Hearing that he was worshipped by someone, Shu Himo froze.
Since when someone would worship others for no reason? With such a thought in mind, he closed his eyes and fell deep in thought, 'Just what did I do to gain a worshipper?'
After a careful reflection, his eyes suddenly opened. On his face grew a smirk, as he snapped his fingers having finally discerned the reason.
'Am I emanating some sort of divine aura? The kind of aura that attracts the masses?' He nodded to himself, that was the only reasonable explanation that he could come up.
[The system doesn't get why the User explains everything by referring to some special aura that doesn't exist.]
'Eh? It doesn't?' Shu Himo was stunned. 'If such an aura doesn't exist, then why someone started to worship me?'
[Does it even matter?]
Seeing how the system didn't care about such an important matter, Shu Himo sighed.
'A worshipper, eh? Who knows who it is...'
[Having a worshipper is not always a positive thing as the User believe.]
'Eh?'
[There are some that attempts to kidnap the one they worship, to pray all the day in front of them... there are others that kill all the close ones to the worshipped because they believe that they are not worthy... and many other interesting examples…]
'Interesting?!' Hearing the examples from the system, Shu Himo felt a shiver going down his back.
Shaking his head to not think about it, he looked toward Yubei Kelos, "About how much time will we need to get to the Shu Kingdom?"
"Actually…" Yubei Kelos scratched his head. "I forgot to tell the others to stop the ship while we did the test, so we may need a while." He gave a dry laugh, but he then added, "However, there is no need to worry, the ship is quite fast."
"Need a while…" Shu Himo mumbled to himself. 'After we talk to Pyrus Ignait… what should I do to pass the time?'
At that moment, Yubei Kelos suddenly felt a shiver going down his back, 'Was it just my imagination?'
-----
The Shu Kingdom, in the plaza of the capital. The sky was dark, and, while it would be already the time where most would be sleeping, the commoners and some cultivators were standing at the sides of the plaza, staring at the many figures in it, fearful of what may happen.
Those hundreds of figures stood in the middle of the plaza, divided into Longevity Realm experts, Met-3 and Met-2. They were conversing with each other while waiting for someone to tell them what do do.
While the experts still bore resentment toward their opponents, they knew that both Met-3 and Met-2 were mere tools, replaceable with some materials, while if they died, it would be a huge loss for everyone. Not having another choice, they could only wait for the return of Shu Himo, as he was the only one they knew would come there.
Even if Shu Himo was just in the Nascent Soul realm, based on the previous interactions with the strongest experts and the talent he displayed, they decided that unless they received an order from the higher-ups, they would hear his opinion.
While all the Met-3 and the Met-2 would attack everyone by default, the Demon King's last given command was 'Stop', so not having any new command they were simply standing still analyzing their surroundings.
Staring at them, the commoners and the low-realm cultivators felt truly at loss. Until a few hours before, they were hearing continuously noises of explosions outside the walls… but the sound suddenly stopped.
As no one attacked the capital afterward, they believed to have won the war, but… no one would have expected to suddenly see the experts together with enormous metal humanoids marching inside the capital, going to the plaza and... standing still for whole five hours...
Shu Mo, Shu Ashey, and Shu Aria were at a side of the plaza, unsure on what to do. They were talking with Shu Eitha, who explained to them what Shu Himo did...
Shu Mo and Shu Ashey felt their legs weak, their son only left for a week… and he had already messed up the whole world? Did he have to be so exaggerated?
Even Shu Aria was astonished, every time Shu Himo came back, he would make a bigger mess!
Meanwhile, Shu Eitha sighed. Due to the order from the headquarters he had never revealed his strength, planning to hide it unless he or his family members were at risk, but…
He surely did not expect that the other Longevity Realm experts would be the ones who revealed themselves instead!
To march in the streets and then stay in the plaza for many hours… did they become idiots after being exposed to Shu Himo's actions?
While everyone wondered where Shu Himo was, they suddenly heard the noise of an explosion coming from afar and quickly turned their heads toward it.
"Everyone, look up!" Exclaimed an expert, pointing the sky. "The flying ship from before appeared again!"
"Shu Himo should be coming here now, right?" Another expert wondered.
"But…" A third expert had a confused expression. "Why is the ship on fire?"
