Angry Su Jo

Shenmi Ren took Su Mo to the Yobai Clan and dropped him off. He explained the identity of the young man and what he wanted out of giving him to them.

They quickly understood there was an internal struggle going on in the Clan. The Yobai clan were extremely happy to benefit from the ordeal.

Whether the father came to redeem the kid or not the Yobai clan would benefit.

Kong Fang began his farming training in the forest. While he was happily killing low-level creatures and earning XP for his two characters; a gloomy air filled the Su Clan.

The Yobai Clan waited an entire week before they finally delivered their letter of demand to Su Jo. No one else was aware of the letter.

Everyone knew Su Mo was missing because Su Jo had gone mad looking for him.

He couldn't understand how his son could disappear. When he left a week ago, his son was training in their private training yard. It was three days before he realized his son was missing.

The most aggravating part of the whole thing was no one saw his son leave the clan! In his mind, it meant he must be somewhere in the clan.

He spent the next four days forcefully searching everyone's home and then he searched again. Soon, he turned to forcefully questioning everyone in the Clan.

As a person adept at scheming, Su Jo was aware of the fact he was schemed against. Every paranoid fear he had in his life, no matter how minor, came to the forefront of his mind.

His appearance drastically changed from the sophisticated and collected elder to a wide-eyed madman!

He finally concluded it must be the Clan Leader who was involved as there was no other answer.

Only the Clan Leader would be able to effect this sudden disappearance.

Just as he was about to force his way into question the Clan Leader, consequences are damned, he received the letter from the Yobai Clan.

The Yobai clan was much more interested in acquiring a powerful turncoat like Elder Su than harming his son.

In the letter, they mentioned their appreciation for the Clan Leader who sent them such a happy gift. The letter was designed to kill any loyal feelings he had towards the clan. It was really well done.

However, if that were all he certainly wouldn't betray the clan. He knew if he turned turncoat and went to the Yobai Clan, he would never have any real power. He would simply become their dog.

If he could he would reject the letter and work with the members of the clan to come up with a scheme to rescue his son.

However, over the last seven days, he offended too many people. All the support he previously had from most of the Clan Elders disappeared.

They saw the insanity in Elder Su's eyes and they knew if he didn't find his son soon; he would resort to killing and torturing even the elders!

Realizing his position, Elder Su Jo decided to betray the Su Clan and save his son. Thankfully the Clan Leader was oblivious to everything going on and he was free to move within the clan.

If he were going to betray the clan, he was going to make sure the entire clan was left with nothing to ever be a threat to him and his son. He would also take away as much wealth as he could so he and his son could eventually escape the Yobai Clan and make new lives for themselves.
