Bloody Success

So far I've killed six of the thirteen enemies, the leader Razorwind was rallying his six other henchmen for all of them to attack me together. I would have been in trouble if I planned to fight fairly in the beginning but I think this sword battle has gone on long enough. Sarah has also finished as alll the men in the watch towers have been kille with each one having a bloody hole in their forehead.

I stab my right sword into the ground and pull out one of my plasma pistols out from underneath my coat and aim towards one of the six henchmen. I fire one shot and prepared to move onto the next but they scattered quickly after the first guy died.

"Hurry up and find cover, he's got a gun!" Yelled Razorwind hoping to save as many of his swordmen allies as possible.

I just stood there calmly firing at the running men; I was able to kill another two before they all hid behind cover leaving only four enemies which included the boss, Razorwind.

"I told you, your a coward running and hiding away from someone that has killed so many of your people today!" I try to bait him out of cover wanting to end this life with a single bullet.

"I'm no coward, just smart enough not to follow your simple provocation when you have a gun!" He reply's back as I sigh with regret

"Well looks like this will end badly for you, as a gun is not the only weapon I have here." I pull out a thermal shrapnel grenade, i press the ignite button and throw towards where Razorwinds voice came from.

It took a moment and then a large heat filled explosion ensues where I had thrown the grenade. A loud scream also follows after the explosion, I walk over there to see a bloody corpse filled with small metallic shards. His entire back is charcoaled black from the heat of the explosion.

""Boss Razorwind"" the other three jump out from cover running towards me hoping that their boss is still alive and rescue him.

I fire one round straight through one of their skulls, I swing my left sword to block the two incoming blades. I fire multiple rounds into the gut of both henchmen in front of me until they lose strength and fall backwards. With all enemies dead I look around at the bloody scene that shows many corpses spread about.

I meet up with Sarah back at the ship, and make contact with Jax via comms. He said that he was able to rescue the boy and had only came across two enemies which he felt with accordingly. He is already awaiting us aboard the Evanescent.

"Alright mission success! Let's head back up and celebrate." I enthusiastically tell Sarah as I climb into the cockpit.

We flew up out of the planet, and landed in the hangar. We got out of the plane only to see Jax comforting the kid he just rescued. I feel like Jax is actually a caring the kid more with his big body build, but oh well I don't really care about the kids mental state.

"Hey Jax, your taking care of he kid on he way to his home world. By the way, which planet are we taking him back too?" I look at him hoping it's another fun planet like this one.

"It's the capital planet of the Falx Empire, Flaxia." He says while patting the head of the little boy.

"Damnit, I really don't want to go there. I hope the current Emperor does not realize I'm on the planet or I'm gonna have a big headache." I sigh and then activate the wrist comms that only work inside the ship." ADP, set course to Flaxia. Also don't cause any trouble when we get there."

As Zen's ship the Evanescent started its journey to the core of the Empire, there was an inconspicuous little ship that slowly and quietly followed behind the Evanescent without anyone noticing.
