Once I went out of the room, I received the phone immediately since it's vibrating for the second time: there were every chances that I may miss forever and have the greatest remorse in my life just by not picking up the phone!
"Hello!" I replied, my voice almost inaudible due to fear or natural instinct.
"Hello! Why didn't you respond. I have been dialling it for two times now." She almost screamed.
"Uh....really sorry! I was in my aunt house, so how can I respond."I replied, entrenched this time.
"It's OK. Can I say something..?" She inquired, racing my heart beat incredibly.
"Yes...." I was trembling with excitement and thrilled to hear what she has to say....if she says she loves me? I would be the Luckiest guy.
"Excited! She asked as if she saw and understood my feelings and continued, "will you be able to come to Dawa's Hotel at Norzin Lam?" She too seemed to be excited to receive my presence.
"Uh....just now? I think I won't be able to come." I pretended to check out her reaction though internally I was hooping to meet her as fast as possible.
"Awww! Please!" She begged. I could sense how much she is eager to meet me. I self confirmed that she obviously loves me. Oh God! Thanks for your succour, I shall repay you one day!
"OK. I am coming. Just wait na!" I hung the connection and stopped the taxicab. I shoved myself inside and sat comfortably since my dream is like being fulfilled. I was really eager to meet her that every second seemed too long for me.
Finally, I arrived next to Dawa's Hotel. I dismounted and paid the service tax. I bid adieu to the driver and watched the hotel. The billboard beautifully says, "Welcome". I fancied her welcoming me like the hotel signboard. I was really excited!
I mindfully opened the gate and went inside. It was a very beautiful hotel in the Thimphu City. I walked upstairs until I reached the main room. I pushed the glass door and went inside.
It's a crowded at that time. It's difficult for me to find her. I pierced through the crowds and searched with my eagle like eyes. Ough! She wasn't anywhere else.
Thousands of thoughts popped. Hundreds of melancholic emotions stroke my heart. Did she lie? Yes! She lied. I was hopeless. I turned and made the way to exit.
Suddenly, someone patted on my shoulder. I turned behind and was struck. Yes! She hasn't lied. She was there. I heard myself whisper. Naturally I smiled at her and she too did.
She held my left arm and took to the reserved table. What a great preparation she did for me! Oh! I was flying in the sky. I stared at her and she too longingly stared with her hazel eyes. Those eyes looked lovely and cutesy. Her smile was seductive and her posture awesome.
''What happened?" She broke the silence.
''Umm...nothing " I replied, fiddling with my cell.
"You have something to say. I could understand. Come on!" She encouraged me to tell. Oh God! How can I? I am poor and feel uncomfortable to tell my emotional feeling. I am deficient but I will try to speak, though.
"Umm....you are---you--you're looking..." I stuttered. I felt like my head was spinning and heart beat deceased. I was feeling numbness.
"Come on!" She cheered me.
''.....You're beautiful!" I said and sighed the breath of relief. Thank God! I could at least managed to save the situation.
"Haha...thank you, you naughty!" She smiled and patted on my shoulder. I smiled like a nut.
"Ma'am your coffee" A decent looking but unnatural makeup maid offered shyly. She was definitely from the countryside.
"OK. You can keep it here. We will make it by ourselves." Lhasang replied and smiled. The maid looked at me and provided her rurally smile. I too provided mine.
"How are you?" She again broke the silence, preparing both the cup of coffee.
"I am fine and you?" I dared to ask her. I was quite confident conversing with her vis-a-vis the earlier ones.
"Me too!" She replied peering directly into my misty eyes. I usually have eye pain, I don't know why. "How are you feeling right now?" It was really difficult question for me to answer.
"I am feeling good." I replied. Actually I felt like I love being with you but deficient of pluck hampered my plan.
"Really? Haha..." She provided the sensualising laugh.
"Yep." I managed to reply.
"This for you!" She handed one of the cups to me and smiled.
"Thanks"
You are most welcome!" She replied winking her eyes. She might be probably gaining my attention.
"What career are you planning to opt in the future?" She asked the matured question.
"Uh....if my fate agrees, I want to become a doctor. I too have my dreams of becoming a writer so that I can share our story! Haha" I teased her. I remember how great academic achievement I have. "How about you?"
"Haha....I just wanted to become a house wife of a lovely husband." She replied playing with her reddish silky hair which was shoulder length. "And you said about becoming a writer, right?" She was intrigued.
"Yeah....from early hood itself I am interested in literature." I replied sipping a mouthful of coffee. She looked genuinely longingly at me; the twist of her moisty lips and eyes adorned with black cosmetic were glistening. Her long eyelashes time and again hooked me.
"Let's go!" I suggested, embarrassed for unable to talk. In front of her, my memories were formatted. F***
"Really? OK."She replied picking her red , small handbag.
"Sister , bill?" She handed the money.
"No ! I will give." I asked the maid to return her money. Lhasang was stubborn, though she denied but latter relented, and I gave the bill.
"Bye!" I waved to her.
"Bye!" She replied still gazing at me as if to say that she wanted to spend some more time with me. She ran towards me and hugged. I was on the top of the world! She longingly gazed at me and planted her sweet aromatic kiss on my cheek. I was really feeling for her. I too kissed on her forehead and went.
