Relentless Overlord General

Ling Yiyao strolled inside the cell and placed his hand gently on Shi Rongs trembling shoulders.


"Rong'er the situation outside has been taken care of with Hui Mian and Xiandi standing guard." He spoke gently then glanced at Shi Yan. He tried to pull the trembling girl into his embrace but she pulled away.


"Yiyao grab Lin Shaoze and Yan'er and follow me, I want her to witness me enacting revenge on her behalf." She spoke coldly and turned around on her heels walking cooly out the cell towards the stairs.


They returned to the hallway where Shi Tians paralyzed body was still lying. Emperor Shi remained unconscious inside the study with a trickle of drool sliding down the corner of his mouth.


Shi Tian moved her eyes towards Shi Rong as her face twisted in anger. Suddenly they landed on the overly handsome man by her side.


Shi Tians eyes sparkled as she watched the man. A sinister light flashed through her eyes as she displayed a helpless expression. 


"Help me this shameless and evil woman has harmed the 2nd princess Shi Tian and is an enemy of the Genji Tiger Country. She has even gone as far as to render the Emperor unconscious. Certaintanly your efforts would be rewarded with the marriage of a princess or a seat in power should you choose to take down this evil wrench." Shi Tian spoke helplessly as her lips trembled.


Ling Yiyao glanced at Emperor Shi and the frozen Shi Tian.


Shi Tian laughed maniacally internally as she sneered to herself. "Just you watch Shi Rong this man will clearly come to the aid of the Imperial family!"


Ling Yiyao stared at the young girl disinterested as he cradled Shi Yan in his arms. Lin Shaoze hung loosely over his shoulders as he stood there.


Shi Tians face sanked when she noticed him carrying the two. Her heart trembled with fear as she stared into her deep purple eyes. She felt the bone chilling murderous aura.


She screamed internally. "DEMONNNN THIS MAN CAN'T BE HUMAN WITH SUCH BLOODLUST!"


Her face turned yellow as she quickly wanted to back away in fear. Shi Rong glanced down at the patehic girl then heard faint sounds of the emperor groaning as he slowly began to sit up.


"Yiyao watch Shi Tian while I handle to Emperor for a moment."


Ling Yiyao nodded as the girl stepped into the study.


Emperor Shi noticed the girl walking in and trembled as he scrambled away quickly bumping into a bookshelf. A few books fell from the shelf and slammed violently unto the floor.
