Making Experiments [C35]

Having chosen the plan, the group of five started going on the way back to the entrance of the remain.

"Wow, surely the destruction we left with the traps is incredible." Seeing how the exit of the hall is completely destroyed, Ru Seji felt the need to make a comment.

"Indeed, but more important, Himo, how did you obtain the acknowledgment of the violin?" Apart from Shu Himo and Ru Seji, the others here are passionate of Cursed Weapons, so it is normal how they are curious about it.

"It's simple, I fought with the one sealed within, and if I resisted his attack using the violin I would have won. For what the violin's ability is, that's a secret." Sticking out his tongue jokingly, Shu Himo decided to hold secret the ability of the violin for the moment, after all now it's his ability!

The others were a bit disappointed over not having the chance of hearing all the story, but they did not press further the question.

Seeing their disappointed faces, Shu Himo still told how he obtained the acknowledgment of the Scythe, obviously omitting the [Hopper] skill and the existence of the system, anyway, what happened was nothing that involved something they didn't saw yet so he did not mind to say it.

In a couple minutes, they finally reached back to the grand hall from where they started, but they were surprised to see that it was all destroyed! Full of marks of fighting, signs of burns, dead bodies and explosion marks, the grand hall showed a completely different sight than before!

They were surprised for a moment, but they then saw thirty disciples at Acupoint Opening phase coming closer, threatening them with swords, "Heeh, a new group? Hurry up and give up anything you have found, or else you will end up like those bodies."

Ru Seji and the other three were about to start fighting, but they all got to hold back by Shu Himo, "Don't fight, it's evident we have no advantage over them! It's better to do as they want, here..." While showing a pained expression, Shu Himo slowly continued talking, "Take this violin, it's the only thing we found in the remain... sigh..."

Originally the four were puzzled seeing Shu Himo acting like that, but seeing that he was giving a cursed weapon to another person they paled in fright! Who could image that Shu Himo was this scheming! They immediately swore on themselves to never make him into an enemy!

The young disciple did not suspect anything and immediately took the violin, wanting to see what was special about it. The moment he took the bow and the violin, his eyes immediately became startled, seeing the creepy smile from Shu Himo and the voice in his head telling himself, "Kill Yourself" he now knew what true terror is:

Moving the bow toward the violin and positioning himself, he immediately started playing the violin, creating an illusion realm.

In the illusion realm, he created four swords around him, which then impaled him to death!

Now dead, while falling in the ground he dropped the violin which got caught by Shu Himo, who then put it again in the storage and took out a notebook and a pen. He then immediately started writing:

'''Experiment number 1. Give the cursed violin to another person. Result: The subject created an illusion realm by playing the violin and then created four swords to kill himself. Test success.'''

"This is great, the experiment worked out, thanks, everyone!" Thanking the remaining 29 disciples who just saw their leader killing himself, Shu Himo then brought out the Scythe of Doom.

"Now that I thanked you, as a reward for helping my experiment, you shall be executed!" The disciples who saw Shu Himo taking out the scythe immediately felt extremely threatened: they are 29 but the enemy is only one, what is this overwhelming pressure?

Not having enough time to think about it, they immediately backed off, some of them were starting to chant magic spells while others took out their weapons, ready to defend themselves and attack Shu Himo.

'Wow, why do I feel like if I'm against a specially made team of tanks and dps from a videogame?' While having unrelated thoughts, Shu Himo did not use [Hopper], as he wanted to take this chance to test something. "Don't help me, I will fight them by myself." As he was doing an experiment, he did not want help from the others, so he told them to not help.

Naturally, they were not too happy about it, how fun is to only watch? But looking Shu Himo dancing with his scythe may not be so bad after all, so they did not mind too much.

Walking slowly toward the disciples, holding the handle of the scythe with two hands and pointing the blade toward the right of them, Shu Himo now emanated a tremendous pressure.

The disciples, now scared and terrorized, still completed the chant and threw all the fireballs toward Shu Himo, it now seemed more like a barrage of fireballs!

Seeing the fireballs coming, Shu Himo started to rotate slowly his scythe toward left, hitting the closer fireball, but while the disciple who threw it expected it to explode and kill Shu Himo, unexpectedly it got only cut in half and vanished. How is that possible? The disciple stared at Shu Himo in disbelief.

Everyone felt something weird about the happenings, while Shu Himo was only smiling mysteriously.

To the disciples, that smile seemed the call from the grim reaper itself, but they still forced themselves to calm down, how could they face their seniors if they can't even resist something like this?

As Shu Himo only blocked a single fireball, most of them passed through his guard and hit him, much to the Joy of the disciples! But the Joy quickly became despair as they noticed that Shu Himo suffered not only zero damage, but also that every fireball seemed to be absorbed by Shu Himo as if it was going to give him more strength. How is that possible?

Everyone was startled, even the four behind Shu Himo, didn't he just got a violin?

How did he suddenly became immortal?

Even if they were puzzled they would not ask, at least not during a fight, so they just continued watching him.

Shu Himo was a bit sad over how he managed to stop only a single fireball, but he then started laughing, and, advancing until close to the disciples he met the sword attack of one of them with his scythe, instantly shattering it and cutting the disciple in half, who even upon death had a face full of disbelief and fear.
