Surprise! [C36]

The now 28 remaining disciples were all scared completely seeing another of their teammates die in front of them.

They now felt terror, and immediately tried to run away, but...

"Where is the exit? Where are the other ways? WHY IS THIS HALL CLOSED?!?"

They finally noticed that everything was closed, they could not escape, and looking back toward Shu Himo, they finally noticed that he killed more two disciples, leaving alive only 26 remaining.

Knowing that it's a do or die, they then immediately surrounded Shu Himo, attacking him with various attacks: slashes from swords, magic spells, even physical blows with punches, but the swords touching him immediately shattered, the magic got absorbed, and the physical blows seemed to hit the hardest shield.

Now, not knowing what to do anymore, some of the disciples went crazy! Some attacked their own teammates hoping to get forgiveness from Shu Himo, only to get immediately decapitated a moment later.

Surely they did not expect that if there is one thing that Shu Himo hates are betrayers, which sealed completely their fate.

On the other hand, Shu Himo did not need to be merciful at all, seeing the destruction in this room it was clear that those thirty already killed someone that did not want to give their items, so why would Shu Himo be merciful?

Now only five disciples were still alive, all gathered in a formation to defend themselves from Shu Himo.

One in front, to parry his attacks, two in the sides, and the remaining two were behind, chanting other types of magic than fireballs, as they saw that Shu Himo could absorb the fire.

Shu Himo slowly walked toward the formation, watching towards them like if they were trash, getting closer, he then stopped and looked toward the two who were chanting.

The moment they finished the chant, they were all happy that they managed to complete the chant, so they immediately used it: it's a spear of earth coming out from the ground, aimed at Shu Himo!

Not having enough time to react, Shu Himo got impaled by the spear through his stomach, giving him no chance of surviving. The one in front seeing the chance, immediately attacked Shu Himo with his sword, decapitating Shu Himo.

Ru Seji and the other three that were watching Shu Himo were stunned: they did not expect Shu Himo's acting skills to be top-notch! They were already informed of what Shu Himo was doing by him during the fight, so they did not have to worry, but still, the suggestive scene somewhat scared them: they were not scared of the bodies, but of how Shu Himo is playing with them! They now prayed to not make Shu Himo angry for any reason in the world!

The five surviving disciples were stunned seeing that they finally could damage Shu Himo, and then immediately started celebrating over the kill, they survived!

Looking again at the body of Shu Himo they immediately felt the need to vent their anger and went to kick him. Little did they expected that the moment the first kick reached the body, the body would explode completely!

*BOOM*

Thanks to the small explosion, the one who sent the kick immediately lost his leg! How is that possible?

Extremely scared again, they tried to calm down again only to hear from behind them, "Surprise!" They immediately turned around, only to see a person who should be dead, but that came back to life! Shu Himo! How is that possible?

"You... What are you? First, you absorb magic... then you are indestructible... then you explode... and now suddenly you are even immortal! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU?"

Faced with a disciple about to go crazy Shu Himo only chuckled, pointed his finger and said: "I can do this too!"

Immediately generating a small sun in front of his finger, Shu Himo created a ray of fire that incinerated three of the remaining five disciples!

The remaining two disciples, losing all hope in life, fell on the ground, and they then looked at Shu Himo and said: "Can you please at least tell us how you managed to kill all of us this easily? At least as a last wish."

Shu Himo was startled for a moment, but he still decided to answer. "Sure!"

He then clapped his hands making his body explode in a myriad of confetti while the place changed completely, the walls were not closed anymore, the exit was there again, all the disciples who they thought had a body completely destroyed laid flatly on the ground, with external wounds that seemed not able to kill them, but even so, they were all still dead.

Seeing the existence of the exit coming back, the two disciples wanted to escape but realizing they had a scythe on their necks and that Shu Himo was behind them they could not move at all, especially being seated on the ground.

"It's simple, really! Your leader created an Illusion Realm by using the violin, and I stole it! What you were fighting was simply a fake me! About the wounds, they are created by the Illusion Realm, while it's almost impossible to deal a mortal wound to someone with an illusion realm it's still possible to hurt them after all!"

Seeing that he had their whole attention, Shu Himo then ended his explanation.

"Now, as I said it's impossible to kill them with an illusion realm you must be guessing why they died right? It's because of the so-called Placebo Effect, strengthened by the effect of the Illusion Realm! Not that you know it, but it's basically being so sure of something that it ended up affecting your body!"

Grinning, he then said wickedly, "How interesting, don't you think so? Believing to be dead to the point your heart and brain completely shut off by itself until you die for real!"

Having respected their last wish, he then slashed with the scythe, decapitating them ignoring their faces full of despair.
