Chapter 7: Level up!

Bnan cannot comprehend what he saw, "WHAT?! HOW CAN A GOBLIN APPEAR ON EARTH? Or..."

Bnan was awestruck, it was a goblin!

A real one and it looked the same as the one he saw on video games and mangas!

"This can't be real...unless...unless this isn't the same Earth that I know," said Bnan.

His feelings were everywhere, he was confused as to how can he even reincarnate in a different world.

He was sad by a realization he can't meet his Caroline again.

He was clueless not knowing anything anymore.

Then Kanha felt there was something wrong with her brother, "Oni-chan? Why you look bewildered? What is a goblin?"

Bnan woke up from his sudden stupor, "Ooh, it's nothing. Emm, a goblin is a monster. I don't know much about them but I'm sure we should be stronger than him."

Bnan knew goblin was one of the 'mob' in the early stages of many RPG games.

They should be stronger than the goblin at the least, right?

"You stay here, I'll try to kill him as fast as possible," said Bnan.

Then, Bnan started to sneak up on the goblin.

He slowly moved closer to the green goblin hoping to make this a one-hit kill.

Just when Bnan was in five meters range, the goblin turned his head and directly pounced on Bnan.

Bnan was shocked!

He was never got caught by his prey during his past hunts.

The goblin was holding a dagger.

He then came to stab Bnan with the knife albeit a bit crudely.

Bnan let the goblin stabbed him right into his shoulder.

But then he immediately used his paw slashing the goblin, "Take this!" shouted Bnan.

Then, Bnan ripped the goblin's entire arm from his body.

The goblin was afraid, he knew that Bnan was stronger than him.

So he quickly fled and bailed out from the fight.

But Bnan was determined, he leaped and swung his paw towards the goblin's neck.

Decapitation!

Then Bnan came closer to the dead goblin, he wanted to check if it is dead.

Suddenly, there were myriads of light bulbs surged towards Bnan!

The light bulbs were then absorbed into his body.

Bnan was stunned!

Then, he realized something, "Status!" shouted Bnan excitedly.

There was a blue panel in front of him!

His bet worked, he can summon his status.

He looked at the panel.

INT: 1

WIS: 2

SP: 0

"This is my stat...? WHAT A LOUSY STATUS! Does this thing really working?" Bnan said furiously.

"And what the heck with my race, why there is a question mark?"

Then Bnan started to panic.

"If this is relative to the outside world...that means I'm the weakest of the weakest?!"

"Oni-chan! Are you okay? The goblin managed to hurt you, right?" asked Kanha worriedly.

"I'm okay, Kanha-chan. It just stings a little. Come here and help me up." Bnan replied.

Then, Bnan swung his arm and hit his little sister's neck.

"I'm sorry Kanha-chan but this is for the best," Bnan whispered.

"W-why, why Oni-chan..." Kanha fainted.

Bnan felt he did not have the strength to protect his sister, yet.

He would become stronger first and then brought his sister to venture outside.

It is too dangerous!

He cannot bear to watch Kanha died due to him being weak!

Anything can happen, no?

After that, Bnan brought Kanha back to their home and explained to Portu and his mom.

He realized he is too weak!

He promised to bring all of them to venture outside when he can confidently say "I'll protect you guys, no biggie."

Portu and mom understood the situations, they will explain to Kanha why Bnan did that.

Then, Bnan left without knowing what will be waiting for him in the future.

After a couple of hours traveling through the jungle.

Bnan arrived at the top of a mountain.

He wanted to sort out his thoughts and feelings.

This was his favorite spot, he can oversee the vast jungle by sitting here, it had a calming feeling.

"Haih, this whole situation is getting stranger and stranger."

Bnan shook his head, "I need to get a hold of myself, let's plan what will be our main plan."

"Firstly, I need to understand what kind of world is this."

"Secondly, I need to become stronger and this panel can help me greatly."

"Thirdly, I need to find how to gain more strength in this world. Is it by cultivation? Magic? I need to figure it out"

Bnan finally decided what to do but he needed to leave the jungle, it was, foremost, the most important step.

He tried searching for an exit from this jungle but cannot see any, this jungle was endless!

"Emm, I'll just go straight in one direction and we'll see what happens. Yea, that should do it."

"Let's go!" Bnan roared out loud.

Bnan started to descend from the mountain and ran towards the eagle's territories.

He wanted to meet Sahee for the last time, and then ask them for a little bit of guidance.

They can fly, so they must have a lot of information than him.

He wanted to hold that information and started his adventure from there.

On his way to their territory, Bnan found another goblin.

But this time they are in a group of four.

The two goblins were holding a dagger and the other two were holding a slingshot.

Bnan thought for a second and decided to attack them.

But first, he needed a plan, based on their equipment, Bnan figured the ones who were holding a slingshot must have low HP.

So he planned to make an ambush and killed both of them first, then the other two.

Bnan stalked them and waited for the right moment.

He lurked around the bushes to make it hard for them to spot him.

He would not repeat the same mistake and let his prey knew he was approaching.

He sat there for five minutes, the right moment had come!

The two targeted goblins walked just in front of him, he directly pounced on them and ripped their heads!

The other two goblins were shocked!

After they saw their partners' heads rolled in front of their eyes, they just ran away and did not look back.

"Uaargh! Run bro, run!" one of the goblins screamed.

Bnan was puzzled but still plunged his claws right into the goblins' head.

Their eyes were rolling, and they just died like that.
