Relentless Overlord General

Shi Rong squinted her eyes as she walked passed the study towards the stairs leading to the dungeon. Emperor Shi remained trembling in fear the whole time suddenly collapsed to the ground from fright as he turned ghastly pale.


She descended the stairs towards the dungeon and ran down the once dark corridors. With her abilities seeing through the darkness was an easy task. She ran through the corridors towards a nearby dungeon when she saw a figure inside.


She immediately ran forward and pulled the bars apart as she slipped inside.


Lin Shaoze laid on the ground with his body bound by magical chains blocking his inner Qi energy deeming him useless. His hair laid covered in sweat as he laid on the ground unconscious.


Shi Rong used her mental energy to break the chains and pulled him over her shoulders onto her back as she turned around to run down the corridor once more.


She neared a cell with a figure leaned against a wall. "Yan'er?" Shi Rong asked weakly as she sliced the bars with the naginata.


Shi Yan laid against the wall weakly as she inhaled slowly. Every breath felt like needles pricking her throat as her heart clenched and tightened in her chest causing her to let out low whimpers of pain.


Her once soft black hair now laid wildly stuck to her wet face. Her body was covered in a thin white gown which barely covered her legs as she shivered in the cold. Her hands were tied together by a magical Qi bounding robe.


Two large holes were displayed on her neck from where the poison was injected.


Shi Rong's heart clenched as she walked closer towards Shi Yan. She gently laid Lin Shaoze down as she walked closer and touched her wrist lightly feeling her faint pulse.


"Such a powerful poison!" She whispered.


Quijie stirred from inside her soul. "My dearest master this position can be cured but at a price."


Quijie smiled evilly. he raised his red oval eyebrows and stroked his ponytail as he laid cascaded across as lion skinned chair. "The price is a new body for me to inhabit within the human world, however the location of the perfect body and the ingredients for the cure to this poison is rather dangerous."


Shi Rong starred at Shi Yan softy with watery eyes. "Yan'er….."


"Quijie I don't care about the danger just tell me what I need to accomplish."


Quijie sat up from the chair inside the pavilion. "Very well. You will need to travel to the South Peak Mainland into the Duan Qin Realm under the Jing Chi Mountain where the Semi-Angels dwell and search for a list of ingredients I shall provide being that you make it there safely."
