Relentless Overlord General

"No...need." Shi Rong heaved then immediately stood up straight. She took a big breath and tried again.


This time she concentrated fully and released any outside distractions or uneasy nervous feelings. Once again she strained and struggled to disconnect her soul from her body and split it in two. Her Qi energy violently clashed against her soul causing internal pain. She winced in discomfort as she continued to try again and again.


Shi Rong stood in a pool of sweat as she panted heavily. A slight manifestation of her upper body stood by the statue very faintly with a crooked expression.


Quijie yawned as he sat crossed legged in the middle of the courtyard. He looked up at the still brightened sky. "My lady really now there's no rush to perfect this skill. how about we try again tomorrow?"


Shi Rong glared at him then cleared her mind once again.


Her Qi energy successfully merged with her soul as it slowly manifested by the statue when it took on a full transparent form she breathed a sigh of relief.


Shi Rong jumped in shock from the voice coming from inside her body. Her soul crashed back into her causing her body to violently jump back as she crashed to the ground in extreme agony.


She cried out in pain as her heart felt like it was going to split in two. She felt a violent ripping sensation from inside her body as she thrashed and rolled around in a cold sweat.


Suddenly the feeling quickly disappeared. Quijie stood over Shi Rong concerned and gasped. The upper part of Shi Rongs beautifully black left eye turned a bright shade of red. Electricity crackled on the inside.


Quijie stared at her eye astonished. Her eye turned back to normal. Quijie smiled shyly at the young girl with great happiness.


Shi Rong weakly stood up. She touched her chest as she felt a strange flow of Qi energy surging through her body.


Quijie glanced at Shi Rong. A sharp light quickly flashed through his evil pink eyes before it disappeared. He rubbed one of the small horns on his head and cleared his voice. "My dear master would you like to resume your training for you have finally managed to successfully form a perfect soul manifestation.


Shi Rong starred at Quijie and reluctantly nodded her head yes. No matter what she must become stronger to protect those that she loves.


She once again focused on her Qi energy as she began her training.
