Relentless Overlord General

Quijie walked away back into the banquet towards Shi Rong. "Master I have returned from your assignment."


Shi Rong looked ahead at the departing guests. "And what have you learned?"


Quijie spoke slowly. "I have learned the eldest daughter plans on trying to court Master Ling as well, however her intentions are to destroy the Zhi family and the youngest sibling. The father is also planning on killing you and little lord Mo Yu in order to rid any obstacles with Master Ling."


Shi Rong arched her eyebrow and smiled sweetly. "Is that so, well I guess we have to show them what happens when they cross my path and those I care about, but we must be careful considering how cunning they are so I shall call on Hui Mian to aid me in this minor setback."


Quijie kowtowed to Shi Rong. "As you wish." He walked behind a nearby pillar and disappeared back into the Heavenly Pavilion undetected.


Shi Rong glanced towards Ling Yiyao and spoke loud enough for Mo Yu, Hui Mian and Xiandi to hear. "We shall no make our way to find lodging for the night, however we have urgent matters to attend to before resting for the night."


They walked elegantly towards the door where Master Zhi and Zhi Yue were standing escorting the guests out. Shi Rong stopped in front Master Zhi waiting for a group of women to pass.


Master Zhi glanced at Shi Rong with a vicious glare but quickly retracted it into a gentle grin. "My dear lady I humbly apologize for any inconvenience my daughter has caused to you however you have something my daughter is interested in and I hope the matter can be settled quickly, please enjoy the rest of your evening."


Shi Rong glanced at Master Zhi and Zhi Yue. "Her interest is none of my concern but I must warn you I am a vengeful person keep that in mind when making possible sinister plans."


Master Zhi felt his heart pound fearfully as he stared into the girls overly calm eyes.


Zhi Yue glanced at Shi Rong and stared at Ling Yiyao with a soft tender gaze. "You must first acquire power in order to keep me away from my beloved. Just because you have a child doesn't mean you hold a status higher than me for he is a child from another marriage and I can bear him children of his own flesh and blood with a glorious background from the Zhi family."


Mo Yu glared at Zhi Yue. "You ugly troll who isn't even fit to be called a beast how dare you sprew such words about my beloved mother and perverted father. Your wicked heart knows no bounds first you frame a child now you wish to break a family apart. I hope your death is slow and painful you wicked ugly man!"


Zhi Yue immediately frowned at Mo Yu's words.
