Quijie's Training (2)

Quijie waved Shi Rong to come closer. Shi Rong walked slightly closer towards Quijie. "My dear master I am afraid my transparent form can no longer handle being exposed to this world, I must return to the pavilion, I highly urge you to return with me as well."

Shi Rong nodded and slowly began to seep into the pavilion with Quijie. Once inside she was met once more by the large beautiful courtyard. The large statue of the beautiful woman in a grand posture was gone. The ground was still intact as if it was never there to begin with.

Shi Rong looked puzzled as she stared at the center of the courtyard. "Quijie whatever happened to the large grand statue."

Quijie looked towards the center and smiled slightly. "It has simply moved now enough about that we must begin."

Shi Rong nodded.

"Soul Manifestation or Soul Transportation is an ancient technique lost long ago amongst the mass death of soul masters during the great overlord war."

Shi Rong grew confused. "Great Overlord War?"

Quijie nodded. "Mhm yes, The Great Overlord War was a bloodbath between Humans, Demons, Angels, Heavenly Divine Beasts, DemiHumans and Soul Masters all for the control of the now Four Peak Mainlands and its many secrets. Two powerful cultivators single handedly defeated the raging armies with extreme violence and bloodshed leading to a mass slaughter of once then powerful cultivators and the annihilation of soul masters, gravely injuring the Heavenly Beasts and drawing the Angels and Demons towards desolate lands."

"Who were these two powerful cultivators?"

Quijie glanced up into the sky with a sly smile. "I believe we are falling behind my lady."

Quijie walked towards the middle of the courtyard and paused in his footsteps turning around to face Shi Rong. "The key to soul manifestation is to focus on your flow of Qi energy and merge it with your soul to give it a base form or a transparent formation and focus on where you want it manifest."

Quijie pointed at one of the large statues of Hui Mian near a corner. "I want you to manifest your soul next to that statue."

Shi Rong nodded.

She began focusing on her Qi flow to try and merge it with her soul. Sweat began pouring from her face as she struggled. She groaned as she tried to lock the two together.

A partial face began to form near the statue but it quickly disappeared.

Shi Rong wheezed as she hunched over to catch her breath.

"My lady there is no rush this technique is quite difficult to master."

"No...need." Shi Rong heaved then immediately stood up straight. She took a big breath and tried again.
