Weird Behaviors [C86]

Swiftly recollecting his state of mind, the Headmaster sighed, "All the teachers there, you will later explain to me what is happening here. Meanwhile, Shu Himo, come out quickly, you will have to do the next phase of the test, to be promoted to S class."

Hearing the headmaster, all the teachers abruptly stood up and made a path for Shu Himo to let him pass through.

Seeing their behavior the headmaster felt stifled, can you all stop doing that?

Not noticing the dismayed face of the headmaster, Shu Himo nonchalantly walked in the middle of the teachers and left the room. Seeing then that all the students are located at the entrance of the stadium instead of the flying island, he jumped toward them.

Finally reaching the floor, he then looked toward the headmaster, waiting for his speech.

Sighing once again, the headmaster looked at the students while readied himself to do his speech, but if he sighed because only two students passed the test or because of Shu Himo, is something that not even he knows.

Finally, he opened his mouth starting his speech, "As all of you know, the first phase finally ended, and only Shu Himo and Aura Azusa managed to beat the test. Now the second phase will start, and you will finally know why who did not pass the earlier tests is not qualified to try this one." The headmaster then clapped his hands, and all the rooms on top of the flying island suddenly vanished.

At their place there is now an enormous black portal, as high as five meters and large three meters, giving sinister feelings to all the students. Even Shu Himo is feeling threatened by whatever is coming out from there, not daring to lower his guard.

Suddenly, a hand came out of there, but not a normal hand, it appears instead as a mechanical hand, seemingly trying to grab something in front of it.

A moment later, the rest of the body gradually came out, frightening all the students, some students stood in shock, while others fell on the floor in a panic, feeling their own limbs weak. All of them are now feeling a particular emotion toward it: they are feeling terror.

Shu Himo, after seeing it, has his mouth completely agape with his eyes wide open in shock, 'A Mecha?!?'

On the flying island, with the portal closing, a humanoid figure appeared, with the small difference of being five meters tall, colored both gray and black, and instead of flesh, completely made in metal. Taking a better look, it is possible to see it completely chained to the ground by many formations made by the headmaster earlier. Its eyes are glowing red, seemingly targeting every form of life in the area as an enemy, erasing every bit of courage others have in front of it.

Observing it, the headmaster accidentally revealed a bit of killing intent, but quickly hid it and smiled toward the students, "If you are wondering what that is, it's an unknown form of life we recently found, called Met-3. This test will consist in a fight against it where you will have to resist its attacks for thirty seconds to pass the test!"

Hearing the headmaster and seeing his fake smile, Shu Himo immediately knew, 'He is lying, how much he is hiding I don't know, but I do not think that he has no knowledge on what that is.'

Meanwhile, the headmaster is attentively studying the expressions of the students, and while he noticed that Shu Himo's expression is slightly weird, he attributed it to the fact that he is going to fight it in a couple moments.

Nodding, he then smiled, "Very well, treasure this experience to fortify your heart even in front of this type of pressure. Now, the first that will try to fight against it will be Aura Azusa!"

Flying toward the flying island, Aura Azusa revealed a slightly hesitant look, but then she immediately acted by starting a chant.

"I shall order thee;

Come and wreak havoc;

Destroy those who dare point their blade at me;

For they shall not be forgiven;

Meteor."

A moment later, the sky divided in half revealing the entrance of a meteor aiming directly at Mt-3.

Met-3 directed his gaze toward the meteor and said, "Threat level: zero. Proceeding spell erasing." Raising his hand toward the sky, he then waited until the meteor reached him, and with a tight grip, crushed easily the meteor as if it was just a normal rock.

Surprisingly, Aura Azusa was not unfazed at all by it, as if she expected it before activating her spell, clearly she is just aiming to drag out the fight, only trying to reach the required thirty seconds.

Met-3 then looked toward Aura Azusa, seemingly studying her for a moment, and then said, "Enemy Threat Level: Unknown. Rac-"

*BOOM!*

Before anyone could react, Aura Azusa kicked Met-3, stopping it from continuing his phrase. Right now she is emitting a killing intent even stronger than when she fought against Shu Himo, and her expression is extremely wrathful. Her eyes are emitting both coldness and a hidden rage, aimed toward Met-3. If her gaze could kill, then everyone who saw her right now would undoubtedly die.

Abruptly, Met-3 reacted by throwing a punch toward her, a punch that may appear deadly even for some Nascent Soul realm experts, but Aura Azusa, seeing it, appeared unfazed at all and touched her own belly with her palm while chanting, "Space Shift." Suddenly, the surrounding space seemed to morph and she vanished for a moment, reappearing on the ground, dodging easily the punch.
