Longwei's Overwhelming Power (I)

As the three Kougala demon beasts opened their mouths, countless creatures flew out from within. At this time, the three Kougala demon beasts had already entered the territory of the Archaic continent.

The three of them stopped mid-air. Below them was a vast landscape, a wide plain void of any trees or grass. This place was inhabited by neither the humans nor beasts as it was the endpoint of the Archaic continent. If a person traveled a little further, all they would be able to see was an endless vast ocean.

Soon, more than a hundred creatures that came out from each of the Kougala demon beasts had landed on the ground.

Some of them were able to fly while some of them just jumped from the Kougala demon beasts while they were still hovering in the sky.

The ones that jumped from the Kougala demon beasts all looked like humans, however, once they landed on the ground, they transformed into some sort of fierce looking and bloodthirsty werewolf. They were all red or gray in color and were at least three meters tall. With just one look, without even using the Observe skill from his Gamer's Godship, Longwei had already known what kind of demon beasts the werewolf looking ones were. They were none other than the Lycanthropes.

The Lycanthropes were a tough species. They were born with a strong vitality and were ruthless to the core, especially those with the blood of wild creatures. They were also considered excellent hunters. Their appearances varied and they could be passed off as wolves, tigers, boars, and so on.

Even though he had never set foot in the Abyss Realm, he did know some things about the Abyss Realm and what kind of creatures lived there.

According to all the information he had acquired from some of his previous past life before Earth, there were many species in the Abyss Realm. If one were to list the different species in the Abyss Realm one by one, there would be no end point. Nonetheless, the ones that stood out the most were the dark elves, draconian, succubi, incubi, vampires, lycanthropes, horned-wing demons, and the seven ancient demon beasts. These were the most powerful and uncommon races of the Abyss Realm.

In a few seconds, the ground was filled with all types of bloodthirsty demon beasts. There were lycanthropes, orcs, ogres, dark elves and some other demon beasts. Each of them was positioned separately as though they were of different factions.

The dark elves were corrupted elves that came from the Abyss Realm, not to be confused with the pure regular elves. They had long ears, thin limbs, and brown skin, and were considered truly beautiful, whether male or female.

The dark elves formed one group, while the lycanthropes and the orcs and ogre warriors formed another. While all those demons landed on the ground, Longwei and his group landed on the ground as well facing them.

Longwei was in front while Scarlet was on his right side and Qin Nan on his left side. As for Sylvia, she was on Longwei's right shoulder as usual. The two Feng brothers were behind them. Despite their fear, they mustered all their courage and stood their ground.

Longwei just stood there quietly while looking at the army of demon beasts in front of them. Soon, three of them left their respective groups and walked towards Longwei. From the looks of it, they seemed to be the leaders of each group of demons. There was a female dark elf, one horned-wing demon, and a huge ugly ogre.

As they got closer, their features became more visible. From head to toe, the giant ogre was four meters tall. His face was covered with a few long scars that made him look fierce.

The dark elf was the embodiment of beauty. She had a sharp face, silver hair, and beautiful black eyes. Dark elves are well-known for their beautiful appearance, light and nimble body, high spirit affinity, longevity and special eyes that can see in the dark.

As for the horned-wing demon, his appearance was completely human, except for the red bat-like wings, the pair of small horns, and the long tail on his tailbone. His skin color was similar to an average Caucasian, unblemished white. He was devilishly handsome, with a pair of vicious and cunning black eyes.

From behind them, the roars of the demons could be heard as they stomped their feet on the ground, which caused the ground to shake violently. They all had a vicious look on their face.

"Observe."

While looking at the three approaching demons, Longwei used his Observe skill in order to see their stats as well as some of their abilities.

Looking at the stats of the three demons that were coming his way with a grin on their faces, Longwei already had a rough estimate of their strength. As for their titles, he was still unsure of the meaning behind them. Nonetheless, these minor details did not bother him. Sooner or later he would know everything he needs to know about them.

"Scarlet," voiced Longwei with a devilish smile on his face.

ROARRR!

With a loud roar, Scarlet turned into her true form and flew into the sky.

Dragon Breath!

