Kalan Supervising

"Bulma said that...!?" Kalan stared dumbly at Goku and Raditz. At last, he found out that Bulma had said his name during their earlier conversation, which led Raditz to his dojo.

"Eh? Is something wrong?" Goku asked.

"Ah, no. It's nothing." Kalan smiled awkwardly. He wouldn't dumbly say he had actually been waiting for them to fight.

"I guess everything was for naught..." Kalan shook his head in disappointment. He had been expecting things to go like in the story.

Both Nappa and Vegeta's battle power had risen significantly higher than they had in the story, but that little bit of strength didn't matter to Kalan.

"We'll probably be fighting Nappa and Vegeta, since we have differing opinions." Kalan explained he and Goku won't be listening to Vegeta as he couldn't care any less about him being the Saiyan prince.

"W-What!? T-That's insane! Vegeta won't forgive any traitors. He'll definitively kill you two!!" Raditz stuttered in fear.

"It's not us two, it's all of us." Kalan hinted that Raditz was included in their group.

"Y-You're really forcing me into this! Vegeta has a battle power over 20,000! It's suicide!" Raditz' eyes bulged out, yelling anxiously, his spit splattering everywhere.

"Since, things have come to this. I'll train you guys for awhile." Kalan said to Goku, Piccolo, Gohan and Raditz.

"Really!? That's great!" Goku smiled happily.

"Finally! It's been a long time since you last taught." Piccolo smiled, making Kalan wonder if he really missed getting beaten up so much.

"Teacher! Will I still be meditating?" Gohan wondered.

"A bit, but I'll focus on your basic foundation." Kalan smiled and ruffled Gohan's hair.

"What are you guys thinking? We'll get killed!! We should just obediently obey Prince Vegeta!" Raditz said in distress.

"No way! I won't indiscriminately kill innocent people!" Goku immediately rejected.

"Kalan... Don't tell me you think the same...?" Raditz asked helplessly.

"Me? I just don't want to be ordered around." Kalan said nonchalantly.

Raditz stared dumbly at Kalan, not expecting such an answer from him.

"They will probably arrive in a year..." Raditz could only cooperate with them, now that he had no choice in this matter. Run? Would he dare to run from Kalan? To double cross them later on when Vegeta arrives? Would the prideful Vegeta want such a disgraceful Saiyan? Both his little brother and Kalan was already going to go against them.

"No worries, one year is plenty of time." Kalan replied nonchalantly. The group nodded in agreement, they had full confidence in Kalan's abilities.

Kalan had rudely took Raditz' spacepod's remote control and brought it to his dojo. He then had Yamcha bring it to Dr. Brief to make a spaceship. Kalan also told Yamcha he would supervise his training for awhile once he got back, telling him to meet the group later on in the nearby wasteland. Yamcha was pumped and flew at his highest speed toward West City. He would materialize a few spaceships, but he didn't want to always do that for everyone all the time.

Kalan gathered Tien Shinhan and Chiaotzu and brought the group to the wasteland. He planned to train the group a bit, he needed some space for such a big group so the wasteland was a perfect place.

The system helped Kalan materialize 4 gravity chamber rooms imitating his own training room, of course the materials were of lower quality and the highest gravity was just 100x.

"W-What!? Where did everything come from?!!" Raditz eyes popped out. Everyone except Raditz was used to Kalan's ability.

Kalan explained that two strong opponents will arrive in roughly 1 year, so he would be training everyone.

"Then we should bring Krillin as well?" Chiaotzu asked.

"Sure, you go bring him and also teach him the basics first." Kalan said.

"Uh... Alright..." Chiaotzu suddenly felt regretful, why did he need to speak up? He was also eager to be taught by Kalan.

"Raditz, you'll need to learn the basics first before I train you. Tien Shinhan, go teach him first. I'll supervise you guys later." Kalan said.

"You wan't me to learn from these weaklings? What could they possibly teach me?" Raditz felt humiliated. His scouter was broken, but he had seen the top ranked martial artists in the energy scanner machine earlier, Tien Shinhan had a battle power of 500, Chiaotzu 300. They were too weak, he did not believe these people could teach him anything.

"Shut up and go learn, or do you want me to break your legs, so you'll obediently sit down?" Kalan said overbearingly, he was too lazy to convince Raditz and just threatened him.

Raditz hurriedly closed his mouth and obediently followed Tien Shinhan and Chiaotzu to a distance away.

"Alright, Goku and Piccolo I'll spar with you two together, Gohan I'll have my clone train you." Kalan said.

"What's these metal rooms for?" Goku asked curiously while looking at the 4 gravity chamber rooms which looked like metal boxes.

"We'll do gravity training later, it's much more efficient than weighted clothes." Kalan said and created a clone.

There were lots of space in the endless wasteland, Goku and Piccolo took of their weighted clothes and fought Kalan, at first, they did not cooperate, but Kalan did not show mercy and beat them up till both of them lied lifelessly on the ground. An hour later, the finally managed to get up again, Kalan generously healed them up, this time they reluctantly cooperated, but still got trashed by Kalan, but not as bad since there's no meaning to beat them senseless. He was helping them improve in battles, not ground meat.

"T-Teacher!" Gohan's eyes widened in shock, seeing the bitter fight.

"Don't worry, they won't die, don't you see their smiles? They're enjoying the spar." Kalan's clone stood next to Gohan and explained.

Saiyans were good at learning, especially with their bodies, the clone was gentler to Gohan in their spars, but Gohan was still beaten down to the ground with several swollen bumps covering his face.

Kalan didn't want to traumatize Gohan, so he went easy on him. When he felt exhausted, the clone would let Gohan rest.

Chiaotzu and Yamcha came back, Chiaotzu came back with a happy Krillin. Though, once he heard the news, he turned depressed.

"Can't we just wish for Shenron to kill the evil Saiyans?" Krillin asked.

"Krillin, don't be such a party pooper. It'll be fun!" Goku complained. He looked forward to fighting strong opponents.

"Hmph, weakling." Piccolo looked down on Krillin's method.

Raditz asked around a bit about Shenron and found out about the dragon balls, his eyes popping out once he knew how powerful they were. He murmured "So that's why Kalan wants to stay here..."

Chiaotzu helplessly taught Krillin the martial arts from Kalan's dojo which were based on Kami's martial arts. Krillin had only learned the Turtle School's martial arts, thus he was the weakest of the group. Kalan planned to teach some of King Kai's martial arts to the group and have them do some gravity training. But he didn't want to repeat, so he would teach everyone together.
