chapter 14: the truth

Why did the other kings start the war when we had a 500-year peace treaty there must be something behind this it just to fishy? Unless the demon king didn't die that day and just laid low and let his daughter rule, but why? Everyone knew his daughter never had any back bone so that made the other kingdoms begin to attack her, but they never made it past the border before they died. Could it be that the demon king knew that this will happen, so he faked his death and is pulling the strings in the shadow? That must be it he knew the treaty was just for show and they just waited for his kingdom to grow weak to attack, now it makes sense he used us to show his daughter that there will always will be conflict between all races.

"SIR! The demons are moving against the beast tribe!" a man ran and kneeled down before he told the king what was happening outside.

"you may leave now!" why the hell will I care about the beast tribe when I have to protect my own kingdom.

"but sir are you not going to help?" 'what's with the king is he not going to help?' Thought the messenger.

"I SAID LEAVE!" this bastard think he can talk back to me!

"yes sir!" the messenger began to run away with a pale face.

I turn around and looked towards a dark corner in the room, "kill him!"

"yes, my lord." A voice came out before a swooshing sound came out

'What's with this feeling I'm getting?' (gets up and walks over to a table with a 3D map of the place where the war was held. Within the landmarks of the map there were signs which indicated the circumstances of each place during the war) This war has been going on for ten years', but the demons never made an invasion before, so why now this makes no sense. Why attack the beast tribes, but not the human kingdoms that attacked them. Unless she wants to make a treaty with those who didn't attack when they were in their weakest. I have to get the guidance of an oracle as soon as possible, so I can make sure I'm taking the right path, which also leads my kingdom to safety. But why do I feel like we are being played like puppets and walking straight into the enemy?

"Damn I don't like this feeling arrrhhh!" *boom* he suddenly punched the wall which caused a huge cloud of dust to appear. When the dust finally settled down you could see a huge hole in the wall. But suddenly the door bursts open, 'who the hell decides to come in without knocking' he thought with a slight rise in his anger.

"FATHER! We found the oracle he's is being transported right now to the kingdoms underground prison." Says a young man in his twenties

"good! Go get some rest until I need you for something." Hahaha yes, we found him.

"yes father." 'Huh why does he look so happy' thought the young man

'Hahaha… finally we caught him it's time to see what my kingdoms future holds if this war doesn't end.'

(15 minutes later)

When I finally reached the underground prison, I saw two guards bowing down way before I get there.

"sir I will take you to the oracle please follow me." One of the guard says before he stands up and opens the door

"NO! no one will follow me I'll be going on my own."

"yes sir. Just follow this line and he will be the last prisoner on the left." Replied the guard.

After walking for a bit I'm finally in front of the oracle he looked like an old man with nothing but skin and bones. If you look at him closely he will look like he will die at any moment as he released an aura of death around him.

I looked at him before saying "I think you know why I'm here."

"Yes, I do, but is that what you really want to know my king… hehehe?" he laughed as his teeth start to fall off.

I look at him with a strong killing intent as I stare daggers at him.

"mwahaha… fine then your kingdom will fall no it will disappear from the pages of history… hahaha."

"you lie there is no one strong enough to do that in this war!"

"You and this kingdom will not live long enough to see the end of this war my king… hahaha."

'What does he mean will the kingdom be destroyed by someone from inside? Is it one of my sons or my wife who is going to destroy everything that I work so hard to get!'

"what will happen to me and this kingdom who has that much power and hatred against us" I looked at him with hope maybe I can befriend him before anything ends up happening.

"he is not born yet my king… hee-hee… yes it's what you're thinking it is your unborn son… hahaha how does it feel to know he will kill you and everything you love?"

"what that can't be why will he do it?"

I have to kill him I can't let something that dangerous to live, but I can't kill him, or my wife will try to kill me. What can I do! Wait I have those pills which will make his body really weak then when he is born I will just cripple his body, so he can never grow strong. So, when it's time to check his bloodline nothing will happen, and I will have a reason to kill him later… hahaha I'm a genius. Now I have to start the preparations to avoid such a disaster. (walks away)

*oracle point of view*

Hahaha… what a fool his son will be so weak even if he didn't do anything but now that he decided to move against him he will bring that demon to get revenge for your son hahaha! I guess there is no reason for me to live now that I set everything in place now it's time to leave this place hahaha. Did he really think I will help him when he killed my family? "hahahahaha!" everyone started to shake in fear as they heard his last laugh before he died.

How do I make my wife drink these pills, I guess I'll put it in her medicine she is taking for the baby's health, no I can just lie that the pills will help the baby hahaha. (walks to the kitchen and gets the water to feed his wife the pills)

"Sweetie drink this it's for the baby it will make him stronger I paid a lot of money for this!" I looked at her with the best smile I can muster as I pass her the water and the pills.

"really that's great I can feel he will be some one really amazing hehehe!"

I see her drink the pills without any hesitation which made me almost laugh my ass off at how dense she can be hahaha. Now I just have to wait until he is born to finally stop this monster from destroying everything I have.