Suddenly a black cluster of energy grew approximately 70 cm away from Scarlet's open mouth. It condensed until it was a pillar of black light shooting into the air. The pillar of black light pierced the huge chest of one of the Kougala demon beasts that were continued to fly past Longwei in order to go deep within the Archaic Continent.

"RWOAHHH!"

The Kougala demon beast let out an anguished roar as its body was pierced by the black light shot by Scarlet. While it opened its mouth in pain, countless other heavily injured demons jumped out from its mouth and landed on the ground. The Kougala demon beast was shrinking rapidly until it was the same size as a small bird. However, before it could get to that small size, more than 300 demons had come out from its huge mouth.

The other two Kougala demon beasts, which had not been hit by the attack, suddenly came to a halt.

BOOM!

Suddenly, a strong wind arose from the center of the two groups, as Longwei advanced towards the three demons while staring coldly at them.

"It seemed like you guys consider my island your backyard where you can come and do whatever you like."

At this moment Longwei's body was completely shrouded by a dark blue energy as he unleashed his aura. His figure was like a shark tearing through the waves, as he gave off an unparalleled aura of ferocity which was able to rip through space.

When the three demons sensed the powerful aura that was gushing out from Longwei's body, they suddenly halted their footsteps while doing their best not to kneel down. The frightening power they felt coming from that dark blue energy was enough to cause them to wildly vomit out a mouthful of blood. Not only that, they felt as though they were being pressed down by a powerful invisible force. As Longwei was slowly approaching them, they felt like a giant predator was coming their way.

"Scarlet, Sylvia, I want you to flush out the cockroaches inside the Kougala demon beasts while leaving the two Kougalas unharmed. As for those puppies on the ground, just leave them for me," said Longwei with a weird smile on his face as a long silver sword materialized in his hand out of thin air.

"It's time to get the Harmony Sword baptized with the blood of demons."

"Attack!" the three demons yelled, as they watched this unbelievable scene unfold in front of them.

The three of them released their demonic energy, which continuously surged like a tidal wave, as the killing intent in their eyes intensified. Suddenly, all three of their expressions simultaneously changed, as they stepped forward and transformed into three blurry shadows. As they dashed forth, they unleashed their strongest attacks which instantly targeted all of Longwei's vital points.

They had already identified Longwei as their strongest opponent. This was supposed to be a mere scouting mission issued by their Grand Duke, yet they met such a powerful individual. Not only that, but that person was a human accompanied by two powerful dragons. There wasn't supposed to be any humans left in this world. The handful of humans that are still alive are living in the Elf Continent as slaves or servants. While the remaining scattered throughout the Mainland barely maintaining a feeble existence.

The worst thing is, this place was located very close to their demon continent. There is no way they would let huge human settlements that could threaten their standing get stronger. They already have to worry about the attacks of the giants, but now they are going to have the humans that were supposed to be extinct attacking them as well. They knew the great potential of the humans, which is why they would crush them in one go and enslave the weak ones that remained.

As he faced the formidable attacks of the trio, Longwei merely chuckled. He didn't even take a single step back but instead continued to advance. As he waved Harmony in his hands, it was shrouded in a dark blue energy. Three shadows of the sword ripped apart the air and viciously pierced towards the enemy's throats accompanied by the sound of lightning.

Clang! Clang! Clang!

The weapons in the three demon's hands were wrapped with an extremely large amount of demonic energy that resembled black smoke. When they collided with the incoming sword shadows, sparks and sounds immediately exploded forth.

Bang!

Due to the simultaneous explosions coupled with the extremely violent collisions of the two types of energy, a shockwave formed which pushed back everyone within a twenty meters radius.

"Huh!"

After forcibly intercepting Longwei's attack, the facial expressions of the three demons changed once again. It was because when they looked at their weapons, all the demonic energy that had shrouded their weapons was absorbed by Longwei's dark blue energy in the collisions. Not only that, but Longwei's sword was like a small mountain, the strength behind his attacks was extremely monstrous. It was comparable to those pesky Giants. From what they knew, humans were supposed to be frail and weak.

"Who are you?" asked the female dark elf with a solemn expression on her face.

"Don't you think it's too late for introductions now?" answered Longwei as he was looking at them with a strange playful smile on his face.

"It's my turn to attack now," said Longwei as he brandished his sword once again.
