I think what hurts the most is when you give your all to someone. Through thick and thin, you're there for them. You stick with them no matter what. 

Then one day, they just give up. They won't even fight for you. The one thing you would never have done, they did with no hesitation. 

Walking across the room to the door, she raised her foot about to walk out. However, she paused and hesitated. Without turning her around she asked the question that has been on her mind since their separation.  

"Feng Yu, did you ever love me?"

"So when you saw the picture of me with three arms that guaranteed that I was innocent?" Feng Yu was shocked by her question but no words were coming out of his mouth.


"It had no name on it. Vanessa also examined the photos, and ..." 


"Oh! Vanessa, your ex-girlfriend and crazy receptionist you hired! I'm not surprised," Ying Yue laughed crazily and sarcastically, "Now I can say you're really stupid".


Ying Yue laughed hilariously as tears flowed down her cheeks. 


Vanessa was Chinese but was her parents gave birth to her in the United States, hence the name. She came to China and was hired as Feng Corps receptionist. Vanessa was Feng Yu's ex-girlfriend for 3 years but the woman cheated on him with an older billionaire. Feng Yu was still at the peak of his career and building his image. Vanessa wanted a well-established rich man, not a striving businessman. 


"So you trusted her more," Ying Yue said faintly. All energy drained from crying. 


"Why don't you go back to your perfect life for 5 years and marry her instead. I'll walk my road and you walk yours"


"You said you believed me, but Feng Yu, you don't trust me".


Ying Yue wiped her tears and ignored him to turn back and walk towards Mian Enterprise...only wearing socks. Feng Yu wanted to stop her from leaving but there was nothing he could say so he could only silently follow her. 


When Ying Yue's hand reached the handle to the glass door of Mian Enterprise, she turned around. 


Feng Yu looked up from the pavement promptly while Ying Yue sighed nervously once she saw him stare deeply at her. 


"Did you ever love me?" Because she still does. 


Ying Yue just popped the question, surprising Feng Yu. He couldn't utter any words. And in his silence, she found her answer. 


"I'm sorry I wasn't enough to make you stay in love with me"


Ying Yue smiled sadly and just turned pulled open the door. But before she could get in, she was pulled back into an embrace and a palm slammed the door shut from above her head. 


"Oh come on! What is with people pulling me back today-"


Ying Yue threw her hands up, exasperated but her words were cut off when Feng Yu forcefully spun her around and delivered a deep, passionate and everlasting kiss to her lips. 


"I ... Love ... You" Feng Yu uttered in between his kisses, "I love you the most baby" 


Ying Yue was stunned and quickly shoved Feng Yu away from her when they realised that not only were they blocking the entrance to Mian Enterprise but because lots of people were watching. There was even a granny clasping her hands together in happiness and twirling around sighing 'youngsters these days' and her son muttering 'get a room, too much PDA' only to get whacked by the old ladies handbag.
