Entering the armory, the first thing Shu Himo noticed are two receptionists, both blonde sweet looking girl of the angel race.
Seeing them, he was stunned, 'Why is every receptionist in this world a sweet looking girl?'
[Why is the User even bothering about that?]
Not paying heed to the system, Shu Himo looked around the area and noticed that everything is gray, with some ornamentary weapons hang up on the walls. The floor is covered by a red carpet, but not of a normal red, and instead, it seems more like a red coming from hell, warning anyone to not come closer.
Seeing everything, Shu Himo nodded in acknowledgment, 'This is indeed a good place, it has a good atmosphere.'
[From when does the User care about that?]
'I always cared about it, that was rude.'
Walking toward the receptionist, Shu Himo was about to talk but got interrupted by her, "Hello, may I see your student badge? Only S class students are allowed in this armory, so you should go to the one on the right if you are from the D class to the A class." Indicating toward the other receptionist, the girl then stopped paying attention to Shu Himo, she clearly did not think that a child would be from the S class.
Witnessing her reaction Shu Himo is startled, does she not know that he is from the S class? Upon further thought, he realized to be in the S class from only a day, so it's normal that not everyone knows it.
Not having another choice, Shu Himo took out his rank S student seal, "Ehm, I am from the S class."
Hearing him, she shivered for a moment due to the surprise and abruptly turned around, clearly in shock. Staring for a couple seconds at the rank S student seal, she then sighed, and nodded, "Sorry for before, I will now explain everything you need to know about the armory."
Looking at Shu Himo, she started explaining, "In the armory, you can freely take any weapon you wish and test them on the designed area, lastly, once you come out you will then pay here to buy or to rent them. Also, please put them back in their former spot if you don't want them after you try them."
Nodding, Shu Himo then took out the coupon, "With this I can take a free weapon, right?"
Looking at the coupon, the receptionist is dumbfounded, just what is the background of this child? "Yes, with that you can take any weapon present in the armory. Also, take care inside."
Now knowing that the headmaster did not cheat him, Shu Himo went inside the armory with a smile on his face, even if he is a bit puzzled over the 'take care' from the receptionist. A moment later, he suddenly felt to pass through an invisible scanner, most likely a scanner trying to make sure of the veracity of the rank S student seal.
The scanner puzzled Shu Himo, 'Why does this world seem like if it was from the middle-ages, but from when I came in this school I find some devices that seem to possess the same level of technology of Earth?'
Hoping to receive an answer from the system, Shu Himo got disappointed by not hearing his voice, it seems that the system is still too stingy on information.
Entering the armory, he then looked around himself, and immediately noticed why this place requires to be in the S class. If outside there was an atmosphere that made someone feel about normal fights, inside there is one that makes feel about a war, a really fierce war, where anyone could die with no further notice. Such feeling could infer negatively against someone that has no preparation or willpower.
The floor seemed empty, with only plain gray smooth stones, but somehow those stones emit an eerie feeling that would make the most turn back and stop proceeding. On the walls there are all the weapons, clearly separated in sections, one for axes, one for swords, one for spears, and more others, even to the unusual weapons, like a nunchaku.
In the middle of the room, there is a dummy made of solidified water seemingly made to receive hits, 'Is that the designed area for test the weapons?'
[Most likely.]
Taking a random sword, Shu Himo went toward the dummy and promptly slashed toward it.
*Fss*
Cutting easily the dummy in half, Shu Himo immediately felt the difference between this sword and the one he was using before, 'This sharpness… while it is nothing compared to the scythe, it is not too bad!'
[Every weapon in this place is of the Earth quality, there is no way that a sword considered Scrap is comparable to them.]
'Earth quality?' Surprised for a moment, Shu Himo then smiled, 'A free earth quality weapon…'
Meanwhile, the dummy regenerated by itself, but Shu Himo did not bother about it and began looking around, wanting to find a decent weapon.

Outside, the three teachers are now having a small problem.
"We need to enter, please let us pass."
"No, you should know the rules, only a person at a time can enter this armory."
"Please do an exception, we have an important duty right now."
They are now discussing with the receptionist, trying to enter the armory, in fact, while they are teachers and have permission to enter, the rule state that only a single person is allowed inside at a time, so the receptionist is stopping them from entering since there is already Shu Himo.
"I already said I refuse, do you want me to call the guards?"
Hearing about the guards the teachers shivered, even if they are at Nascent Soul Realm, they have no way to beat a single guard.
"This is an extremely important mission, please let us pass." Clearly desperate, they do not want to give up, but they can't tell the receptionist their real mission so they can only plead.
"Now it's enough, wait outside, once the student gets out, I will let one of you enter." With her hand on top of the button, the receptionist threatened to call the guard for real.
Clearly dejected, the teachers could do nothing but walk away, waiting outside while filled in doubts, 'What is the point to enter if Shu Himo comes out? Why is this hard already in the first day of surveillance?'
