5 minutes later.
"6 minutes and 30 seconds passed, introducing the fourteenth ball."
Now completely surrounded by fourteen balls moving at 50m/s, Shu Himo felt to go crazy, 'How is this test even possible! Isn't this just crazy?'
[The User just said that nothing can stop the User, but a moment later this is what happen…]
Not having the energies to reply to the system, Shu Himo abruptly raised his left foot, lowered his right hand and raised his chin dodging three spiked metal balls! But this was not yet all, as he now executed a backflip, dodging other five spiked metal balls!
Now instead of doing a test, it seems like Shu Himo is dancing, seeing how he is moving to dodge the balls.
As the spiked metal balls surrounded him, Shu Himo can't use [Hopper] even if willing, as it would only increase the problems.
Now with a grim and tired look, Shu Himo raised his right leg, taking a step and dodging another spiked metal ball.
Suddenly, ten spiked metal balls turned around and aimed Shu Himo, leaving him no way to escape, now having a grim look, he can only bet on hopper to save himself from this situation.
Jumping high using a stacked [Hopper_x2], Shu Himo dodged easily the ten spiked metal balls, but abruptly hit his head on the one on top of himself.
*Boom*
With the sound of an explosion, the spiked metal balls all exploded becoming a black mist, which slowly transformed into a display filled with various sentences.
"Congratulation for completing the test!
Required survival time for passing: 5 minutes!
Time survived: 6 minutes and 46 seconds. [Press here to check average times]"
Feeling his limbs weak due to the fatigue, Shu Himo fell on the floor exhausted. While resting for a bit, he then pressed the button to check average times, as he is quite curious about it.
"Average times:
Class D: 19 seconds.
Class C: 1 minute and 13 seconds.
Class B: 1 minute and 47 seconds.
Class A: 2 minutes and 56 seconds.
Class S: 6 minutes and 33 seconds.
The Winged Freaks: 36 minutes and 56 seconds.
Teachers: 17 minutes and 39 seconds.
Headmasters: Information Reserved."
From the control room, the headmaster seeing the record of Shu Himo did not feel surprised, and just said "Oh." The helplessness of having already his common-sense destroyed is the only thing he could feel by looking at the record.
Meanwhile, seeing the numbers Shu Himo felt bad, how could he do such an average record? "36 minutes and 56 seconds, is that a joke? Isn't that like being against 74 spiked metal balls? Wait, the winged freaks, what kind of name is that? And who would even accept it? I guess that is the special section the headmaster talked a while ago?"
[The system believes that The Winged Freaks is a proper name.]
'What? I did not know you had such weird tastes!'
Suddenly, a mechanical voice resounded the room, "Starting the second test." Once the voice ended, Shu Himo found himself in a location completely different.
Around him there is an enormous plain and, looking attentively, there can be seen some weirdly shaped things coming toward him from afar.
While he was wondering what he is supposed to do, he heard again the usual mechanical voice, "Punch the Rock, Cut the Paper, Defend from the Scissors."
"Eh?" Puzzled by this weird phrase, he finally noticed the actual shapes of those things: one seems a rock, one is flat like paper, and the last is extremely sharp scissors! What kind of test is this? Did he suddenly begin to play at rock paper scissors without knowing it?
Even if dumbfounded, Shu Himo finally know what he's supposed to do, so he immediately focused himself on the closest objective: a rock!
Staring at it, Shu Himo finally noticed the ridiculousness of the test, the rock is moving at 200m/s! Does that mean that every target will go at that speed?
Looking around, he noticed that the papers are going at 50m/s, sighing in relief. But only a moment later, he noticed something horrible, which caused his face to get pale, "This is bullsh*t!" The scissors are going at 500m/s! Is it even possible to defend from that?
Now with a grim expression, Shu Himo turned back once again to the rock, only to notice that it's at barely 20 meters of distance, it will need scarcely 0.4s to reach him!
Promptly raising his arm, he sent a punch toward the rock. *Pop!* The moment he hit the rock, the rock suddenly burst, as if it never existed before.
Not paying attention to it, Shu Himo immediately took out his sword and slashed behind him, *Frr!* The paper had almost reached him, but thanks to his previous training he succeeded in slicing it!
Suddenly feeling a cold shiver to his right, he promptly took out his violin, using it as a shield against the scissors!
*Pop!*
"That was close!" Sighing in relief for having stopped the scissors, Shu Himo looked around to find the next obstacles, but his expression quickly became grim. In a couple kilometers of range, there are at least 500 targets getting closer to him.
Not giving up, Shu Himo's expression quickly changed to a resolute one, as if he was about to go to war.
With the system recording the scene in secret, Shu Himo took his violin with the left hand and the sword with his right, ready to fight against rocks, paper, and scissors.
