Chapter Eight

I had accomplished my first goal. Meet the target. Now my next task was to become friends with him and get him to tell me why he decided to be a doctor, if I keep pressuring him to tell me though he might make up some excuse not to tell me and I can't have that. I needed to figure out why he switched so I would be able to convince him why that was the better option. And even though I can stay in the human world for a while I can't stay there forever I have a limited amount of time so I need to get this done quickly without exposing my secret of breaking any of the rules. With my skill level of magic though it should be easier to get him to switch careers.

Throughout the next few days I got Christian to open up to me more and we became closer friends, however every time I bring up anything about his family or his parents he always goes silent and never answers. I just figured he would tell me when he was ready since we are friends now and all but in a case like this it isn't like I have all the time in the world. I had to think of a way to pressure him into telling me but also I had to let him tell of his own free will. I wasn't going to ask him about it anymore however I intend on making him tell me without realizing he is, that way I get the truth and he does it on his own. The only problem is that making him talk about anything even semi related to his family so this is going to be hella hard to do, but I am an over achiever so i'm sure it will be fine.
