Alchemy

[Alchemy +1]

Description: a book that upgrades Basic level Alchemy to Intermediate level. It's basically an alchemy intermediate upgrade book.

"Damn... It would've taken me maybe about 4 or 5 days to upgrade to intermediate level... but now,wtf... System... I mean boss, you're sooo good... you've thought of everything ahead of time for me... . Everytime I think there couldn't possibly be more surprises... you surprise me again." Said Ren happily.

[Hmph... It's nothing. You have seen nothing yet you're sooo surprised... how would you feel when I ... . Well forget about it for now. You will know about it soon enough anyway.]

'It seems the system plans to do something... .' thought Ren.

[You mean Boss.]

'... .Yes sir... Boss.😑' he corrected his thought.

'Now I should go learn Basic Alchemy from the Alchemy Trainer.' Ren decided to go to the Alchemy Trainer in the Village and begin his money making in the game.

No one knew who the Alchemy Trainer NPCs were exactly or where they were at, as they were rare and accepted only one or two disciple each.

Obviously that was not the case for Ren. He knew exactly who the Alchemy Trainer was in this village and what to do to make him like Ren.

Finding them were like finding a Hidden Quest and you had to make them like you to accept you as their desciple and teach you basic alchemy.

There were different ways to learn Basic Alchemy from them, Sometimes you had to trigger and complete a Quest for them and the reward would be Basic Alchemy and sometimes you just had to make them like you to teach you Basic Alchemy.

Ren's case was the latter as he just had to do something to make the Alchemy Trainer like him.

He started walking towards the south side of the Village. At the South side of the Village he went inside a bar.

Ren looked around inside the bar untill he found an old man drinking like there was no tomorrow, he was clearly in great despair as if he had already lost the most important thing to himself.

Ren walked to him and stopped right behind him. Ren could hear him mumble "how do I earn money so fast... I only have a day... and then my son's gonna die. Because of that poison... damn it, why did he have to encounter that poisonous snake...what do I do now? It's impossible for me to earn 50 Gold Coins in day to buy the ingredients for making the antidote... ." as The Alchemy Trainer was mumbling these in a voice so low no one would hear and notice unless they were right beside him and listened carefully, Ren patted his shoulders.

"Old man... I heard you talking to yourself... You seem to be in need of some immediate money... . Here take these 50 Gold Coins and go save your son." Said Ren making a worried expression like he was truly saddened by the Alchemy Trainer's son being poisoned, but inside he was laughing outloud as he thought narcissistically 'I must be acting so cool right now... hahaha.'

The Alchemy Trainer was startled by Ren's apperance then he was stunned as he couldn't believe someone would just appear and help him out of nowhere.

He came to himself afterward and grew worried because he knew there were no free lunches in this world. 'This man must have an ulterior motive.' he thought.

"What do you want for helping me?" asked the Alchemy Trainer with a serious and worried face.

as Ren could guess what the old man was worried about and knew he shouldn't ask anything directly from him in return for his help as it would ruin the reward, he said "Old man... a man doesn't find happiness unless he tries to give others happiness. I have no ulterior motive whatsoever. just trying to form a bit of good karma."

"here take this Gold pouch there are 50 Gold Coins inside... I hope your son recover's fast." as Ren said these saintly words he turned around as he started walking towards the exit of the bar but as he took two or three steps.

"BENEFACTOR WAIT... ." came the old man's loud voice from behind him.

An evil grin formed on Ren's face but then it disappeared like it was never there and then it was replaced by the same genuinely worried face he had before as he turned around. "Listen old man I told you I don't want anything from you just go and save your son's ... ." Ren was saying.

But the old man interrupted him "I know ... I believe you... but I can't give anything in return for my benefactor... please let me at least teach you my most precious skill Alchemy...as you're saving my most precious treasure, my son."

"Well... It's not like I did it for the reward but if you insist... okay." Ren immediately accepted shamelessly. Even the old man NPC was a little speechless inside, but he was happy he accepted.

[You have learned Basic Level Alchemy.]

"Hahahahahaha... ." Ren started laughing out loud with an evil face which startled the old man greatly.

The old man started to doubt if he had done the right thing by teaching him alchemy... he thought maybe Ren wanted to learn his Alchemy and he was deceived by this evil person but there was nothing he could do anymore as he had already taught everything.

"Now it's time to improve my alchemy by leaps and bounds... ." as Ren said this he took out [Alchemy +1] and used it immediately.

[Your [Basic Level Alchemy] has been upgraded to [Intermediate Level Alchemy], congratulations.]

"Hahaha ... . It feels so great to improve quickly I'm too OP... I'm gonna be rich now!" said Ren outloud. The people watching him from the game company's side were probably cursing him for being so narcissistic.

[As you are the first player to reach [Intermediate Level Alchemy] your name will be announced in the world announcement system. Do you want to hide your name?]

'Oh I almost forgot there was something like this too for the first person who reaches the intermediate level... ' Ren thought a little surprised.
