Changing Attitude [C113]

In front of the royal palace, the five finally stood at the entrance.

Walking over, Shu Himo got immediately stopped by a royal guard, "Halt, you can't enter here unless you have an invite, the nobles and the royal family are in a meeting."

Hearing the guard Shu Himo was startled, how was it possible that the report didn't reach yet the royal palace?

As if seeing through his puzzlement, Du Kun explained, "Since everything happened in the entrance to the noble area, we managed to stop the news, so that they would not be ready for us."

Shu Himo, knowing that the nobles didn't know about his arrival had an idea, what about with a good entrance in style? He then grinned, he clearly could not wait to do it.

The royal guard, noticing his expression felt his heart skip a beat, what was he going to do?

-----

In the royal palace of the Remir Capital. Inside a conference room.

Seated around an enormous table, over a hundred nobles were talking about the conquest of the Shu Kingdom, while the royal family was looking at them seated on their thrones.

"What do you think about the fact that we have to give the Shu Kingdom to the Arasura sect? Why do they want it?"

"I don't think it's a problem to let them take it… the expedition this time will consist of conquering more than twenty kingdoms, so we do not make any loss."

Hearing the noble, the other nodded in acknowledgment, it was indeed true that they would not make a loss out of it.

However, after hearing the next phrase, their all frowned in worry, "It's already more than a day that we don't receive news from the army… did something happen?"

They originally decided to assign someone to report the situation once a day… however the last report did not come yet, it was normal that they were worried.

However, one noble could not believe it, "Do you really think something would happen that could cause the annihilation of the army without any survivor left? That's impossible! Even if something could kill them, at least one or two would manage to escape and give back the report."

Hearing him, they all nodded, there was no way something happened… it was more probable that something happened to the one who was supposed to report back instead!

*Trr!*

Abruptly, someone rushed into the room, throwing open the large door.

Frowning in displeasure one of the nobles immediately said, "What are you doing here?"

However, a moment later seeing the face of the person who rushed in the room he was startled, what was happening? His expression seemed as tired as if he had run for the whole capital until reaching here.

Only a moment later did they notice that the man was actually a royal guard, why was he acting like that?

The man quickly pointed behind himself, toward the entrance while frantically trying to talk, "Ata- att- atta- HIIIIII!" Looking behind himself for a moment, his expression quickly turned terrified as he tried to use both arms and legs to run away, however, due to the panic he barely succeeded in dragging himself on the floor.

"Don't you know that it's rude to point at someone?" No one noticed when he came, but a child was smiling, in the entrance.

Taking a better look, the nobles noticed that he was not alone, and there were further four people behind him… however, two of those were part of the Remir Kingdom!

With a darkened complexion, the King coldly said, "What is happening?" Expecting the two to reply immediately, his expectations were betrayed, as who answered instead was the child.

"How lucky I am to find all of you here, it will make everything easier…" Mumbling to himself, he then looked at the King on the throne, "Anyway, you are the king of this place, right?" Not waiting for his reply, his eyes quickly turned cold, "Since you dared to bully my Shu Kingdom in my absence, today all of you will die here."

The overbearing voice of the child shocked everyone, however what really terrified them were his deep cold eyes that made them feel as if they were stared at by a dreadful fiend ready to slaughter them all.

Appalled, the King asked with a trembling voice, "Just… who are you?"

Coldly smiling, the child replied, "I am Shu Himo, the Supreme of the Shu Kingdom!"

The revelation terrified everyone, "Shu Himo? That Shu Himo who vanished for 5 years?"

Naturally, they all knew who Shu Himo was, as nobles of another kingdom they investigated on his identity and found out that he was the one who created the Shu Kingdom, taking over from the Arsia Kingdom after foiling another family's plan.

However… after vanishing for five whole years they thought that he died, and surely didn't think he would come back this strong!

All the nobles here were in the Dantian Core Formation realm, but seeing their frightened expression the King knew that they would not amount to anything in a fight.

Looking coldly toward the two who were supposed to be of the Remir Kingdom, the King coldly said, "Did you betray us?"

Hearing his question the two bowed, "Your Majesty, we are deeply sorry for this, but we had no choice but to submit to the Shu Kingdom."

Shu Himo, having noticed their politeness in front of the King, looked back and stared at them intensely.

The two shuddered when they realized he was watching them like that. Only now did they realize their mistake: now they were working for the Shu Kingdom, so how could they behave like that before another king?

Since they had to resolve this misunderstanding immediately, they both looked resolutely toward the King.

Suddenly, Tao Chao opened his mouth resolutely, "Why would someone useless like you even care about that?"

Du Kun, nodding to his words continued Tao Chao's phrase, "That's none of your business, old scoundrel!"

Listening to them the King spurted blood, 'What is wrong with both of you? And who are you calling old scoundrel?'

Meanwhile, Shu Himo seeing the expression of the King could not hold on anymore his laugh, "Hahahahaha! That change of attitude was fast!"

Even Aura Azusa and Phylia chuckled seeing this scene.

Reddened in rage, the King looked behind himself and said, "Quickly, teach them a lesson for daring to act like that!"

"Yes." A potent voice resounded in the room, giving shivers to anyone.

Calmly walking toward Shu Himo, a man came into view, revealing his cultivation realm in the Nascent Soul of the 5q-Prodige Soul.

Shu Himo, seeing him smirked and took out his scythe, ready to fight. However, his eyes abruptly widened in surprise and delight, while looking greedily at him.

The scythe finally deemed two people worthy!
