Dark Nimbus

Kalan decided to have his own senzu farm, in the future, the senzu beans would be rare commodities. He flew away on his cloud with Bulma to the Sacred Land of Korin.

"Let's spawn some Saibamen." Kalan thought and went behind a tree to spawn 3 Saibamen. He didn't need to worry about losing his lifespan anymore. But he didn't make them very strong either. Each of the Saibamen had a battle power around 700. He also had them clothed so they don't look so scary and disgusting. The clothes he materialized was heavy enough to lower their battle power down to 200. Since they Saibamen spawned by him were telepathically connected to him, he would be able to fully control them. He did not need to worry about them going out of control and disobeying him like normal Saibamen would if you were too weak. Since he intend to have them stay at Korin Tower, it would be bad if they suddenly killed Korin.

Kalan then walked back to Bulma. She wasn't that surprised upon seeing the Saibamen due to the clothes they wore. They wore a beanie, goggles, sweater, pants and gloves. The Saibamen could fly, so he just ordered them to follow him up to Korin Tower.

"What a cute cat." Bulma walked up to Korin and scratched its chin.

"Nya, stop stop." Korin complained.

"Korin, I brought you some helpers. Teach them how to plant and harvest senzu, will you?" Kalan said and introduced the three 'helpers'.

The Saibamen couldn't speak and only made "Sha Sha Sha" sounds.

"Alright, you three. Listen well and learn how to take care of senzu plants from Korin." Kalan ordered.

"Sha Sha Sha" The three nodded.

"Hoo~ They are really strong, how did you find these fellows?" Korin wondered, he could sense Ki after all. Three beings with a battle power of 200 was hard to find on Earth.

Kalan refilled his almost empty pot of senzu. He also asked for a Dark Nimbus for Bulma. Considering Kalan's status as 'Kami's successor', Korin relented and gifted Bulma a Dark Nimbus. Normally only those who managed to climb the Korin Tower were gifted a Flying Nimbus, the Dark Nimbus were normally not given out. But Korin thought Kalan would be the next Kami as the current Kami was old and filled with wrinkles, his lifeforce waning. Thus he treated Kalan much better, not to mention he just got three strong helpers.

"Wow! I can also fly now!" Bulma flew around on her dark cloud excitedly.

"Be careful though. Korin can make you fall through the cloud." Kalan teased.

"What?!" Bulma quickly flew back into the tower in worry.

"Nya~ It's true. But if you fell from this height, your body will most certainly not be whole. Don't worry, I'm not such a bad person." Korin said.

"Kalan!" Bulma yelled in disatisfaction, now she was scared to stay on her cloud.

"I was only teasing you, relax. Korin isn't called a sage for nothing. He wouldn't play such tricks on you." Kalan had to comfort her and after an arduous discussion, he finally managed to convince Bulma that the cloud was safe. He regretted teasing her.

Kalan followed Bulma as she happily flew around. It was evening and the two decided to rest for the day. Bulma threw a house capsule, with a "Poof", a nice looking house appeared. She also threw out 2 maid droids to take care of the house and dinner.

Kalan took Bulma outside the house and continued teaching her martial arts. He was quite helpless of the fact that Bulma wasn't interested in martial arts, and would rarely take the initiative to train on her own. Bulma was instead interested in adventures and inventing new apparatuses. If not for being a handsome and strong boyfriend, Kalan would probably not even be able to convince her to learn martial arts.

The couple trained intimately for 2 hours before having dinner. Seeing the mountain of plates stacked, Bulma felt lucky she had the maid droids and did not need to actually cook Kalan's meals.

Bulma happily flew around on her dark cloud, each day they would fly a distance, practice martial arts for a few hours and find a place to sleep the night. A month passed when Kalan found a mountain village and decided to check on it. It didn't matter if they were doing well or not, Kalan was still going to show off and have people worship him like a deity.

The two flew above the village on their clouds.

"Are they deities? They are flying on clouds!"

"Finally! The deities have answered our prayers!"

Multitudes of villagers exclaimed and went down on their knees and prayed. It seemed that the village was in some kind of trouble and had been praying for deities to help them. Now they thought Kalan and Bulma were the deities that had heard their prayers.

"Mommy, are they deities?" A little girl pulled her mother's clothes.

"Yes, little Shao Mai, our village will be saved now!" The mother hugged her daughter happily.

Kalan and Bulma landed on the ground. Bulma seemed to feel a bit uncomfortable being prayed to like a deity.

"Stand up, tell me. What matter has caused you people to play so devoutly?" Kalan used his telekinesis to pull up all the villagers praying on their knees. Naturally he would use all means to show off as a 'deity' since his plan for touring the world was naturally to gain more worshipers.

"Great Deity, please defeat the evil monster in the mountain." Shao Mai stepped forward and begged.

"Shao Mai! Don't be rude. Great Deity, please forgive my daughter's manners." The mother hurriedly pulled back her daughter and had both of them bow. The adults had some reservations towards the 'Great Deity' and intended to first pray and give some offerings before imploring the 'Great Deity' to save them from the monster.

"It's fine, tell me more about this monster." Kalan waved his hand, indicating he was fine. He took a step forward and rubbed Shao Mai's head. Her name sounded like chinese dimsum, somehow hearing her name made him have a favorable impression of her. He did not know if it was related to his Saiyan bloodline.

Originally, Bulma had intended to explain the misunderstanding, but Kalan stopped her. So Bulma stood at the side and spectated Kalan's actions.

"There is an evil giant toad monster living in the mountain, he is extremely evil. Each month we have to pay a tribute of food and young women. If a village isn't able to play the tribute, he will take the able men to work in the mines." Shao Mai explained. There were several villages on this huge mountain, even a few at the base and the surrounding of the mountain. The evil toad sure was living the life of a warlord.

Kalan looked around and saw the village mostly of boys, little girls, middle-aged mothers and elders.

It seems that most able men had been forced to work in the mines, while the young women were taken as tributes.

"Alright, don't worry. I'll get rid of this toad monster for you." Kalan smiled and continued rubbing Shao Mai's head.

"Thank you!"

"Thank you Great Deity!"

The villagers hurriedly went down on their knees and kowtowed.
