the Universe's Ruler Selection Death Game, he had already figured out some of the reasons why the demons were able to leave the Abyss Realm and invade this mortal plane. The reason was simple, it was because of one the contestants of the Universe's Ruler Selection Death Game was a Devil, the ruler of all demons. With his power, he was able to tear space and let his minions invade countless mortal planes and increase his army for the upcoming final battle in the distant future.

'It seems like winning this game is going to be harder than I thought,' Thought Longwei. Being able to tear the space of the Abyss Realm and make connections or passageways to the mortal plane was not something any God rank powerhouse could do. Luckily, he couldn't come himself to the mortal plane as the space and the law of this world would reject him as he was too strong. Not only that, but he also would have suffered the wrath of heaven. Otherwise, Longwei's poor life would have been in danger as he was currently like a speck of dust when compared to the power of the Devil.

As Longwei was thinking about the power of the Devil, the three humongous beasts suddenly opened their mouths wide open, which were big enough to swallow a mountain, and then countless creatures flew out from within.
