Closing his eyes as suggested by the system, Shu Himo finally viewed the royal palace, but from the sky.

The palace comprehends of a big inner courtyard, surrounded by immense buildings. At the four corners, there is a pointed tower each, which appeared to be able to pierce the sky.

Around the structures is present an even larger courtyard, that presented the view of a majestic flower garden.

It would reveal an incredible view if it wasn't for the viewpoint being as if it was observing a map.

"System, can't I adjust the angle? I feel as if I'm playing an online management game."

[Negative. It's only possible to switch the current area, zoom out or zoom in.]

"I see."

Zooming out, Shu Himo could observe the whole Kingdom.

Gazing at the range of the Jungle Kemister, where the remains are, he discerned that most of the area there is concealed by a black fog, most likely due to the monster territories.

Every village is, unlike the jungle entirely clear from the fog, and if paying attention, it is likely to perceive every person roaming in the streets.

Reflecting again about the situation in that outer village, Shu Himo began looking at every village and, if their lord possesses a residence too luxurious compared to the commoners, he then recorded the names of the village in a piece of paper, to give later to Shu Mo.

Shu Himo is planning to directly replace the Lord of every similar village to increase the quality of the life of the commoners, inducing an increase in productivity.

After a few minutes, now having concluded recording everything Shu Himo was about to stop watching toward the map, but something attracted his focus.

"What is that?"

Seeing hundreds of flying balloons Shu Himo is astounded, from when balloons even exist in this world? Some are red, purple, blue, and even transparent. All with long threads falling from below the balloons, all pointing toward the ground due to the gravity.

Looking better, Shu Himo finally discerned that they are aiming toward the Capital of Shu, and are currently only at 50 Kilometers from the Capital! Are they monsters? Or even weapons?

Fortunately, they are moving slowly, but not having other choices, Shu Himo decided to go there the next day.

Closing the map, Shu Himo opened again his eyes and went to search for his father.

Wandering, he crossed through the kitchen, the bedrooms, the halls, but did not manage to find him, where is he? Outside?

Stepping first in the inner courtyard Shu Himo did not find him again, so he directly went toward the outside.

Reaching the outdoor courtyard, Shu Himo is greeted by a floral aroma, which surrounded the entire area.

The sweet scent embraced Shu Himo and Phylia, revealing the existence of a grand variety of flowers.

Wandering around the palace, Shu Himo found a hedge maze, but not having time to check everything he just jumped over it.

He found his father inside the maze, strolling peacefully hand in hand with Shu Himo's mother.

'What are you doing there?!?' Is what he would like to say, but he's still his son so he just went and greeted them.

"Good morning! Father, I need your help for a moment."

Seeing their son in such a rush they were surprised, but they then replied, "Good morning, what does my son need my help with?" Disregarding the contemptuous look from Shu Ashey, Shu Mo reverted to his doting behavior toward his son.

"Take this list, every Lord in these villages need to be changed into more suited ones. It is further required to tell to every single one of them to work to increase the quality of life of the commoners, or they will instantly be removed from their roles."

Shu Mo and Shu Ashey, hearing Shu Himo are astonished, is their son thinking of how to improve the situation of the people?

He then proudly looked at Shu Himo and said, "Sure, I will do it."

Hearing his father's approval, Shu Himo nodded and went back inside, going toward his own room.

'Perfect, this will be a long-term investment to increase the revenue of the Kingdom.'

While walking toward his own room Shu Himo then suddenly said, "System, unlock the next function."

Suddenly, Shu Himo felt his surroundings to warp completely and found himself in the entrance of a tower, but with the exit locked.

[In the Monsterhouse - Tower of Despair, only despair is allowed. Tamed monsters will not help the User.]

Everything inside is grey, the walls around himself, the floor and the ceiling, the only exception is a weird black monitor in front of him with an orange number gradually becoming lower.

Abruptly, in the room in front of Shu Himo emerged multiple monsters.
