Astral died because of heat stroke after overworking himself while wearing a mascot on their company's summer event. After dying, he woke up in a dark place and there were people like him there who died as well. They were all set to be reincarnated to different worlds after receiving an ability that will help them with their destiny. The god started to reincarnate people and give gifts which are called 'system'. A binding light covered Astral after that sentence finished and this is how the story of the "Ultimate God of the 96 Universes" started.
