Chapter 6: A beginning!

One day, inside Bnan and his family's house.

There seems to be a celebration!

"Today marks the end of our training, woohoo!" shouted Portu excitedly.

"En, it was very very hard. I don't want to undergo that kind of training ever again." lamented Kanha.

"What are you saying Kanha-chan? And I'm here hoping that you guys will miss the training though," said Bnan with a sad-looking face.

"Stop teasing you sisters Bnan." reprimanded the tigress.

Suddenly Bnan said something shocking to his family.

"Guys tomorrow I think I want to venture to the outside world and become the explore what lays beyond this jungle!" claimed Bnan.

"You wanna leave us, oni-chan?" said Kanha with tearful eyes.

Portu and mom do not say anything and keep their silence.

They already once talk about this when Bnan and Kanha went out for food.

Both of them felt like something like this will happen sooner or later.

He did the unthinkable, to train his siblings? What kind of tiger do that?

So they conclude that he is more loving than a normal tiger should be and wants his family to live safely.

Then, he can venture and fulfill his wish without any worries.

"Hahaha, don't make me a bad guy here Kanha-chan" purred Bnan while stroking his cute little sister with his big paw.

Then, he just acts normally and eats the prey that they caught together earlier.

Yes. Bnan, Portu, and Kanha already can on their own.

But Bnan always hunts alone while Portu and Kanha will hunt together.

Their mom is too old to hunt, so most of the time they will do the hunt.

Throughout these months, they also make friends with some eagle family.

This started when, one day, Kanha saw an injured eagle and decided to bring her back to their home.

Her condition was quite bad and she needs to be treated as fast as possible.

Kanha did not know how to treat her and wanted to ask her brother or her mom.

Fortunately, Bnan had an idea on how to treat this not so little eagle.

He rubbed some herb that has healing properties that he found during one of his hunts onto the eagle's injury.

Then, he wrapped the injury with some leaves hoping the herbs will be absorbed and do their wonders.

Eventually, after a whole hour, the eagle woke up.

What she did after she woke up? She immediately screamed!

She is an eagle, after all, an eagle cry is quite loud you know.

Okay, honestly who does not scream when he/she is surrounded by four big and fearsome tigers?

Fortunately, Kanha succeeded calming the eagle and started to explain how she met her in the woods.

The eagle, Sahee expressed her sincerest gratitude for saving her.

Then, she explained how she fell when she was flying.

She was too absorbed searching for fishes in the river and did not aware of the tree in front of her.

So she flew straight towards the tree, hit it with her head and fainted straight after the collision occurs.

"...." Bnan was speechless.

"..." Portu was speechless.

"..." mom was speechless.

Then, all three of them thought the same thing, "This girl...is an absolute airhead!"

"Haih, nevermind then. Sahee, you can just heal here first until your injuries subsided." mom said lovingly.

Sahee reminded her to Kanha a little bit when she was still a cub.

"Yea, mom is right Sahee. Plus, we can catch fishes for you, so you can just focus on healing yourself, okay?" said Portu.

After a few days, Sahee was completely healed and went home after she thanked Bnan and his family.

She came right back after a few days with another two eagles which are her parents.

They want to thank us for saving their daughter.

To their shock, Sahee is their princess as her parents are the king and queen of the eagles.

They want to portray their gratitude towards Bnan and his family.

So he decided to allow them to use their kin to send messages or act as a courier forever free of charge.

So generous!

Then, as a reply to their goodwill.

Bnan asked them to eat together with them but quickly refused by the king as they cannot stay here for too long.

"When we are free, we will come to have a feast. We hope that you guys still welcome us at that time," said Sahee's father.

"Of course!" said Bnan smiling.

After a few more pleasantries, they bid farewell to Sahee and her family.

The next day, Bnan bid his farewell to his family.

Kanha begs to go with him.

Because among his family, she is the most attached to him.

Their relationship becomes closer throughout these years and the past training made Kanha very rely on his brother.

When she just awaken her innate strength, Bnan is the one that taught her how to control them.

Bnan became both her coach and moral support.

"It's not I don't want to bring you along, my dear sister. It's too dangerous for you," said Bnan.

"I don't care! I wanna tag along and accompany you Oni-chan!" Kanha still stubborn and don't want to separate from his brother.

"Haih, mom...Onee-chan says something," Bnan asks with 'you know it is very dangerous face'.

But Portu's reply is not what Bnan expected at all!

"Just go with your brother Kanha. You need to prevent him from swindling the females out there," said Portu.

Albeit Kanha is still shocked, she nods her head and says, "En, absolutely Onee-chan!".

The old tigress then also joins the conversation, "Just go my child. Don't worry about your sister and I. We can take care of ourselves."

"Haih, are you sure, Kanha-chan?" sighed Bnan.

"Absolutely!" said Kanha.

"Alright then. BUT! You must follow my instructions and don't get yourself into trouble!" said Bnan seriously.

"Hehe, yes Oni-chan!" said Kanha with an innocent smile.

"Haih, then let's go. We can eat first and set to our adventure right after we have our meal," said Bnan.

"Hihi," smiled Kanha while following her brother.

"Say Oni-chan, why you want to leave our lovely home?" asked Kanha.

"Huhu, why you ask Kanha-chan?" replied Bnan with a question.

"Emm I just wanna know why?" said Kanha again.

"Huhu, emm it's nothing personal. I suppose I just wanna explore and knows what is outside the jungle," answered Bnan to his little sister's question.

"Oooh, I see," Kanha said while walking behind her brother.

"And I wanna know where are we, I want to see Caroline again. Haih, but how can I explain to her later? Haih, it is impossible after all, aye?" Bnan quietly muttered.

Indeed! Bnan still does not forget his past life. He deduces he is somewhere around Asia but not in China though.

He did not spot any panda or bamboo when he went out hunting.

But suddenly, Kanha whips him in the shoulder using her tail and pulls Bnan from his thought!

"Oni-chan! What is that? This is the first time I see that kind of creature! What a weird-looking person." said Kanha with a puzzled expression.

"Where is the creature, Kanha-chan?" asked Bnan with an annoyed tone as it stings when she hit him with her tail.

"There, just beside the river." sid Kanha.

Bnan turns towards the river and sees a green goblin.

"Ooh, it just a goblin Kanha. Nothing to be afraid of...WHAAAAT!? A GOBLIN!?" shouted Bnan.
