Tricks of the trade

"Now let's see, what should I do with you vile creature." I spoke with an evil grin on my face as I neared the trembling necromancer.

"Do.. Don't come near me, if you step any further I will blow this whole place up." Necromancer spoke as his whole figure shivered.

"Oh, blow this place up? That doesn't sound that bad, but how do you plan to do that?"

"I will detonate my soul and you will die here with me!" Looks like he found some courage in his words as he kept threatening me.

"Oh so you are willing to perish forever just to kill me, but you do know I will just resurrect without any consequence right?"

"You, you aren't sent here by town major?" Oh hoh, the fish took the bait.

"Town major? You must be jesting, I'm here on my own personal agenda, you see I've heard of an evil necromancer in nearby village that seems to be quite rich, and you can probably guess how this story continues…" I spoke as my words made low echo in this dark cave.

"Yes, yes, I'm extremely rich, I will give you all my riches if you let me live." This fish didn't just take the bait, it swallowed it whole.

"You have my interest piqued necromancer, continue."

"I will give you all my gold and all my spirit stones, but you have to leave and never come back."

"Add to that copy of your research and you have yourself a deal."

"Fine, deal, how do you want to do this then?"

"I have here beast skin parchment, how about this I will write a contract, you can rest assured my second class is merchant so contract made by me is completely valid." I spoke as I took out another piece of paper and started scribbling on in with my mana.

"Term 1: Necromancer is obligated to surrender all of his gold to player Zero."

"Deal."

"Term 2: Necromancer is obligated to surrender all of his spirit stones to player Zero."

"Deal."

"Term 3: Necromancer is obligated to surrender a copy of his whole research to player Zero."

"Deal."

"Term 4: Player Zero is obligated to leave this cave and never to return."

"Deal."

"This contract is valid as long as both parties are alive, if any party breaks the contract he will be burned by the flames of the purgatory never to see daylight, do you agree necromancer?"

"I agree, but you are forbidden from revealing my location to anyone."

"Good, now drop your blood at the bottom of this parchment and you can give me everything and then I will leave."

I neared the necromancer and he bit his finger and dropped his blood on the parchment, a moment later he took out two bags and a book from god knows where and handed it to me.

"You can keep one gold, I presume you will leave this cave now that you have been found out and you might need some gold for traveling expense." I added as I started to distance myself from necromancer, he happily accepted the gold coin but soon he noticed something is wrong, he raised his head and looked at me.

"You, what did you do, you tricked me damn you!" He started screaming as white flame started appearing beneath him, devouring him whole.

"Auto-loot." I gave mental command as I saw notification, you are probably wondering how I killed him, well it's quite simple, he broke the contract and was destroyed by it, contract is made by me so the kill also goes to me, in contract it was written that he will surrender all his gold but he kept one gold piece which I gave to him. Quite a smart move don't you thing? What you tell me it is evil? Of course it might be seen that way, but it was the way that required least effort to kill him.

I'm so damn rich right now, easy money easy life.

"You see girls, beating bosses doesn't always require you to be strong, sometimes you have to be smart, even though these bosses have quite advanced A.I. they could never compare with living humans and our shrewd minds." I explained to girls as I neared them, my puppy was right beside me but it was ignored as the girls stood there with their mouth open wide as they stared at me.

"This, you can even do this? But isn't this cheating?" Asked Sasha still stupefied with what happened.

"Cheating? Oh my, well it's not like you are wrong, but I only cheated that necromancer, and you saw yourself, he agreed to being cheated." Yes he did agree, but he would've never agreed if my Guile stat wasn't so damn high. Guile stat has many uses, tricking people is just one of those uses, and it can do much more than just make your words believable.

"Big brother, won't you give something to your sister now that you are so rich?" Asked Mia as she snapped out of her reverie, this little money grubber… But I planned to give her some gold anyway so it's fine.

"Of course, right after I send you to respawn point." I said as I neared them slowly, my words stunned them again as they remembered what I said before I fought with the boss.

"You can't be serious; you really want to harm your little sister?" She asked me completely shocked.

"Harm? No, of course not, but sweetie this is just a game so no harm will befall on you if you die here and now. But of course, you could also convince me not to kill you; hmm I wonder what you could possibly offer me to change my mind." I mumbled last part of the sentence to myself but they obviously took my sign and started whispering to each other, I almost bursted out in laughter once I heard some of the suggestions.
