The Orexis Kingdom [C40]

Imperial Palace of the Kingdom of Orexis.

An extremely authoritative person is now sitting on the throne, looking toward his subjects kneeling down in front of him.

"We may have a terrible enemy this time. Increase the alertness everywhere in the Kingdom at the maximum levels and tell all the civilians to stay in their homes for today. For no reason should they go outside or they may get involved in the fight. Also, immediately call the elite troops, the enemy may be worthy of them but don't send them yet, we first need to know how many stars the enemy will be."

All the other people in the room were utterly shocked: the elite troops? Who could invade the Kingdom that deserves their attention? But as it's the King who ordered it, they immediately went to inform them. "Yes, your Majesty."

The slime originally thought that it was destined to die and decided to give up, waiting for its death, but it did not expect that the child in front of him shooting with that weapon would create such a situation!

The slime instinctively knew thanks to the effect of the taming item that if it managed to kill the child in this dream the child would die for real and the slime would save itself but also that if it loses then it will have to obey that child! 'A mere child dare to challenge my adult form?' With a hint of mockery, the slime then proceeded to look around itself.

It then noticed that everything was green, but a few meters farther there was a red line: for what is that red line? Not knowing it decided to be prudent and immediately changed its form to an adult woman as a camouflage.

The Slime, looking around noticed that there was nothing apart green fields, and while being confused walked toward the red line, as it felt that Shu Himo was toward that direction.

As the dream is way too big, both Shu Himo and the Slime could feel the location of each other, and this could be used by both against each other.

Sadly, the slime had no idea of where it was going.

Going beyond the red line everything changed: suddenly, the slime noticed that in front of it there wasn't any more a green field, but enormous flying spherical buildings with seemingly blue magic circle marks.

Startled, it tried to calm down when it heard:

"Detected external threat. Proceeding the elimination."

Immediately, the scenery changed completely, as contrary to the peaceful scene from a moment before every building abruptly changed.

Every blue sign started to emit blue light, seemingly losing electricity.

Feeling an incoming threat, the slime immediately jumped on the air, only to notice that everything in the place where it was a moment ago got immediately destroyed by a ray of blue light! What is this terrifying place?

Knowing that if it died by those structures that child would easily win, the slime immediately let out a ball of fire capable of burning everything! Releasing the miniature sun toward the structures, the slime created a temperature over 5000 degrees Celsius in a wide radius expecting to destroy everything, but unlike its expectations, while the defensive systems stopped working not even a single structure got damaged seriously!

This left the slime dumbfounded, of what materials are those buildings? Not having time to analyze them it immediately proceeded to enter the Kingdom, only to hear another voice:

"The threat overcame the walls. Threat level raised to one star."

One star? An attack capable of generating 5000 degrees Celsius was valued as a single star?

Every building after the 'walls' is a big house seemingly indestructible, where now the civilians are inside as a shelter to defend themselves from the attacks.

Not putting neither the buildings or the threat star level to its mind, the slime kept running toward the center of the Kingdom, only to start seeing some lifeforms walking toward its direction.

The slime was surprised, there are other lifeforms here?

There are about twenty people, all armed with a full body hit-absorption suit and in their hands a weird weapon, that seemed a mix from a pistol and a bazooka.

Seeing that twenty lifeforms with not even a cultivation dared to challenge itself, the slime immediately sped up toward them, almost vanishing from their view.

The slime morphed its fingers into enormous claws to attack them, only to hit nothing! Those lifeforms seeing that their target was moving fast immediately teleported around, dodging easily the attack!

After being all in position, they aimed their weapon toward the Slime, pressed the trigger and shot at it! A rocket suddenly appeared from those weapons and immediately targeted the Slime!

Seeing all those weird objects charging toward itself, the Slime did not panic, and immediately expanded its body.

Becoming an enormous sphere to defend from the impact, the rockets finally hit the slime, exploding.

*BOOOOM*

Creating an explosion that rivaled a divine attack, the remainings of the Slime were just some random parts scattered everywhere, but in barely a second they all united and the Slime was again as good as new! The regeneration of the Slime was almost instantaneous, which startled all the lifeforms who thought they had won. Retreating immediately, they then sent the report of the fight to the headquarters.

The Slime, being fine it took again the form of a woman, and seeing that those lifeforms retreated it then proceeded to run toward Shu Himo, only to hear another voice:

"The threat possess enchanted regeneration. Changing tactics accordingly."

This time the Slime, unlike the others times felt a true threat. It saw enormous rods standing on top of each building, with a seemingly hole in the top-part, why does that give such a threat?

It trusted its instincts and immediately proceeded to run from those by transforming into an enormous dragon, flying in the sky. Looking backward, it then saw something that can give true terror even to someone with a cultivation superior to Longevity Realm. Every rod started emitting a sea of flames, and now everything that could be seen was not red but completely black. The temperature of the flames could be felt even from the sky, it reached almost a million degrees Celsius!

The Slime felt like laughing thinking of its flame attack of just 5000 degrees Celsius.

Still not giving up, the slime went toward the location of Shu Himo only to hear another voice, and that voice is the last it will hear in the dream.

"The threat is flying. Activate the Antiaircraft guided missiles."

Hearing this voice, the slime looked toward the ground, only to see a myriad of flying missiles each enough to destroy itself. Panicking it tried to go toward the space to escape, but it then got shot down by a special laser constructed by Shu Himo for when monsters tried to escape too high.

The laser was strong enough to completely vaporize its body, destroying every single cell.

In the end, the Slime failed to enter even a single kilometer deep in the Orexis Kingdom.

In the Imperial Palace of the Orexis Kingdom.

"It seems the slime already died... what a joke to think I would need to call the elite troop, did the system lie to me bragging that it was that strong?"

"How many stars did the monster got?" Said the King, Shu Himo looking toward the subject in the room who just returned to make a report.

"Yes, your Majesty! It appears that the enemy barely classified as a 1-star threat!"

Hearing the report, Shu Himo started laughing, "Barely one star! Haha! It seems there was not even need to stop the civilians from leaving home!" He then looked toward his subjects and said: "Now I will return, manage the Kingdom in my absence as usual."

"Yes, your Majesty!"
