Kill Priority [C153]

In front of Aura Azusa, a small ball of fire appeared, quickly growing bigger, until it reached 20 centimeters in diameter. She then threw it toward Met-2, to test its resistance.

"Analyzing spell… threat level raised, low-level threat. The target obtained kill priority." Extending his mechanical hand toward the Solar Orb, Met-2 formed a small white sphere around it, continuously shrinking it, as if trying to stop the Solar Orb from exploding.

However, Shu Himo appeared behind it, already having his scythe ready for slash. He was annoyed, if Aura Azusa got the kill priority… wouldn't it be like losing to her?

As an answer, Met-2 abandoned the process of stopping the Solar Orb, jumping high in the sky while analyzing the scythe, "Detected abnormal sharpness of the weapon… mid-level threat. The target obtained kill priority."

Hearing its declaration Shu Himo smirked, while at the same time he took out the Essence Qi Clock, studying immediately the flow of the Essence Qi. An instant later, he took abruptly 4 formation rods and threw them in the ground.

Seeing his behavior, the man at the side was shocked, throwing four formation rods? Even if they were positioned perfectly, the only result of using just four formation rods was to obtain a flawed formation! Even the simplest formation require five rods, so how could he use four?

*Tud* *Tud* *Tud* *Tud*

Impaling on the ground, the formation rods surrounded perfectly the Solar Orb, trapping it within: it was an explosion seal formation! However, such a formation should require 15 formation rods to work!

As expected, a shield abruptly formed around the Solar Orb, yet when the Solar Orb exploded, the shield did not resist at all, appearing collapsing on itself.

A hole formed on top the shield, as it quickly loosened, however, the resulting effect was different from what anyone would expect: the explosion from the Solar Orb, as if guided from the hole was driven toward the sky, aiming toward the flying Met-2!

*BOOM!*

Shaking everything, the explosion appeared to bring the end of the world, as it landed on Met-2, forming an enormous ray of fire extending toward the sky.

The man was in disbelief, it worked?!

Gradually, the explosion subsided, as Met-2 came once again into view: apart from some superficial burns, it was unharmed!

The result made both Aura Azusa and Shu Himo frown, their opponent was too sturdy.

Suddenly, the analyzing voice of Met-2 drifted the air, "Analyzed magic spell: Solar Orb. Threat level: low. Resuming elimination process..."

Low?! Aura Azusa could not believe it, why was this Met-2 so bent on insulting others? Raising her hand toward it, she chanted, "Ice Corruption."

Suddenly, the air appeared to grow colder, as Met-2 was quickly covered by a layer of frost, slowing it. Yet, its answer was simply, "Ice Corruption spell detected. Proceeding spell resolving."

From its shoulders a white gas suddenly came out, surrounding Met-2 as it defrosted the ice, freeing Met-2 from the slowing effect.

The whole process needed barely two seconds, which may seem a short amount of time, yet, to Shu Himo it was enough to create his next formation: the Exploding Cannon Formation!

Clapping his hands, the formation abruptly started, accumulating Essence Qi. *Vrr* A soft sound resounded, as the air appeared to be absorbed in the formation, while the ground collapsed on itself.

*BOOM!*

As if propelling all the accumulated force, from the formation a tremendous blast charged toward Met-2, appearing as if it were about to destroy anything in its path. In the sight of everyone, there was an enormous pillar of fire, extending to the sky. Anyone in the radius of kilometers was staring at the pillar, both in surprise and in shock.

*Frr*

Amongst the noise from the blast, an almost imperceptible sound resounded, yet such faint sound proclaimed the existence of a shield, an invisible sphere around Met-2, which absorbed completely the impact from the exploding cannon formation.

The Longevity Realm expert seeing the shield was in disbelief, that shield was used by the Met-2 only when in presence of an attack deemed as 'high-threat'! Such strength required a cultivation of Longevity Realm, yet, to be made from a mere Dantian Core Formation simply by using a formation…

Thinking back at the strength of his own attacks he almost spurted blood, was Shu Himo perhaps a Longevity Realm expert came here to make a prank by posing as a Dantian Core Formation expert? Was there really a need to be such a bully, destroying the self-confidence of others?

Unbeknown to him, seeing that someone two realms lower than him was able to produce an attack of similar strength to his, made something inside of him break, as the word 'common-sense' gradually became fainter, seemingly about to dissipate.

A moment later, the burst from the explosion vanished, however, Met-2 was nowhere in sight.

Having a bad feeling, Shu Himo immediately took out his violin, and at the same moment, Met-2 appeared behind him sending a punch.

Frowning, Shu Himo used a stacked [Hopper_x4] backward, hoping to lessen the impact from the punch, as he used the violin like a shield.

"Ice Shield" As the chant from Aura Azusa echoed, an ice shield abruptly appeared around Shu Himo.

*Boom!*

The punch from Met-2 upon contact with the ice shield immediately shattered it, advancing toward Shu Himo as if the shield didn't exist. Even when meeting the violin the punch did not reduce its strength, easily sending him flying.

It was not for nothing that Met-2 had the same strength of a Longevity Realm, in front of it, Shu Himo had no way to resist at all.

Feeling the abrupt impact, Shu Himo felt pain in his chest as he spurted blood, being sent flying away.

The man seeing what happened looked dispirited, 'That's right, what did I expect... they are still too wea- WHAT?'

With eyes widened in shock, he noticed that around Met-2 there were ten formation rods, giving an extremely threatening feeling. Not only that, but around it, there wasn't just one- but four Solar Orbs!

Just when did he place those formation rods? And how did she make four magic spells at the same time?

The truth was, that while the exploding cannon formation halted the movements from Met-2, both Shu Himo and Aura Azusa made their preparations, all to bait Met-2 into entering a trap!

While Shu Himo simply placed the formation rods, Aura Azusa used a small trick, which consisted on 'delay' the explosion of every Solar Orb she made, setting all of them to explode together. Something like that required an outstanding talent in magic—which was the reason vampires were deemed as experts in it.

Seeing that Met-2 fell in the trap, Shu Himo smirked as he softly clapped his hands, activating the formation.

Suddenly, the formation began accumulating Essence Qi, until it suddenly exploded! It was an Exploding Trap Formation! At the same time, the four Solar Orbs quickly expanded, blinding everything with their light.

Not having a way to evade the attack, Met-2 could only stay still helplessly, trying to defend itself. Or at least, that's what they thought.

In reality, its robotic voice resounded, as its eyes became purple, "Dangerous situation detected… consuming energy to strengthen the unit… shield strengthened. Remaining energy: 23%. Time until the energy will be depleted… 37 seconds. Initiating the extermination of the threats."
