"It was crazy, if I were there a little longer, I probably would've been driven to insanity." Jamie sat next to me, "Brit said I'm the only one she knows who can comprehend it, but I'm not so sure about that. It was, pretty average in design." She rubbed her head, "I dunno. Ever since I saw it it's been hard to sleep. I'm starting to wonder if I was really affected by it." I shrugged, "This is just me, but I would probably talk to Brit about that. She's gotta know something about that." She sighed, "I dunno. I'll just wait it out for now."
"Has anyone seen Mr. Walker?" Chasan looked at me, "No one?" The room was silent. "Well, I guess we'll have to continue without him." He pulled out a stack of papers. "Ms. Malacent, would you pass these out for me?" Brit nodded, and stood up.
Brit walked by Jamie and me, "This might interest you." I looked at the paper, "Trost Academy Spring Dance? What about that would interest me?"
"Not that, look at when it is." I looked around, no specific theme, "It's in, 5 months? What's interesting about that? I mean, yeah, it's far, but-"
"I wasn't saying it would be interesting to you. I was mainly talking to Jamie, for you, I thought the fact that your family is funding it would be of interest."
"Wait, they are?!" I looked around on it, and sure enough, at the bottom, the paper said 'Funded by the Topaz Mining Company'. "Eh, probably Hellsing wanting to repay the school. Yeah, she didn't really do a lot, but she managed to at least help take out someone related to Dracula. That's really all she wanted to do here." The bell rang, and I put the paper in my pocket.
"So," Pisces appeared behind me, "You and Bill going together?" I felt my face get hot, "Maybe. Maybe not. Why does it matter to you anyway?" She nudged my shoulder, "I think we both know why."
"Jesus! No!" I raised my hand, but lowered it before I did anything. "Come on, we've got class."
"Have any of you guys seen Bill?" Jamie sat next to me, "I haven't seen him since this morning." Akumura shrugged, "I didn't even see him then."
"Who knows," Pisces sighed, "Maybe he'll show up now that we're in combat class. Isn't that, the one thing Demons live for."
"Yes and no." Brit cleared her throat like a teacher preparing for a lecture, "They were-"
"Not the time for expositing Brit." A voice started from behind me, "If you really need to know, I was in town for something." I turned around, "And why exactly were you there for the whole day?"
"Yeah, I had to do some stuff." Bill scratched the back of his head, "I kinda decided to make sure the Hoops were done."
"YOU WHAT?!" Akumura's eyes started glowing, "You've got to be kidding me, right? And you got out alive?" His hair turned white, "Everyone in there is a direct descendant of the Dracula lineage. The vampires my dad creates are some of the strongest in the world, even with him dead, and you just took them out without an issue?"
"Well," Bill lifted his sleeve, "There was this group that tried turning me. Turns out, Demons can't become vampires." I glared at Bill, "You know that we aren't supposed to do anything like that? You think no one is gonna notice that the Black Hoops suddenly disappeared. I get that you live for battle, but this vigilante shit isn't how you do it!" I sighed, "Guess it doesn't matter now. I'm glad you're okay."
