Relentless Overlord General

A cold glare appeared on Shi Rongs face. "If this fails it'll just cripple us both, are you willing to take that chance?"


Her past self smirked confidently. "So what if you become crippled I can always order Quijie to fix our body or Ling Yiyao will!"


She sat down once more to meditate. "I have started time in the dream realm, you have until sundown before your rendered a cripple by your own self failure. Begin!"


The chains immediately pulled Shi Rong to the ground. Her face slammed into  the dirt cheek first as she felled a strong sensation forcing her Qi energy from her body. She struggled as she pulled her body up. she immediately stopped due to the pain of her arms nearly being torn off from the force.


A large amount of energy exploded from her body as she grew a level weaker. The chains slammed her further into the ground creating a small crater. Her forehead and back broke out into a cold sweat.


She started to pull up once more but fell down on her face in pain.


Shi Rongs eyes widened in revelation. She centered her Qi energy into the center of her chest and release it all at once. 


Her body blasted from the ground as she stood hunched over on her feet. By now her power scale was that of a Martial Emperor. The chains held the power scale of a Martial Honor. She looked into the sky to see the different shades of colors as the sun slowly started to set.


She slowly pulled her heavy body up and began trying to pull the chains apart from her body.


Her past self smirked as she mediated. "When are you going to learn?"


Shi Rong looked up. She turned to the side where the naginata sat pinned into the ground.


The naginata wiggled then dashed towards Shi Rong. It roared and blasted the chains away from her arms. She grabbed the handle and swung down at her legs severing the chains just in time for the sun to completely set.


She heaved a sigh of relief then fell over on her side as she winced and wheezed in pain.


A large storm cloud appeared over her head as she broke through to a High-Level Martial Ruler.
