All the five fat ogres are holding an iron bat longer than 2 meters, greatly heavy looking and for unknown reasons full of blood.
Observing them, Shu Himo felt an unshakable pressure, that somehow made him regret proceeding, but as it's impossible to go back now Shu Himo must kill them.
Entering the room, the first thing that Shu Himo heard from the ogres are three distinct words:
"Kid..."
"Food..."
"Good..."
Feeling the gazes from the ogres, Shu Himo felt a cold shiver and prepared himself with the scythe, ready to defend from their attacks.
The nearest of them casually stepped out approaching Shu Himo, lifted his bat and attacked Shu Himo with it, doing a shallow attack, as if it was a child trying to destroy a sand castle.
But, to Shu Himo that attack was not simple at all, because it felt like if a mountain is smashing toward him, 'What is this?' Examining the attack, Shu Himo is certain that if he parried it he would be reduced into meat paste!
Not daring to parry the attack, Shu Himo used [Hopper] and avoided it, but he abruptly noticed a second ogre leaping toward the same direction he is going, apparently with the intention to grab him.
Frightened, Shu Himo rapidly used [Hopper] in mid-air, shifting direction and eluding the attack.
Ultimately with his feet again on the ground, Shu Himo glanced toward the ogres with a grim look, only to notice that a flying projectile is approaching him, a bat which one of the ogres launched!
Not possessing any more time to avoid the bat, Shu Himo brought out the violin, using it as a shield once again, but, unlike during the fight with the wolves, the might of the impact is way too strong and managed to pass within the violin transferring its strength to Shu Himo and forcing him flying for more than 10 meters, hitting a wall.
"ARGGH!"
Feeling pain everywhere, Shu Himo could not help but let out a scream, only accomplishing to quiet down after a couple moments thanks to the fact that the circumstances are currently critical.
Standing up once again, Shu Himo pushed himself to take again the violin, gritting his teeth and stepping toward it.
Only after a few moments did he eventually hold it and hastily began playing it, overflowing the area with the music emanating from it.
Swiftly, the ogres found themselves in an entirely different area, apparently in a forest with high green trees and large rocks everywhere, where the visibility is greatly restricted.
As these ogres' intellect is not high, they did not notice to be inside an illusion and just acted as if it was normal, all attempting to look for Shu Himo after seeing him disappear.
Some checked beneath the rocks, while others split apart trees, to see if he is within.
Meanwhile, Shu Himo proceeded to control the area finally beginning his assault.
Abruptly, the ogres saw distant from them forming an arrow, which then abruptly approached their head extremely fast and hit it... only to fail in dealing any injury.
'What?!?' Alarmed, Shu Himo chose to try other elements.
Suddenly, the ogres found themselves in a sea of fire, threatening to incinerate their existence itself, but somehow, they did not get burned at all and resumed looking for Shu Himo as if the fire did not exist.
Now dumbfounded, Shu Himo decided to form a black hole close to the ogres, to kill them by exerting the gravitational strength.
In the area close to the ogres abruptly formed multiple small black holes, that began pulling anything, from trees to rocks, everything got pulled and destroyed by its gravity force.
The only difference is the ogres, that perceiving the black holes scratched their heads and proceeded to search for Shu Himo.
Pondering about it, Shu Himo eventually understood why they appear immortal here: 'They have the belief to be indestructible, so the illusions won't work on them!'
Comprehending that there is no other way, Shu Himo stealthily walked behind an ogre, to assassinate it with the scythe by exploiting the landscape, so first sneaking behind a rock, Shu Himo then darted out jumping toward the back of the ogre, slashing at it to eliminate him.
The ogre, unlike what Shu Himo anticipated abruptly turned around while saying, "Good smell!" And stretched his hand, catching the handle of the scythe, sequentially preventing Shu Himo from moving it.
Initially frightened, Shu Himo rejoiced to see the ogre holding the scythe, as the curse would do the rest of the job.
Again, his expectation got betrayed, as the ogre behaved as if the curse did not exist in the first place, and swiftly jumped toward Shu Himo, who did not have enough time to react.
Shu Himo, now being grabbed at his wrist from the ogre tried to escape but all his attempts seem useless, as the ogre just pulled him closer and slowly opened his mouth, exposing his yellow teeth, then biting at Shu Himo's arm.
"AAAHHHH! LEAVE ME!"
Now feeling his own flesh getting apart, Shu Himo wished to withdraw immediately from the fight in the tower of despair.
*Crack*
"AAAHHH!" Hearing the noise of his broken bones and understanding finally why this place is called Tower of Despair, Shu Himo passed out.
The ogre, allowing Shu Himo to collapse on the ground, then crushed his head with his bat, taking his life.
Everything then became black, and the only thing that could be heard is the voice from the system.
[Interesting. This User managed to survive that much on the second floor...]
