Market and Treasures

"Wow Shura, that's actually incredible," Mom said.

It has been a while since I have broken through into the Body Tempering Realm Stage 1 and my mom is now currently examining me.

"Normally when people break through into body tempering with low success they will gain around 10 Kg of extra strength. Mid success will gain 20Kg, high success gain 30 Kg and Peak success gain 50Kg of extra strength. However, you actually gained 70 Kg of extra strength. Furthermore, your Spiritual Energy has been purified by a significant amount"

"Normally only extremely talented Chunin can purify their spiritual energy and that's only if they use an extremely high ranked cultivation art. If a Chunin can strengthen their spiritual energy enough, they can sense Chakra. However, you were born with the ability to sense Chakra and now your spiritual purity has actually increased. Now when your Sharingan gets activated, it will actually be stronger than a normal Sharingan and will be easier to evolve since the strength of your Sharingan, when it is unlocked, depends on your spiritual energy's purity"

"Well, for now since we have already trained how about you go take a walk outside. You've never really left this house alone before and since you've finally become a cultivator I can rest easy when you go outside, so go out and play for a while"

"Ok mom," I said, as I stood up and started walking out of the house.

———————————

After getting out of the house I started to walk through Konoha. The city itself looks exactly like Konoha from the anime. The only difference is that it is much bigger and awe-inspiring since it is the capital city of a nation instead of a hidden village. Konoha city is at least 10 times bigger than canon Konoha.

I walked down the street from my house and walked towards the market district. There are a lot of districts in Konoha, however, there are only 5 important ones. The clan district, the family district, the market district, the slums and the ordinary district. Whoever named these districts has no imagination whatsoever.

The clan district is the biggest district covering a total of 1/4 of Konoha since this is where all the clans reside. The family district is where all the families who are not yet big enough to be called a clan yet are still powerful enough to have all the clan privileges.

Market district and slums are obvious. The market district is in the middle of Konoha and is the smallest district yet also the busiest. The slums are where all the poor and the orphans live. The ordinary district is the third biggest district and is where everyone else (commoners) live. Here in Konoha, if you are in a clan you are considered a high class noble. Families are middle class/ low-class nobles.

When mom married my dad and wanted to start a family, out of respect to the Uzumaki clan, the Hokage named our family the Uzumaki family and gave us a manor in the family district as well as the title of middle-class nobles even though we are still only two people.

After I arrived in the market district I saw a crowded street. There were all kinds of shops in all kinds of locations. I immediately went into a shop and started observing the items.

Due to my mom being an alchemist as well as one of Konoha's few seal masters we never had problems with money. My dad also saved up an extremely large amount of money for us before he died.

I usually have an extremely large amount of pocket money to spend and since I have such a bullshit ability it wouldn't feel right if I did not abuse it.

This is actually my first time coming here alone since mom said I needed to be at least a body refiner before she let me come alone. Fortunately, mom already had me memorize the entire layout of Konoha when she realized I was a genius.

After looking for a while I actually ended up finding quite a lot of unique things. The most prominent being a couple of stones. When I discovered it, the vendor was only selling it for 10 Ryo, practically dirt cheap. However, when I observed it I got some surprising information:-

[Name:- Middle-Rank Blood Stone]

[Uses:- Can be used in Alchemy to increase the production rate of any pill by 10%, can stack up to 5 times]

I have frequently seen this stone with my mom since she is an alchemist however what is it doing here. Even a low-rank bloodstone costs upward to a thousand Ryo yet here I got a couple of them for 10 Ryo. This actually feels like cheating.

After walking for nearly half the day, I finally made my way into an old looking Bookstore. One look inside of it and even the blindest person could see that it probably belonged to a poor beggar. Every single book in there looked as though it was a century old and there were very few books that actually looked brand new. The store itself was also looking as though it will collapse any minute.

I looked towards the old man at the counter and asked him "Hey, old man. Where did you get these books anyway".

The old man looked towards me and said "I'm a book collector. During my younger years, I had a hobby of collecting books. These are all books that I have hoarded over the years. But now, I am old and am in need of money so I am attempting to sell these books."

"Well whatever old man, I'll take a look. Who knows, maybe I might find something good" I said.

I then started looking at(Observing) every single book. My eyes then stopped at one book and when I observed it this is what I got.

[Name:- Nameless]

[An old book which contains some alchemy recipes from an alchemy master. The recipes it contains are ...]

Needless to say, I was shocked. A journal of an Alchemy master, what the hell is it doing in a dump like this. I wasn't complaining though, this was a windfall. Although most of the recipes were scratched out this was not a problem for me as my observe showed me all the recipes that were in the book perfectly. When I get home, I have to tell mom about this

I then spent the rest of the day in that store, observing every single book carefully so that I didn't miss anything. The Result? By the end of the day, I had found 5 books, including the first one, that were written by Alchemy masters, a couple of books that were written from Seal masters and I even got a blacksmithing technique from a blacksmith master. I also got some books that were written from some apprentices but I put those back since I did not need them.

I placed all the books I found in a bag and went to the counter. "Hey Old man, Guess what" I said, "You actually have some pretty good books here. Here is the money for the books" I then handed him one thousand Ryo. I then told to his shocked face "Treat the extra as a tip from me for providing such amazing books. Bye Old man".

I then went out of the shop and quickly ran towards my house. 'Oh man,' I thought, 'Wait till mom sees this. I seriously gotta do this more often'.
