What’s up everybody, Patriarch of the Awe Sect here 🫡🫡 I feel like I improve every time I write a new book and GA is my sixth project now, so you can expect good things. I said it before, but I certainly believe it’s the best I’ve ever written This novel was inspired by novels like Super Gene and The Lord’s Empire, taking tidbits from them that I liked and expanding them in the Spec Universe way. The system is fleshed out and unique, there will be intriguing mystery and spine tingling twists, and while this story will have kingdom building elements, it’s first and foremost an action adventure with such things merely being a backdrop. Sylas, our main character, is sharp and focused, but he isn’t stoic to the point of be unsociable or cold. He has a lot to learn, but much like with my other mcs, he’ll eventually rise to the top. Collecting Genes, breaking stat and gene limits, alien invasions and ancient civilizations… add on a sprinkle of mono-romance and you have GA. I’m looking forward to writing Sylas’ story!!
Just like all of Awespec's works pure gold this is his take on litrpg. check list: cool abilities, interesting gear, pending apocalypse, high IQ character, interesting twists, unique way to power-up.
This novel stands out as a remarkable example of the genre, offering readers a richly woven tapestry of imaginative world-building, intricate character design, and exceptional writing. From the very first page, it becomes clear that the author has invested great care in crafting a universe that feels both expansive and intimate, filled with unique cultures, landscapes, and lore. The protagonist is a brilliant and highly intelligent character whose actions and decisions are consistently portrayed with depth and realism. The author's ability to depict such a character convincingly is commendable, as it is not an easy feat to write someone who is genuinely smarter than most of those around them. This intelligent portrayal adds a layer of sophistication to the narrative, making it both engaging and thought-provoking. Character development is another highlight of this book. Each character, from the main cast to the supporting roles, is well-rounded and compelling. Their individual arcs are interwoven seamlessly with the plot, resulting in a story that feels organic and dynamic. The relationships and interactions between characters are particularly well-done, adding emotional depth and authenticity to the story. The world-building in this novel is nothing short of spectacular. The author has created a setting that is both fantastical and believable, with detailed descriptions that bring every scene to life. The magic system, political structures, and cultural elements are all carefully thought out, providing a rich backdrop against which the story unfolds. This level of detail enhances the immersion, making the reader feel like a part of this extraordinary world. The writing style is another strength of the book. The prose is eloquent and evocative, striking a perfect balance between descriptive richness and narrative drive. The pacing is well-judged, with a blend of action, suspense, and quieter, character-driven moments. This ensures that the story remains engaging throughout, keeping the reader hooked from beginning to end. In summary, this novel is a triumph of storytelling, combining exceptional world-building, intelligent character design, and beautiful writing. It is a must-read for fans of the genre, offering a reading experience that is both intellectually stimulating and deeply satisfying. The author has truly excelled in creating a book that stands out in the crowded fantasy landscape.
It's not very good, I read 800 chapters. I have no idea how this book is top 5 on Webnovel, so lets go over all the problems 1) Chapter are too short: Kinda arbitrary, and maybe it's because I've been reading on RR for the past month, but the chapters are very short. Also some of them are just status screens. I would be enraged if I spent money for a whole chapter of just status screens. 2) It's too complicated. At the beginning we are introduced to the Status screen and it is filled with like 3 different ways of leveling up. Now this might be fine later in the novel, but this is only the beginning chapters. The author claims that he took inspiration from Super Gene and The Lord's Empire. Now I haven't read much of Super Gene (only like 50 chapters), but I have read The Lord's Empire. If the author wants to implement both systems, I do not see how that is a good system. The power system of The Lord's Empire was incredibly complicated and didn't make much sense after about 500 chapters. but to add the Super Gene system on top of that? What a recipe for disaster... 3) The way the author writes. The author can't seem to figure out a way to balance the MC so he just intentionally nerfs him. Like he enters a dungeon and was incredibly successful? Sike! Everyone else was training for 3 months while he was in there for only three days, so he isn't actually that powerful. What a stupid way to balance the MC, not to mention that this happens like 3 times. The author also comes up with other ways the MC gets nerfed, some of which he walks right into. Quite concerning considering the MC is supposed to be a super genius. 4) The MC has too much stacked against him. Like I understand the MC needs some enemies, but basically the whole Universe is against him for being talented (which he actually isn't in the grand scheme of things) and he has like no allies. Not a very enticing read should I say so myself. 5) Slow progress: In order to get the best foundation, the MC hasn't used one of the ways for him to get powerful (the level system). This is incredibly frustrating. Like he has been level 0 for the whole novel (we are at 800 chapters btw). I would honestly call this bad design on the author's part. I'm positive he could've tweaked the already too complicated and confusing power system just a bit to allow him to level up. It's boring to see the MC at level 0 fighting people and monsters 30-50 levels above him. In conclusion, this novel is not very good. The power system is too complicated, the MC is constantly getting nerfed, and he has the most impossible odds I have ever seen stacked against him. Kinda weird considering everyone on Earth started at the same time. Anyways do not waste your time on this novel. 1/5
Just the fact that it's awes book makes me give 5 stars to it cause hands down his previous books haven't disappointed and I have high expectations and for sure know he gonna cook in this one as well, keep it up awe!!
This is Awespec’s latest work so as you can expect it’s pretty darn good. The World building is solid and the character design and explanations make you feel like there really people who have lived real lives. The story is interesting and the plots is something new to me. I’m very interested in where this will go.
I have read multiple of Awespecs books and they have awesome quality in writing. I would have to say that this one I think will outshine all the others in due time. Commented when there were only 14 chapters.
I've read a decent number of system novels, and one thing I never understand about many of them is the tendency to immediately disregard the rules they establish. I'm 200 chapters in, and I'm debating whether to continue because it feels like the MC doesn't truly earn anything. It just stopped making sense how he's constantly able to overpower every challenge thrown at him. The system only seems to exist to justify why he's "the chosen one." Why even create a system if, within the first 100 chapters, it no longer matters what level anyone is? The MC's "Madness" just solves all his problems without any real effort or personal growth. It's like a perfect deus ex machina that allows him to bypass challenges without taking the time to actually master his craft—it feels lazy. I'm willing to give it a shot if it gets better, but seeing comments that, even 500 chapters in, he's still Level 0 makes me skeptical. By that point, his stats are probably strong enough to beat most people without any real struggle, which undermines the power system entirely. Why should I care about any antagonist when I know the MC will just win immediately or rely on his "Madness" for some random 1000% boost to an obscure skill? Ultimately, there's little to no tension because it never feels like the MC's life is actually at risk.
[Chapter 827] It's just disappointing that MC turned out to be just like other brainless valueless characters. Maybe she did save him for selfish reasons. But it doesn't change the fact that she saved him. And now he is planning to kill her entire race just because MC's gf is jealous. Even though nothing happened between them. Just another web novel shit. #wasteOfTime

The book is truly amazing. The story is pretty interesting, mc is logical and not naive. So far so good. I recommend tp try this book, you won't regret it!
Loved it so far......hope that u continue to release do the good work
Overall a good read, Author seems established and capable, story is interesting and well thought out. MC is powerful but in a sustainable interesting way that still allows for struggle and plot to not be bulldozed by power creep. all in all a good book to read. also the Cover art is Hot AF
Nice story, reminded me of "The Oracle Paths" (one of my favorites, sadly author rarely updates). I just hope this won't be like that and just like DD and GAB we get to experience a lot of new and interesting things.
