In a future where humanity has already conquered the galaxy, a whole new realm of mystery and horrors beyond human comprehension opens up to them, the Primordial Expanse.
For as long as he could remember, Alex worked in the mines of an asteroid so desolate it didn't even have a name. But to him, this was home.
He knew that his future held nothing for him and he would die a lonely and forgotten death just like everyone else stuck on this godforsaken rock.
That was, until one day he wakes up to the realisation that he would die soon, as the Primordial Expanse called for him.
This mysterious realm is a place of promise and opportunity for many, but for people from the slums of society like Alex, it was only a curse that almost always guaranteed death.
Follow Alex on his journey though the Primordial Expanse as he navigates his way through battles, trials and enemies to carve out a space for himself at the peak of the universe.

the author took huge inspiration from "Shadow Slave" and then made it entirely their own... This story is awesome, worth reading and adding to your library!

I was tremendously enjoying the story and looking forward to how far the MC can go. But I just couldn't anymore. The world building was decent, with showing that both worlds are different enough and have different societies. It's basically a cut and paste of the beginning of and rough semantics of Shadow Slave, something the autor himself admitted. But the MC is just stupid. Repeatedly. Constantly forgets abilities he has, and has so many Ex Machinas to save his life in fights he should have no business participating in. Then you're constantly slapped in the face, over and over, about how special MC is. Like how much stronger for his level he is, and how much potential he has compared to others.
bro NGL i haven't read the novel but the cover is sick man
Its good. Felt a little like shadow slave but thats not a bad thing. The pacing is great to.
[Alert Spoiler - Cap 121] Does the MC have a hero complex, or is he just stupid? This cave arc is really annoying me—I was really enjoying this story, but now I'm not sure if I should continue. I'll probably read a few more chapters, though... Why is the MC going to fight someone he knows almost nothing about, who has a high chance of killing him? To save people in a world he knows very little about? It's worth noting that he can already return to his own universe—he's completed his objective. He could even just go train somewhere else if he doesn't want to go back yet... But no, he prefers to risk his life constantly and in every possible way.

Too All the Critc on this book, You all keep forgetting that the MC and FL are supposed to be 18 years who practically have no live experience or childhood to speak of, and you expect them to be some all-knowing, sagely and perfect MC but to me I think the author is not wrong the MC is supposed to flawed make mistakes contradict himself and learns as he goes he lived 17 years alone as a glorified slave and wondering when his next meal would come instead of actually being a child and then a teenager so obviously those traits would show up now it can be clearly seen that his actions his him try to over compensate all the things he missed. and as for him trusting Mira so soon again, like I said before, they are children with no experience to how relationship work no ever told them about proper communication and all that, your problem is that you were looking for some edgy kid who uses lies and deceit go through like which does not make sense because at the end of the day regardless of how much power they have the are still kids you are saying Mira is unlikable and all that nonsense because she spied on him but ask yourself what do you expect a child who knows practically nothing about normal relationships, talkless of romantic relationship to do she spied on him because the cared and as bad as spying it can be seen clearly as she did it because she didn't know better and thankfully she was properly educated that all the MC and FL needs proper adult guidance before they become to powerful to consider it for now regardless of all their power and talent they are still children and just children but teenagers with raging hormones and even worst they never got release those hormones all and are doing it at once now.
I love most aspects of this novel, except one thing.. the romance, and how much of an idiot the protagonist is. he kills a king class beast and is severely injured at the end, and knows his orbs can heal and help him recover, yet he doesn't use them and just the story brushes over that. Mira is an annoying aspect of the story as well, and their reactions to things differ each time. He saw people die, felt nothing and didn't care, but then later he saw the same thing and he got depressed and sad and thinking about life just so the novel can give him a special moment with Mira, which kept happening more than once. Nothing is consistent as their characters/personalities changes depending on the novel. The Author is an idiot that just writes as he goes, the only redeeming part of the novel is the world and his cheat, other than that, the characters make no sense sometimes and the romance or interaction with Mira makes no sense as well, like after knowing each other for a few months, he says she's like family and tells her his secrets, even though she is such an unlikable person as she spies on him when he doesn't tell her what he's hiding. The relationship aspect and Mira are a 0/10
Its not everyday I come across novels this bad, riddled with so many plot holes. The MC remains a complete dimwit yet somehow unravels so-called "genius" schemes that are nothing more than painfully obvious setups. Characters appear out of nowhere, with no explanation of how they got there, as if the story itself forgets about continuity. Their behaviors are inconsistent, often defying logic, making it impossible to take any of them seriously.
A pretty good and interesting story , the fights are not dragged too much which is what I like. The characters are fleshed out and have different personalities , the bad guys or the villains are not dumb they have their own schemes and stuff. The mc is a teenager who was not exposed to the outer world so he is a little naive but certainly not dumb and he adapts very quickly so him being dumb won't be a problem . Overall a pretty interesting story and good easy to read writing make it a must read if you like these types of story. Pretty excited to see where this story will go. SPOILER AHEAD !!! Message for Author - Keep going Author your work is certainly a top tier , Also I like the way how Alex and Mira relationship is going . I would certainly like to see their relation grow more . And maybe how they fight together in duo .
Pros ; Good story, likable and relatable MC and FL, well written, well paced. Cons; The author can't be trusted to finish this book, which will leave you in frustrations, he/she isn't dedicated enough, no consistency to how and when the chapters will be updated, does not engage in the comment to share his thoughts and carry fans along, have a bad history abandoned a book, can't be trusted to be committed and focus on finishing this book, this is how thousands of dropped books are out there scattered all over the places. Read at your own risk and be left in possible frustration.
